personality | growing up, blackpaw and rainpaw were extremely close. their father was killed in battle when they were kits, and because of it, their mother, mind often full of grief, didn't give much attention to her kits. since rainpaw was younger, blackpaw took it upon himself to take care of her. he defends her from bullies, helps her with training, and trains as hard as he can himself, hoping that one day he'll receive the role of deputy, then leader. however, although sweet to rainpaw, he's very cold to his other fellow apprentices, having no friends with the exception of his sister.

i really like this!! i've never seen the suffix 'thorn' before, so i think it's very nice & unique! plus the first thing that came to my mind was blackberry bushes, which, with its thorns & berries, i think goes great with blackpaw's personality!
