mr. moneybags
BIG TIME BONUS
GABRIELA SAT in her office as she randomly scribbled down song lyrics for the boys.
Her door soon opened and the boys walked inside with their arms crossed.
"We want money."
She didn't bother to look up as a smile grew on her face, "I do too."
"Then let's go to Gustavo." Carlos said.
"You think Gustavo is just gonna give us money? Just like that?" Gabriela asked.
"We worked hard for it, so we might as well get it." Kendall said.
"Fine, you guys can try. I'm not gonna stop you when he hurts your feelings."
Each one of the boys followed out with a huff, they, at least thought Gabriela was going to be on their side... and she was, but she knew that Gustavo wasn't going to give them what they've asked for.
It hadn't been long since the boys left, so with a knock on her door, she looked up and saw Kendall holding a smoothie for her.
"You had money to buy me a smoothie?" She smiled.
"You think you're funny, don't you?"
"Sometimes, but thank you nonetheless."
Kendall sat the smoothie down in front of her and placed a kiss on top of her head, "This is also for you."
He then placed a stack of cash in front of her.
She slowly looked up and him and back down at the money in front of her.
Kendall watched as her eyes continuously flicker back and forth between him and the money in front of her.
"All yours." He said.
"What's the catch?"
"Catch?" He questioned, "There's no catch."
Gabriela sighed and cocked her eyebrow.
"Okay, there's a slight catch, you just can't waste it by five o'clock tomorrow."
"I see."
She grabbed the stack in front of her and turned her chair around.
"What are you doing?"
"Putting the money away, there's no need for me to spend five thousand dollars in one day."
She opened the desk drawer from behind her and from the stack of cash only took a hundred dollars from it.
"Because unlike you boys I won't be spending all my money in one day."
"Come on now, have some faith in me." Kendall pouted.
She looked up at him and smiled, "I think you can do it. I don't think the others can."
She truly had faith that Kendall wouldn't spend five thousand dollars in one day.
"What about what your money? What are you going to do with it?" She asked.
That's how the two of them ended up poolside. Looking at Kendall's money that he kept under a towel.
Katie approached the two of them. Excited enough to go say the least. If her brother had money, she had to find some way to get some of it.
"We have until five o'clock tomorrow to prove that we are responsible with our money because he thinks we're gonna do something stupid with it." Kendall explained.
"Like put it in a towel." Katie mocked, "He just wants you to do what he would do with it, invest it and make even more money. I recommend commodities."
"I wouldn't do that." Gabriela spoke.
"What are commodities?" Kendall asked.
"Just name a food you like."
"Oranges."
"You're not gonna get that much money with oranges." Gabriela said.
"Who's says?" Kendall questioned.
"I say. Why you sell oranges? I would say to just keep doing what you're doing, keep the money under the towel."
"I bet we could sell oranges." Katie smiled.
"Fine." Gabriela said, "A hundred dollars says you'll mess it up and you can't come to me for help, no matter what issue may arise."
"If I win?" Kendall smiled.
"You get a hundred and whatever you want. Deal?"
"Deal."
Gabriela smiled as she stood, "Fine. If you need nothing from me I'll be in my room."
Kendall Knight couldn't see how he'd gone this long without Gabriela helping him. Truly, the bet shouldn't have been made, especially knowing that Gabriela was going to win, even if Kendall didn't have any intent to do that.

EMBARRASSED TO say the least, Kendall didn't call Gabriela last night. He didn't even go see her after his insane mistake.
But, at the end of the day (and literally no other choice) Kendall knocked on her door. He only hoped Lucy would open the door instead.
"Want this orange juice?"
Gabriela smiled, "Sure."
She extended her hand to grab it, but Kendall pulled back, "That will be four thousand eight hundred dollars."
She tilted her head to the side, "I don't even know what to say to you. You spent it all on oranges?" She asked.
"I know you said not to come to you, but I really need your help."
Gabriela sighed, "I said I wouldn't help you."
Kendall huffed. Gabriela meant was she said, "Don't come for me with any help." She meant that.
"Look I really want to help you, Kendall, but you gotta do this one on your own. This was your money and your responsibility. I wouldn't even know what to tell you if I'm being honest."
Kendall knew Gabriela was right. This wasn't her problem. She, out of all four bandmates, was the most responsible. She was stuck her arm and leg out for the boys. She deserved a break from their antics.
"Can I at least run my idea by you?"
She held a small smile and nodded, "A ball pit full of oranges. Ten dollars for each jump." He said.
"If you think that's going to work. Do it. Do what you think is best. I'm something will work out in the end. It always does."
Kendall could be thankful that Gabriela always positively looked at things. No matter what the situation was.
Kendall nodded, "I better get started. We have until five."
"Good luck."
Kendall gave her one last smile before heading downstairs and to the park.
Gabriela felt guilty. Never Kendall's intentions to make her feel guilty. She knew she was right, this was a Kendall problem that she truly didn't have an answer to.
She took a look at the clock on the wall.
Four-thirty.
She knew Kendall's ball pit idea was stupid. She sighed and grabbed a random pair of shoes and headed down towards the lobby.
All four boys now sitting around. Carlos' assistant that he had mentioned earlier was sitting across from them.
"We are officially broke... again." James sighed.
"I can't pay my assistant anymore and he was just about to tell us how to make money."
Every one of them looked defeated. They wanted to prove a point and completely failed.
Gabriela held a hundred dollar bill out for Carlos.
"You can't." Kendall said.
"I said I couldn't help you, not Carlos. Take it."
Carlos quickly took the money from her and gave it to his assistant. Another hour of him working for Carlos whether he liked it or not.
He explained that he had an old boss that would buy the oranges from them because he was afraid of goblins.
Surely, it worked (shockingly). By the end of the day. The boys had their five thousand dollars back and wanted nothing to do with having full access to their bank accounts.
Once again, a small thing turned into something greater and Gabriela came to the rescue. She never asked for anything in return.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
Kendall kept his hands over her eyes. A small surprise. He, one, wanted to repay her for everything she's done, two, he hoped she would forget about the hundred dollars he now owed her.
He removed his hands from her eyes. She slowly opened her eyes. The layout of a small dinner for the both of them.
"Just as a thank you."
As Kendall said, he didn't know how he functioned before meeting Gabriela, but luckily he did.
