BIG TIME SUPERHEROES

THOUGH IT was rude, Gabriela got up early to make it to Rocqué Records.

When Kendall kissed her it was kind of... shocking to say the least. So leaving early and trying not to bump into him was the best bet.

She gently shut the door behind her and made her way down to the lobby.

"Gab."

She closed her eyes and held her hand on the elevator door to keep it open.

Kendall walked inside and the two made their way to the lobby.

"Excited?" Gabriela asked, "Second album is almost done. Gotta feel something."

"I'm feeling something."

The elevator door opened and the two walked out of them and headed to Rocqué Records.

Halfway there, and walking in silence, Kendall spoke up.

"We have to talk about it." He said, no standing in front of her.

Gabriela stood in place, "Fine. Let's talk. You kissed me, I think I kissed you. What else is there to talk about?"

Kendall sighed, "I don't know. Where do we go from here?"

Gabriela shrugged her shoulders.

If someone told Gabriela she would be in a situation where she would have the option of even kissing her friend's ex... she wouldn't believe you.

Jo and Gabriela weren't just co-stars, they were friends (even if it wasn't seen) and Gabriela would feel bad if she continued to act on whatever was happening with her and Kendall.

She had no way of even getting in touch with Jo. What if Jo came back hoping Kendall waited for her to only find out he got with Gabriela?

"I don't know, Kendall. I don't even know how to process what happened, but I can't pretend it didn't happen."

"Do you want to?" Kendall asked, "Pretend it didn't happen?"

She glanced up at him, "No. I didn't hate it... is that what you want me to say?"

"I just want to know where we stand."

Gabriela didn't have a straightforward answer for him and luckily enough for her the other boys walking inside Rocqué Records.

"The others are here, let's go inside."

She quickly walked away from him and wrapped her arm around Carlos' shoulder.

All five of them walked inside the building.

The boys stood in the stood and sung the most recent song to finally complete their album.

"Print it!"

"BTR's new album is complete." Kendall smiled.

"With twelve new songs." Carlos said.

"And a new attitude."

"And it's gonna send BTR to new heights." Gustavo said, "And nobody can stop us."

They all stood around Gustavo's computer watching each song get uploaded one by one.

Soon it was uploaded on his computer, meaning a break for the boys and a somewhat break for Gabriela, Kelly, and Gustavo.

"And now we make our ceremonial march to our digital storage room and grab our big-time hard drive and get it to the CD-making place."

As they walked out of the studio and man in a suit walked out holding the hard drive.

"Looking for this?"

"Hawk!"

"Who?" Gabriela asked.

"What are you doing here?" Gustavo asked.

James peered over, "Why are you dressed like that?"

"Oh, I'm crazy now, and I'm stealing your hard drive to get my revenge."

Gabriela stepped forward, "I don't know you and you don't know me, but I worked hard on writing those songs and I would love to have that hard drive back."

"No."

"This looks like a job for... him." James said.

Kendall lowered James' arm, "No, it doesn't."

"'Cause there's seven of us and only one of you." Carlos said.

"Guess again. Hawk-men!"

Three bigger men stepped out causing all of them to take steps backwards.

"You know, jail gives you lots of time to design cool henchmen costumes and plan cool escapes."

He threw a smoke bomb on the group and just like that he was gone.

And if he was gone that meant the songs were also gone.

Gustavo decided to call the police.

The guys explained who Hawk and honestly, Gabriela was still at a loss.

"Right now, we can't positivity identify anyone, except that it's-"

"Hawk!" Gustavo interrupted, "Arrest him! It's Hawk!"

"Except that it's someone disguised as a nut bag. Now, we'll do a full investigation as soon as we can." The Officer said.

"As soon as you can?"

"We need to ship our album, which is on that hard drive, today." Kelly said.

"Oh, really? Well, in that case, let me get our special boy band task force on this ASAP."

"Look here, Officer. I don't know how hard it was for you to get your job, but I worked my butt off to get where I am. If you don't want to help us, just say so. We'll do it on our own." Gabriela said.

"I have a lot of other crimes I have to de with today: a naked mugger, a pawn store holdup, and three cats stuck in trees... make that four cats." The Office said, "Besides, why don't you just download your backup files? You do have backup files, right?"

The Officer pushed through the others and left.

"Control room!"

Gabriela sat down in front of the computer and found something label "Zwagger.".

"He must've hacked and stolen all our song files." Logan said.

"Wait, why is Blow Your Speakers Out showing up on a web link?" James asked.

Gabriela clicked the web link, which led her to the website of a new artist.

"Who's "Hot New Artist Zwagger"?" Kelly asked.

"And why can you preorder Blow Your Speakers Out on his hot new album?"

Carlos gasped, "And Paralyzed and Superstar and all of our songs!"

"What label is he on?"

"Hawks Records." Gabriela said.

"Hawk's recording our new songs and is gonna release them before we do." Gustavo said.

A quick drive later the group made their way to Hawk Records.

"Oh, okay. So what do we do?" Carlos asked.

"I think we should just call the police again." Kelly said.

"They weren't any help the first time, they aren't going to help the second time." Gabriela replied.

"I think it's time... for him." James said holding two bandannas.

Carlos and Kendall stopped him from going any further.

"The only way to defeat supervillains is with superheroes." James said.

"All we have to do is get into Hawk Records and steal our hard drive... normal burglar style." Kendall said.

"For you to be arrested again?" Gabriela asked, "That's not going to work."

"She's right. You're breaking and entering." Logan said.

"May I remind you that in that studio is the only copy of BTR's second album? Now, who's in?" Gustavo asked.

"Give me the bolt cutters." Logan said.

Carlos smiled, "Sledgehammer, please."

Kendall faced Gabriela, "I'm not going in there to have the possibility of being arrested." She said.

"You'd still be our getaway driver."

"I'm not going in." She whispered.

Kendall smiled, "Kelly, Gabriela, keep the van ready and running. And you..." His attention now on James, "can wear one bandanna."

"Let's go get our songs back." James said.

Gabriela and Kelly sat in the van longer than what they would've expected.

Gabriela looked down in the rearview mirror and saw the same officer walking inside Hawk Records.

She rolled her eyes and looked at Kelly, "They're gonna get arrested."

Kelly agreed.

"I'll meet you at the police station." Kelly said.

Gabriela got out of the van, police cars gone.

If she was caught on any cameras with what she was currently wearing she would end up in the same place as the others.

She changed and made her way to the police station.

Asking to see the boys, another officer walked her to the back.

Seeing her walk in, Carlos stood up, "Hey." He smiled.

"Hi."

Kendall approached the two, "I wanna hear it." Gabriela smiled.

"I'm not saying anything."

"You don't have to, I know I'm right." She said.

"You had time to change?" Carlos asked.

"I had to change. If I was caught on camera I would end up in there with all of you." Gabriela tilted the brim of her hat upwards, "Kelly should be here to bail you out though."

The three of them then heard James, as he used his bandanna to try and unlock the door.

"You made bail." The Officer said.

Kelly walked inside.

"Now, stay out of my way. I am looking into your hard drive robbery, but this is the LAPD, and we deal with a lot of crime. Last year alone, we had a bun- will someone please save the tree cat? And I better not catch you anywhere near Hawk Records, or next time, there will be no bail."

"Yes, sir, Mr. Commissioner." Gustavo said, "We will stay away from Hawk Records."

"OKAY, HOW do we get back into Hawk Records?"

"Weren't you idiots just in jail?" Kelly asked.

That's when the laughing started.

"Ah, I can almost hear him laughing at us now." Gustavo said.

"Wait." Kendall said.

Turning, the group faced the computer.

"There are three things every supervillain must do: laugh evilly, seek revenge, and show up on various screens unexpectedly."

"You'll never get away with this, Hawk."

"Oh, but I am." He said, "I'm fact, I've just put a little Zwagger on your song Superstar, which is going to turn him into a superstar."

"That's song six. He's halfway there." Carlos said.

"Did you say, "his song Superstar"?"

"Okay, and what do you think of this as the title for my new CD? It's called Caw."

"This is stupid." Gabriela said and ended the call.

"We will not let him get away with this." Kelly said.

Logan sighed, "Yeah, well, we're not allowed to go to Hawk Records, either."

"Wow, I never thought I would say this..." Kendall said and faced James, "James!"

"We won't be there. But he will."

"Who's he?" Gabriela asked.

Spinning around, he changed clothes.

"How does he do that?" Kelly asked.

"We're not sure." Kendall said.

"Okay, so bandanna man is going to defeat Hawk and his Hawk-Men by himself?" Logan asked.

"No. The Supertastic Super-Seven will."

"Who's the Supertastic Super-Seven?" Carlos asked.

"I'm looking at them."

"So, you want us to disguise ourselves as superheroes, pull a surprise raid at Hawk Records, and take our hard drive by force?"

"I'm not wearing a costume, James." Gabriela said.

"Does anybody have a better idea?" James asked.

Each of their hands went up.

"I didn't think so."

Sometime later they said the majority of the things that had in the studio in one area.

"I can't believe we're doing this." Kendall sighed.

"I can." Gabriela said.

"Supertastic Super-Seven, suit up!"

"You said "super" twice." Logan said.

"You bet I did."

"I'm not dressing up." Gabriela said.

"Kelly, where's your costume?" Kendall asked.

"I didn't like anything in the pile."

"Well, you two can't go like that." Carlos said, "You'll get recognized."

"I'll be bowl-head." Kelly said, "Covers my face, and I don't look any dumber than you guys."

Bending down Gabriela picked some sunglasses off the floor, "Happy?"

"Supertastic Super-Seven, to the skies!"

"You can't fly."

"How did they make it this far?" Gabriela asked.

Kelly shrugged her shoulders as they made their way to the van.

They made their way back to Hawk Records and stood in a hallway as Hawk himself (along with his men and Zwagger) rounded the corner.

"Think again, Hawk." Gustavo said.

"Who are they?"

"We are the Supertastic Super-Seven." James said.

"You said "super" twice."

"You bet he did."

"Just give us the songs back, I'm tired." Gabriela said.

"Yeah, not gonna happen."

That's when the fighting started.

"It's time to get the Hawk out of here."

Before throwing his smoke bomb, Gabriela took the opportunity to hit him.

"Wow, that hurt."

That's when the officer walked inside.

"Do you see this? Can you believe what I'm seeing?" He asked, "I thought I told you guys to stay away from Hawk Records."

"Commissioner, they broke in and attacked me. I think you know what to do."

"Yes... arrest him for stealing Big Time Rush's second album."

"W-what? No, you can't prove anything."

"We checked local costume shops to see who bought a Hawk costume, and we found this receipt."

"That could be any Hawk."

"And we found your comment card, where under reason for purchase, you checked "revenge"."

"Who cares?" Hawk said, "You'll never find your precious hard drive."

"You mean this one? He's been talking to it all day, saying, "revenge is mine," and freaking me out."

The Officer held the hard drive in his hands and tossed it to Gabriela.

"Hey! I thought I told you guys I would handle this."

"Are we in trouble?"

"No. In fact, I could use an action squad like you that I can call when disaster strikes this fine city and it's too much for me to handle."

"Well, while you guys debate on an answer, I'll go back to the studio and upload this hard drive, because I'm done with this day." Gabriela said.

She made her way back to the studio and watched the hard drive upload, slower than it was the first time.

She held her legs close to her body, her sunglasses had been removed and the same jacket and hat were on. She also had a block of cheese in hand.

She heard the door to the studio open and as she turned Kendall walked inside.

"Hey, it's almost done." She smiled.

"Great."

He grabbed another chair and sat down beside her.

"Can we talk?"

She turned her chair to face him, "Sure."

"I'm just going to be straightforward, I like you, Gabriela."

"I know."

"So, what happens now?"
