BIG TIME WEDDING

GABRIELA HAD never really late, like, ever.

Today was a little different.

She ran towards the back entrance of Rocqué Records, her dress flowing as she continued running.

Knowing she was going to be late she left her hair curled and put sneakers on.

She finally made her way towards the others. She saw a man throwing dirt on the ground and another walking on top of it.

"What's going on?" She whispered.

"The King of Kuplankistan is here." Kendall whispered back.

Gabriela only nodded.

"Ah, Big Time Rush." The King said, "We are very, very big fans of yours in my country, and we have traveled very, very far to come meet with you."

Nothing was said after that.

"Bow." Kelly said, "Bow!"

They did so and the King did the same in return.

"But your biggest fan is my beautiful daughter, Princess Svetlana."

She smiled at the boys who did the same and took a step forward.

"Now, which one of them do you want to marry?"

They each quickly took a step back.

"Well, their posters are all over your room. You must want to marry one of them."

"But, father, they're all so cute."

"Which one of you want to propose to the Princess?"

"Wait, father." Svetlana said, "You? Who are you?"

The boys pushed Gabriela forward.

"I'm Gabriela. I write songs for the band."

"Ah, so you must be dating or married to one, right?"

Gabriela didn't say anything. Gustavo grabbed her shoulders and pulled her back, "Tell her yes." He whispered.

Gently pushing her back, she felt herself stumble.

"Yes." Gabriela smiled, "I am dating one of these..." She looked back at them quickly, "lovely boys."

Svetlana smiled widely, "That's wonderful. Who is it? I do not want to take someone who's with someone else."

If she stuttered it would probably mess up what had lead up to this point.

Fake dating James was out of the picture, especially since he would probably enjoy dating her claiming that it was really real.

Fake dating Carlos wouldn't be bad, but Carlos would go over the top making it seem fake.

Fake dating Logan wouldn't be bad either... wouldn't be bad if Camille didn't see them out. Gabriela felt like she owed Logan more than anything, but he strictly told her not to worry because she had done so much for them.

And finally, fake dating Kendall the first time was a disaster, but he also had a girlfriend at the time.

"Kendall." Gabriela smiled, "Kendall is my boyfriend."

She held her hand out behind her for him to grab ahold of.

He grabbed it, lacing their fingers together.

Svetlana, though not knowing the girl, was excited for her. Before Svetlana could congratulate the "couple" Gustavo stepped forward.

"Well, your highness, the guys are just- well, the guys-"

"Ah, very noble." The King said, "They don't want to dishonor their brother."

"Exactly."

"Get them knives so they can fight for her."

Each one of the guards threw a sword on the ground.

Carlos began to bend down and the others stopped him.

Gabriela let go of Kendall's hand and stepped forward again, "Before the knife fight, we just want to talk to the boys about who will marry your lovely princess daughter."

They all gathered in Gustavo's office.

"What's going on?" Kendall asked.

"I was told it was a VIP visit." Kelly said, "I thought the princess wanted a few autographs, not a husband."

"Although, she is beautiful, and of course, I would make a great prince." James said.

Logan slapped his chest, "Okay, stop it. Stop it now."

"Okay, before this blows up into a big international thing, go back to the Palm Woods and lock yourselves in your crib until Kelly and I figure this out."

"How do we get out if the guards are right outside this door?" Gabriela asked.

"I promised myself I would never show anyone this."

Gustavo flipped one of his awards back and pushed a button, which led to a secret passageway.

"You'll need to answer these three riddles to make it to street level."

"Are you joking?" Gabriela asked.

"Go!"

They finally made it back to the Palm Woods and enter the boys' apartment.

"We made it." Carlos huffed, "And we're still single."

"We are so not ready for marriage." Logan said.

"No matter how great a prince I would have made." James smiled.

"Do you want to get married?" Gabriela asked.

"I'm just saying I think she would have picked me. I always thought I'd make a great prince. I think she picked up on that."

"Who cares?" Kendall questioned, "We are going to do what Gustavo said."

"Which is stay here, lay low, and keep away from the pretty, pretty princess." Logan said.

"All in?"

They put their hands in the center, "Not getting married!"

"James left." Gabriela said.

"Find him!"

Each going the opposite way, Gabriela was the first to find James.

Grabbing him by his shoulders, she pulled him from the corner.

"What are you doing?" She whispered.

"I just want to talk to her. I don't want to marry, just want to confirm that she would pick me as her prince."

"That really matters to you?"

"Uh, yes."

Gabriela sighed, "James you're being ridiculous right now. It shouldn't matter if she would've picked you or not."

It was silent until it wasn't.

"Your right. I'm just going to get ice from the lobby."

"You're gonna get ice and come back to the room."

"Of course."

He made his way to the lobby and once he was out of sight she turned and faced the others.

"Where's James?" Logan asked.

"He said he was going to the lobby."

"Come on." Kendall said and grabbed her hand.

The four of them made their way to the lobby and they saw James, the Princess, the King, and the King's guards standing in front of each other.

"What did you do?" Logan asked.

"I just gave her a rose!"

"And in our country, that is a marriage proposal." The King said.

"You said you were getting ice!" Gabriela shouted.

"Internet. Now."

"Ooh, I got it. I got it." Carlos said, "It is tradition in Kuplankistan for the suitor to present one white rose upon marriage proposal."

"Logan!"

"But you're not in Kuplankistan anymore. You're on American soil."

"Bolsheviks!" The King said, "Dirt boy always makes sure we are on Kuplankistan soil."

Looking down, Dirt boy was doing his job.

"Now we shall get ready for big-time wedding!"

The four of them waited for Gustavo and Kelly to come to the Palm Woods and as soon as they did, they were with another lady.

Svetlana came down to the lobby, "Gabriela."

The group faced her and Gabriela stepped forward.

"Hi."

"Would you like to be my bridesmaids?"

Gabriela's eyes widen.

Kendall rested his hands on her shoulders, "Just say, we'll try and figure out how we can get James out of this and if we can't do it, maybe you'll find a different way out with Svetlana." He whispered.

Gabriela sighed and nodded. Svetlana smiled and grabbed Gabriela's hand and led her to the elevator.

Once inside Gabriela was bombarded with questions.

"What's it like dating Kendall?"

"Nice."

"Nice?"

"Kendall's a good guy. He doesn't want to hurt people and if he does he tries his best to make it up."

"Do you love him?"

Gabriela let out a breathy laugh.

Of course, she loved Kendall but definitely not in the way Svetlana was asking. Sorta?

"Yes... yes, I do."

The elevator opened and Svetlana led Gabriela into her room to get ready.

The dress Gabriela had to wear was a little tight and the fact that she had to sit so Svetlana could do her hair was definitely painful.

"So, are you excited to get married?"

Svetlana didn't answer.

"Do you want to get married?"

"Of course." She said, "It's just... James isn't the one I want to marry."

"Why don't you tell your dad that. Marry who you want to marry."

"He wouldn't approve."

"Shouldn't matter what he thinks about your relationship." Gabriela said, "As long as you're happy, you know."

Svetlana ran her hands through Gabriela's now straighten hair and placed a small hair accessory on the side of her head.

"Let's get ready to head down." Svetlana said.

Svetlana walked off before Gabriela could say anything else.

She sat at the mirror for a moment longer. If anything Svetlana made her look nice, no doubt, but it wasn't something she could focus on.

It was about Svetlana and her not wanting to marry James.

She stood and made her way down towards the lobby.

Once she was down there she heard James yell for help.

"Gustavo. It's Kendall, meet us in the park!"

They began to run towards the park.

Gabriela couldn't run as fast as the boys, due to the fact that she had on higher heels than what she had on early before.

She took her heels off and caught up with the boys.

After getting to the park the boys along with Kelly and Gustavo grabbed James and began to run off with him. The King followed suit.

Gabriela and Svetlana joined along in the chase, just a little slower.

Finally finding them, James was once again in the arms of the King's men.

"And I was going to invite you all to wedding with other dignitaries." The King said, "But now you're all pffff..."

"Listen here, king guy. It's over." Gustavo said.

"He's right, your highness."

"Who are you?" The King asked.

"Millicent Crane. State Department. I've been tracking this case, and you can't force James to marry your daughter."

"You mean I can't get daughter to marry handsome pop star?"

"Well, if you held the wedding at the Kuplankistan Embassy where our laws don't apply, you could."

Gabriela rolled her eyes.

"Well, then, let's have wedding at the embassy." The King said, "So long suckers."

Gabriela began walking with the others (she felt like she didn't have much us a choice), she pulled her phone out and texted Kendall. Letting him know where they were all heading.

She had arrived at the embassy and her phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Gab, did Svetlana tell you anything about the wedding?" Kendall asked.

"All I know is that she doesn't want to get married to James. Other than that I don't know anything else."

She heard Kendall sigh, "Just find a way inside, because the wedding is about to start."

She hung up.

Svetlana approached her and told her it was time.

"Why don't you just tell your father the truth?" Gabriela asked, "You obviously don't want to marry James. I'm sure he'll understand."

Svetlana sighed, "It's too late."

The two of them headed towards the front as James and Svetlana prepared to get married.

As James stalled with his answer, Carlos walked into the building, "We made it."

"Oh, traffic was terrible." Logan said.

"How did they get in?" The King asked.

"Are we too late to propose a toast?" Kendall asked.

"To James!"

The boys threw dirt from their cups and the King ordered his guards to stop them.

"Sorry, but we need to borrow James really quick." Kendall said.

After that chaos ensued.

Gabriela faced Svetlana, "Just tell me who you want to marry."

Svetlana came closer and whispered in her ear, "Dirt boy."

Gabriela smiled and as she saw Kendall she went over and pulled him under the table.

"Where's dirt boy?" She asked.

"I don't know."

Gabriela peaked out from under the table to be able to find him, along with James.

Kendall looked at Gabriela for the first time since she entered the lobby again.

Her dress was way longer than the one she wore to prom and no doubt she looked just as beautiful as before.

She finally saw both of them and grabbed their ankles.

They looked down and crawled under the table.

"You two need to switch clothes." Gabriela said.

"What?" James questioned.

"You two obviously don't want to get married and she rather marry dirt boy. So switch clothes."

Logan and Carlos joined them under the table and when two boys finally switched clothes they all lifted the table cloth and stood from under the table.

"Nice try, Big Time Rush." The King said, "But that boy is going to marry my daughter now. I command it."

The guards pushed him forward.

Svetlana looked at Gabriela.

She smiled and winked at her.

"I now pronounce you married. You may now kiss the bride."

Removing the piece that covered their mouth, Dirt boy smiled.

"Dirt boy."

"Dirt boy?"

"Dirt boy."

The King began to stutter, "A princess marrying a dirt boy? It cannot be."

"Well, you did command that, that boy marry your daughter." Logan said.

"Daddy, you know I have always loved dirt boy."

"And you know I will always treat the Princess like a queen."

"Well... at least it's not goat poop boy. This wedding has my blessing!"

With that out of the way, they all stood outside and threw dirt on the newly wedded couple.

"That was actually a really nice wedding." James said.

"And it gets better, because I have four other daughters. Which one would you each like to marry?"

"Yeah... run."

GABRIELA WALKED into the lobby, still dressed in what Svetlana had given her.

Kendall had finally escaped the four daughters of the king and caught up to Gabriela.

"Hey, hey, hey." He said out of breath.

"Did my boyfriend get away?" She joked.

"Indeed he did." He smiled. He stood up straight and looked down at her, "You- you look nice."

"Thanks. It'll be the last time you'll see me wearing it." She smiled, "You look nice too."

"Do you go out to eat?"

"Right now?"

"Uh- you don't have to, but, yes, now would be great."

She hooked her arm to his, "Let's go. I really want a taco."
