He... Saw... Everything.

He was outside my window the whole time. He now knows everything! I was freaking out at what he was going to do. If he calls the police, then I'm dead! The Stranger will just take me to another continent! Or even just kill me!

I walked over to my bed and just sat there. I was staring at the ground, speechless even when I had no words in the first place! I put all of that aside and just got tucked in bed and fell asleep. 

In the morning, I quickly took of the shock collar and placed it on my nightstand. I got up in the same clothes from yesterday and quietly walked downstairs. I looked around for The Stranger, but didn't see him, so I grabbed my stuff and hurried out to get to school.

As I closed the door, I saw someone standing at the sidewalk. As I looked to see who it was, I saw that it was none other than Natsu.

"So, who is that guy?" He asked like he would any other question.

"Family friend. Yeah. That's all he is." I said bluntly as I walked past him. He followed right next to me though.

"You sure. It didn't seem like of to me."

"We'll then, you shouldn't be spying on me! That's violating my privacy."

"And that man's violating you as a human." He said, standing in front of me.

"I don't care! He's keeping me alive at least!"

"But... UGH! You shouldn't let him control you like that!"

"I can because he's my way out of this life alive!"

"........ That red paint on the motorcycle isn't paint, is it?"

I froze. I remembered that night so clearly, and remembering that my life is on a time limit.

FLASHBACK

🔑Lucy as a child🔑

"LAYLA! GET LUCY OUT OF HERE!"  Daddy screamed. I looked down the stairs and saw daddy fighting a stranger with a knife. I got scared, so I ran towards mommy who was breaking the window open to get out.

"Lucy! Come on sweety! We need to leave!" Mommy said, but she was crying too. I looked down the stairs and saw daddy on the floor with red stuff coming out of him.

"D-d-daddy's bleeding... Mommy we have to help daddy!" I said, running down the stairs to get to daddy. 

"Lucy! No!" I heard mommy say. I turned around and saw mommy fall on the ground too. She had red blood coming out of her too. I looked at both mommy and daddy and started crying. I looked around and saw the stranger that killed them.

"Please don't hurt me!! I'll do anything for you! But please, I don't want to die!" I begged, crying next to mommy.

"Don't worry little one. I won't kill you. Not yet at least. You're staying with me until I think you deserve to die. Understand?!" He said threateningly. 

"O-ok." I said, taking his hand and walked out with him to his motorcycle he had hidden in some bushes.

The pretty white wasn't pretty any more.

"Lucy. Lucy? Lucy! Are you there?" Natsu said, waving his hand in front of my face. I simply nodded and continued walking.

"Hey! Don't just leave me like that!" He said.

"It will happen though. I will leave you without explanation because not even I will know why..... We're at school, I'm a mute." I said, pulling my hood over my head and walking to a vinery on the side of the school. Natsu, surprisingly didn't follow. He continued on walking to his group of friends.

Jeez! This guy is pushy!
