🔥Nastu's P.O.V🔥

"Don't get used to your cell." She said. Before I could even say anything, she ran off with the Chief. 

I sat in my normal spot and thought. I couldn't figure out what she was doing. If she's trying to talk the Chief into getting me out, then she's crazy!  I'm lucky enough that he's letting me out for school!

As I thought, I thought back to what I had heard today. Those rumors, those three girls, Lucy being the one girl no on liked. Now I really want to go to school! I can help Lucy stand up for herself! It's least I could do to thank her!

I then thought back to the park. She worried me so much that I grabbed her arm and shook her, forgetting that my touch could burn her, yet she didn't flinch. She was putting up with all of my crap to make me happy. I wanted to help her in some way to repay her! But she won't accept it!

About an hour later, she came back. I thought that the Chief would've made her go home.

"So, what'd you talk about?" I asked, watching her drop to the ground and lean against the bars.

"He didn't let me talk! He went on and on about Sting, and how he's being let out earlier than expected. He kept telling me to worry more about my brother than about a demon I met just a few days ago. By the way, your horn's stuck in the bars." She explained. I tried moving my head, but I was indeed stuck. She laughed but got up and helped me get out.

"You should watch your head. Next thing you know you'll be stuck over night and I won't be here to help you." She giggled. I loved her laugh. It made me smile.

"Look! You smiled again!"

"Yeah, yeah. I get it!" I said, turning around and pouting.

"Aww... Someone doesn't like smiling~!" She teased.

"I do! It's just... Been a long time."

"I understand. Anyways, the Chief basically wants me to care more about my brother than you."

"And you should!" I said, even though I didn't mean it.

"Natsu. I've told you-"

"I know. I just don't get why you're helping me, or even around me. Everyone's terrified of me, except for you. Why is that?"

She sat silently, as if she was thinking about her answer.

"I guess it's because you remind me of myself. The only difference is that you're forcefully locked here, while I lock myself inside myself." She said. This intrigued me, but I didn't know if I should ask her about it or leave her in sweet bliss.

"I'll be back tomorrow at seven. Try to be awake by then." She said, standing up and walking into the dark abyss of the hallway.

After I was sure that she was gone, my mind took control and paralyzed my whole body. It's not that I was having an attack, but yet, I wasn't forcing myself to do this either.

I woke about only an hour later. It was a little after ten, but something felt weird. I went to rub my head, expecting my horns to be in the way, but all I found was my salmon hair with no horns. Yet I was still in my demon form!
