🔥Natsu P.O.V🔥

 "Natsu! You wings are gone!" Lucy yelled at me, pointing behind me. I looked back and indeed saw no wings. I tried to use my backbones to see if I could move anything, but there wasn't anything there.

 "First my horns! Now my wings?! What's going on?!" I shouted, getting angry at my confusion.

 "You're done transforming right? Your wings should be there!" 

 "Like I know how this works! I can't control my form like you can!"

 "Shut up! If the chief hears you say that, then I'll be in there with you, and I might as well just throw Wednesday away!" Lucy said, sticking her hand through the bars and covering my mouth.

 "Jeez, even your mouth burns." She said, pulling away and looking at her hand.

 "I should probably do something about this, or else the chief will use this against me. Hmph. All well!" She smiled, taking out a bandage from her bag and wrapping it around her hand.

 "Would you stop touching me if I'm going to burn you?! I hate it when you're in pain because of something I can't control!" I complained.

 "And that's exactly why I don't stop. It's not in your control, therefore, it's never your fault, so I never blame ypu. I do this on my own accord. Now, I have to go. I won't be here tomorrow, but I'll come back in Monday to pick you up for school. Bye Natsu." She said, walking off into the dark hallway, taking her footsteps with her.

 I sat on the ground, leaning against the bars as I tried to think about why my wings weren't showing.

Think brain! What happened the night I lost my horns?!

Flashback Time!

"He's a demon! He doesn't deserve-"

"He's just as human as you and me and you know that! Don't you dare call him a demon in front of me again!" Lucy shouted. The chief looked stunned, but regained his composure.

"You should watch your head. Next thing you know you'll be stuck over night and I won't be here to help you." She giggled. I loved her laugh. It made me smile.

"Look! You smiled again!"

"Yeah, yeah. I get it!" I said, turning around and pouting.

"Aww... Someone doesn't like smiling~!" She teased.

"I do! It's just... Been a long time."

End of flashbacks

 "I don't get it! Why did my horns disappear then?! What hap- wait. Something happened the night before."

Another flashback!(kept in no one's P.O.V)

Lucy looked at him with pity. She tried to think of something, but she could only think of one. She hesitated for a minute, but she got up the courage to reach out and touch his hand. It burned her, but she didn't let that pain show. Natsu looked up in surprise. He tried moving his hand away, but instead of moving away, his hand moved on its own and intertwined with Lucy's.

"See? You can get used to people." Lucy smiled, completely forgetting about the pain of the burn. Natsu was still shocked, but he kept with hand with Lucy's; He couldn't stop staring at her as she leaned against the bars that separated them.

End of flashback

 "I can only see one thing in common between that night and the past day with her. But is it really that? I guess it's mutual. I'm not sure!" I mumbled to myself as I tried to think of any other reasonable explanation, but I couldn't.

 "No. I'm certain that's the reason now. I'm just living a beauty and the beast story. Our in our cases, Angel weigh a demon."

 With that being said to myself, I got into bed and slept with a smile on my face.
