Lucy's P.O.V

I sat on my bed, looking through an old book that I haven't looked at in a while. It was about mythical creatures, and how they helped humanity grow and evolve into a hybrid on human and mythical.

Once I realized what it was about though, I shot up and poked through the pages again. I skimmed through some paragraphs, looking for certain words.

I came upon the word I was looking for and read what I had thought to be a fantasy.

Celestial were born from the sun and grew into flowers. Humans word pluck these flowers and start a garden of their own, spreading the celestial species without realizing. The sun then stopped producing celestials, for it was satisfied by the population. One by one, the flowers turned into a human form and walked the earth as human. Every celestial being joined with a human, and created the hybrids of celestial and human.

I couldn't believe it. I had read this book many times, but never thought of it like this.

I looked at the next chapter, and saw it to be about Demon hybrids.

Demons were born from each element of the earth, including water, air, earth, and fire. Each element held one demon. Demons then met Celestials. One look at the demons, and the celestial race rules them as impure and vile creatures. Demons then rules Celestials as perfect beings that were creating an imbalance between the pure and impure of the humans. Celestial and demons have had war, and only one demon race survived. The fire demon, and he passed on his legacy, which is now lost among this world to this day.

 "So... We're supposed to be enemies. But instead, we're good friends." I mumbled to myself also finished.

If any other celestials appeared and found Natsu, would they try to kill him, or would they not know about the history hidden under our noses?
