🔥Natsu's P.O.V🔥

Lucy had planned something for me next Wednesday, and the chief didn't look so happy about it. When I tried to ask Lucy about it at the table, she simply looked at her other friends, and I sat there and questioned what she was thinking.

"I'm still not going to tell you. It's meant to be a surprise, so it's going to remain a surprise, because I still know that you'll protest against it. Igneel is in on the secret too, so it's not only me who will be surprising you." She finished with a smile.

 "Really Lucy?! Just-"

 "Hey Lucy! Natsu! Come join us in here! The water feels nice in this hot weather. Erza said, leaning against a rock wall.

 "Nope! You know how much I hate swimming. I'll pass."  Lucy called back. They all turned over to me, but I remained silent, knowing whatever I said would come out wrong. They all shrugged and continued on playing.

 "Follow me Natsu. I know somewhere we can go. And I can use my speed to get us there." Lucy said, holding out her hand.

 "Lucy, I don't want to burn you more than I-"

She didn't even let me finish before she grabbed my hand and took off running at tremendous speeds. It only took a few seconds to get to the place she wanted to.

 "Look. Isn't it beautiful?" She said, letting go of my hand and staring out at the horizon. I followed her gaze and saw the marvelous view. The sun was just barely over the horizon, creating a reflection in the water of itself. 

"This Natsu. This is what freedom is to me. In you're eyes, freedom is getting out of that prison and being a free man. To me, freedom is getting to be who and what I am without fear of judgment. Only at this place though do I feel free. Everywhere else, is my prison." She said, smiling as the breeze blew through her hair.

This is get freedom. I promise to give it to you one day, as you have promised to give me mine.
