🔥Natsu's P.O.V🔥

We got home to an aroma of amazing food. Even though Lucy and I ate before leaving, I wanted that food!

I ran to the kitchen, just to see my mom throwing away the leftovers!

"MOM! NO!" I screamed as I ran towards her. But I was too late. She dumped everything.

"Jeez Natsu. I thought you and Lucy already ate." My mom said.

"We did." Lucy said. After that, she turned around and went upstairs.

"Is she OK?" My mom asked.

"Sorta. We just came from the graveyard." I said.

"Oh, that makes sense. But you shouldn't let her sulk like that. Go cheer her up." Mom said. I nodded and walked upstairs. I saw her on my bed, liking through her album. I saw her staring at one picture in particular.

"My first actual birthday party, yet I still had no friends. Only mom, dad, and Sting. I never had friends until I came to this school and I don't want to loose them. That's why I don't want to tell them. And I'm the leader of that small group. I can't just turn on them like that either." She explained.

"I'm sorry to hear that! But I'm a friend now." I said.

"Yet in the back of your mind you don't want to be my friend. You want-"

"Of course I want to be your friend!"

"Let me finish!" She said.

"In the back of your mind, you want to be more than friends. I can tell by the way you act. The way you treat me. The way you deal with my problems. That's also why your fulfilling my mothers wish. I am wrong?" She said, finally looking up at me.

"No, your not wrong. You are perfectly correct." I say.

We don't talk to each other for the rest of the night.
