🔥Natsu's P.O.V🔥

We got to City park and sat on a bench. Close behind us, there was a group of girls smack talking about their dads. I was about to get up and smack them, but Lucy caught me.

"They'll learn once their fathers leave them. Trust me. It will hit them hard." She simply said. I grunted, but sat back down.

"Levy's coming, but the others are coming as well." Lucy said. I looked up and saw all of the Nons getting out of a car. Lucy rummaged through her bag and took out another water bottle, then splashed her face. Once she dried off, she didn't look at all depressed.

"Lu~chan! We're here!" Levy said. They all stopped and looked at me.

"What's a Popular doing here?" Jellal asked.

"And next to Lucy?!" Romeo added.

"Oh, I wouldn't pay him any attention. Just a player, like the rest of them!" Lucy said. I was hurt slightly but I saw in her eyes that it hurt her to say that.

"Ugh! Well, let's get away from him them and go to the concert! Juvia can hardly wait!" Juvia complained.

"He can't leave my side. It was a dare we made." Lucy said.

"What do you mean that it was a dare?!" Romeo yelled.

"Meaning she's mine until I want to let go. Maybe about a month." I said.

"You know what Lucy... You can come with us another time. Come on guys." Jellal said. They all walked back to their car and left.

"They hate me now." Lucy whimpered.

"Well then, they're not good friends. If they were, they would've dealt with me tagging along."

"What would the Populars do?"

"Probably the same thing. That's why I don't really listen to them."

"I thought so. I wanna head back."

"Alright. Come on." I said as I helped her up. We started walking back home, but we had to pass her house because the Nons went the way we came from, and they might be watching. The ambulances and police cars were gone. Just a bunch of yellow tape around the entrance.

"Wait. I just remembered that there's one thing I want. If they didn't take it." Lucy said, breaking from my grasp. She went through the tape and paused at the door. She slowly opened it , but looked down. After a few minutes, she came out with a book.

"Now we can go back." She said as we continue to walk.
