Once upon a time, there was a blond with big, chocolate eyes who was taking all kinds of adventures in a kingdom called "Fairy Tail". Her name is Lucy Heartfilia. She was a kind, cheerful, and friendly girl, that all the characters from Fairy Tail land is her friend. She was really popular throughout the land and the far away kingdoms like Sabertooth, Blue Pegasus, and Mermaid Heel. The Fairy Tail kingdom was really big, it's as big as the continent of Africa.

Then there's this certain prince named Natsu Dragneel, a brave, helpful, and kind prince. He was popular althrough out the Fairy Tail kingdom because one time he helped people who are in danger. He has this best friend of his; a blue cat in boots. Happy was the name of the cat. The cat was no ordinary, for also it could walk, talk, fly, and handle swords. The two help the people in need together. But now, they're banded to help people.

A raven-haired guy was traveling using his horse. He's an adventurer like Lucy, and his name is Gray Fullbuster. And because he's an adventurer, he brings a bow and arrow to protect him from dangerous animals and for him to eat. He's also brave and kind like Natsu and doesn't want to see anyone crying. And he has this huge fan of him named Juvia Lockser who follows him everywhere he went. Gray don't mind, though, because he want a companion when he's travelling.

Well, Lucy was different for she's not bringing anything with her when travelling. She eats by going to the forest and picking fruits and would camp in an open space at night alone. She is a very simple person too. She wears a blue dress and black Mary Jane shoes, her hair down with a red headband in her head.

Also, a girl with red hair is on the scene. She wears armor even if she's a girl, and her name is Erza Scarlet. She always have this big and scary sword of her. She's scary, but can be friendly when you get to know her more. She's also a guardian of the palace, so better not make her mad, or else you're dead. And by the way, she also has this little crush on a certain boy she plays with when she was a child named Jellal Fernandes. She freaks out when she hear his name, and would totally lose it.

Erza is guarding a certain Fairy Tail kingdom's palace. The King is Makarov Dreyar, a grumpy yet kind man. The king's best friend, Mavis Vermillion who was the queen, was dead already. There was no replacement for the queen; King Makarov never wanted a new one. For him, the only queen was his best friend.

Never forget the fairy godmother! Who is she? Wendy Marvell! I wanted to add -ous in her last name for she's just that awesome. She's a blue-haired girl whose hair was always in a pigtail, and her blue dress was always shimmering because of the glitters. And she always have her wand at her hand. She have a companion whose name is Carla, which, by the way, is the crush of the blue exceed, Happy. Yes, it's because she's a cat like Happy, except for the fact that she's not wearing boots and that the color of her fur is white. Instead, she was wearing a pink, long dress. Her tail has a pink ribbon too.

A princess was living in a certain place at the palace of Queen of Hearts at the kingdom named Levy McGarden. She's kind and loves hearts and reading books. Her prince, Gajeel Redfox was always beside her, leading her away from harm. Gajeel Redfox has this best friend named Panther Lily, also known as Lily. He was a black cat who is surely adorable when he's small and a bit scary when in his fighting form. Prince Gajeel and Princess Levy are about to get married again months from now, and everyone from Fairy Tail kingdom is invited.

At a cute tea shop works Mirajane Strauss, a sweet, kind, and cheerful girl. But hey, she's kind and all but don't ever make her mad; she's as scary as Erza!! She works with a black dress and an apron. She loves her hobby: match-making, and is a friend of Lucy. She's also considered as Fairy Tail kingdom's match-making thief. She adores Erza, who visits her occasionally for tea and strawberry shortcake, and Jellal (who was an adventurer in different kingdoms, by the way), Gray and Juvia who often visits her for food (but her match-making process with them is incomplete), and Gajeel and Levy, who met about a year ago. And there's more! Well, any guess on her next target, huh? No one knows.

Anyways, Mirajane has a regular customer here named Cana Alberona, who just stopped drinking alcohol a few months ago, and went to drinking tea and chatting with the lovely bar maiden, Mira. She was asking Mira for a love advice for her long time crush, Bacchus. And you could say that she's completely a hopeless romantic. Bacchus only sees her as a friend, nothing more, which breaks her heart into pieces. She was yammering about this almost everyday to Mira. Well, must blame Cana; she haven't even told Bacchus about it!

Of course, there's this wicked princess of the West, Lisanna Strauss. Yep, she's the sister of Mirajane. Mira thought that her sister is lost, who was just here all along. Elfman Strauss, the brother of Mira and Lisanna, just got married to Evergreen, a brown-haired girl wearing reading glasses.

But... what if all of them meet up together? Would a friendship be formed? Will love teams be formed? Will they hate each other? And will they have their own happily-ever-after?

Yes, just as you, the one who is reading this predicted, they met up. Well, in a separate way. Remember that Mira already knew Levy and Gajeel are now together and Elfman and Evergreen? It's not yet complete. They'll meet up in a very unique way.

Gray was riding in his horse, Juvia on his back to go to Makarov's castle and to finish their mission, which was to deliver a message to the King, Makarov. On their way there, Juvia spoke. "We're finally going to meet the King! I wonder what he looks like. Is he kind or something? This would be our first time there, so we have to dress much more decently."

Gray just shrugged at her as his answer. He really doesn't care about his clothings wherever he go. Luckily, he doesn't strip. Nor change clothes. He just takes a bath if he sees a river nearby, of course minus Juvia looking. Juvia also takes a bath after Gray, and of course he musn't be looking.

It was already nighttime. They had to camp for the night. Luckily, they found a field, a clear ones. Gray set up the fire, while Juvia set up the tent. Yes, in their adventures, they sleep beside each other. After everything was set, Juvia yawned. She was already tired and sleepy. "Gray, have you ever dreamt of having your princess someday?" Juvia gushed.

"No. I've never thought of something like that. I've always focused on travelling all over the world to explore, not to find my princess." Gray murmured, setting up the camp fire. His answer made Juvia disappointed. So Gray doesn't love anybody, huh? Juvia thought to herself.

"You mean, you don't have anyone you love?" Juvia blurted out. This made Gray look at her.

"Yes, I don't have anyone I love, but I have someone I totally care about." Juvia didn't push any further and let the comfortable silence evolve. Though she was totally curious about who that someone is, she backed away already, thinking she just might piss off Gray.

She then went inside the tent. 'Someday, I wish Gray would be mine...' she thought then dozed off.

The next morning, the two went looking for food. They walked and walked until they reached a certain river, the River of Happiness.

Gray's stomach grumbled, his eyes twinkling seeing the river. Juvia tried to suppress her laugh. "You're hungry. We need to really find food." Juvia said, smiling at Gray. Gray blushed, knowing that Juvia heard the protest of his stomach.

"Okay..." was his reply.

When they found food, they ate together and went on for the mission. They traveled miles away with the horse carrying them on its back. The two reached a castle; the Dragneel's palace. They also had a mission there -- to bring the prince to his princess. The Dragneel's palace has a gigantic wall on the outside to protect the castle inside. The castle was really big and made of diamonds. Prince Natsu and Happy saw the two of them so they went outside their room to the gate.

Happy stood beside him. Prince Natsu cleared his throat. "Are you the two who would bring me to Princess Lisanna?" Yes, Prince Natsu must be married to Princess Lisanna, even if it's against his will. He knew that Princess Lisanna was sinister, but his parents arranged their marriage.

Gray and Juvia looked at the prince. "Yes. Come alongside us as we bring you to Princess Lisanna." Gray said politely, bowing a bit.

Then the four of them traveled together. As the journey continues towards Princess Lisanna's wicked palace, they chatted. Juvia and Gray was shocked to know that Natsu doesn't want to be a prince, he wanted to be an adventurer just like Gray, and that he wanted to help people. He shared stories on what a prince must do, what a prince must be like, who a prince must marry, and many more prince duties. He said he was sick and tired of being a prince. Happy was bored just like Natsu, but he can't do anything about it. Well Juvia likes Natsu's position, with his prince Gray of course. But she never told the two. It's because Gray never wanted to be a prince.

"But you can skip being a prince, dress like us adventurers, leave your palace, and travel the world, right? Oh, and help people. It's simple. You must be like Rapunzel, who escaped because she did not want to be forever locked up in the tower." Gray advised the pink-haired prince.

Natsu rolled his eyes. "Like I can do that with ten bodyguards following and observing me around. They're absolutely creepy, like I think the only thing they haven't done yet was watch me take a bath. I'm just lucky that now they don't need to follow me around because I'm going to Lisanna. But I'm still getting the feeling they're still watching me."

Juvia and Gray laughed at this. "If we can just help you escape and be with you and Happy travelling and helping people throughout the Fairy Tail kingdom... poor you.... hahaha. Well, that's just like a prince." Juvia shrugged.

When they reached Princess Lisanna's kingdom, Natsu and Happy climbed down the horse and thanked the two. "We'll visit you again some other time, Prince Natsu." Gray bowed politely again to show his respect.

"No, no. Just call me Natsu, drop the prince, it's creeping me out. We're friends already, alright? And yes, I expect the visitation of you two next time."

Natsu whispered something on Juvia that made her blush, "And I hope you two would be together when I see you next time. It's pretty obvious you like him, and I think he doesn't know it. So, good luck." Then he entered the wide gate of Princess Lisanna's kingdom.

Gray became curious of what Natsu had said to Juvia. "Hey, what did he say to you that made you blush? Is he courting you?"

Juvia's eyes widened at this and stammered. "N-no!!! H-he's not courting me or anything! He just told me that... argh! Never mind." She blushed, thinking about what Natsu told her.

Then they went to the Queen of Hearts kingdom, which was just a mile away. Lucy just reached that destination of theirs, and decided to rest for awhile infront of the gate.

"I can't believe I've reached this far. I'm so exhausted and thirsty. Add hungry and sleepy. But this is a palace, and I doubt they would ever give food or drink to someone like me. What will I do...? Maybe.. I'll sleep for awhile."

Gray and Juvia reached the castle of Makarov and saw Lucy lying in front of the gate. They thought that Lucy was dead, so they ran towards her. "Is she alright?! What happened to her? Oh no... curse this someone who killed her." Juvia panicked, running around.

"She's still alive. Look, she's still breathing. She looks, I dunno, tired and hungry to me." Gray said with a poker face, examining the blond.

Lucy, hearing some voices, woke up. "Mgnh. Huh? Who are you two? Please don't hurt me!" Lucy trembled when she saw Gray and Juvia, fearing that they might kill her. Gray and Juvia looked at each other and laughed.

Juvia said, "Hey, don't be afraid. We're not going to kill you. We just saw you here lying in front of the gate, and I thought you were dead. You were the ones who scared me. At least now I know you're alive. And uhm... are you hungry? Thirsty? Anything you need?"

"I'm.. I'm sorry for making you worried. It's just that I'm an adventurer at this place, Fairy Tail kingdom. I've got no food or drink with me when I'm traveling, eheheh. By the way, I'm Lucy Heartfilia. It's nice to meet you two. And your names are....?" Lucy spoke, smiling at the two. She was happy to meet such kind strangers.

"I'm Juvia Lockser, an adventurer too! Well, not really, I just follow Gray around. Yep, you heard his name, it's Gray Fullbuster. He's the real adventurer. I take adventures with Gray althroughout the Fairy Tail kingdom too! And hey, if you want to take adventures with us, it's ok. Right, Gray?"

Gray nodded, smiling. He pulled something out from his pocket. "Here, a magic capsule that would make your stomach full. It's just like food and drink; 2 in 1." At the mention of the words food and drink, Lucy's stomach grumbled. She blushed crimson red and did the peace sign while awkwardly smiling.

"Nah, it's okay, you don't have to be shy, we're your friends already." Juvia smiled. "And.... this capsule," she grabbed the magic capsule from Gray, "will make you full for 3 days. So just accept it. It's a gift from ours."

"Tha--"

"Who's there?" Erza interrupted coldly. She peeked from the hole of the gate. "Are the three of you the messengers who will give the sacred invitation to the king?"

At this, Lucy became confused. Messengers? These two are messengers as well?

Erza opened a bit of the huge gate easily. Lucy stared at her in awe, thinking Erza was a beautiful woman with great strength. She just dislikes Erza's way of clothing -- an armor and skirt.

"Yes. Now may we come in to give the invitation to the highest king in the Fairy Tail kingdom, Makarov?" Gray asked, his face expressionless.

"You may." Then Erza opened the gate widely. Before entering, Lucy bowed at Gray and Juvia, "Thank you very much." And then she grabbed the capsule from Juvia, smiling.

Juvia and Lucy's mouths were hanging open. They were amazed by how the castle was so amazing and beautiful. Gray seemed to not care, for he just walks towards the king's room nonchalantly led by Erza. Guess you could say he's already used to this, huh?

Makarov sat in his chair, relaxing when he saw Gray, Juvia and Lucy led by Erza. "I suppose the three of you are the ones who's gonna give me the sacred invitation?" He inquired, smiling.

Gray, Erza and Juvia bowed down before the king. Lucy, her first time being here in a castle and meeting a royalty, just stood there with a bewildered expression. "W-what?" She saw Gray, Erza and Juvia bowing. Juvia signaled her to bow down too. "Oh. Sorry." The blond muttered before bowing down. The king laughed.

"I'm guessing it's your first time here and your first time meeting a king?" Makarov asked, chuckling. "Well, it seems like it. Don't worry, it's ok. Before the three of you give the invitation, you three might wanna share a dinner with me. Erza, please join us as well." Lucy remembered the capsule she haven't eaten yet and shook her head rapidly.

"Oh no! It's ok. Really. Thanks for the invitation." she smiled awkwardly. "Besides, I'll eat soon together with my friends." She scratched the back of her head.

"No need to be polite, young lady. As I have said, you can share dinner with us. And you know that it's somewhat rude to reject such a once-in-a-lifetime offer, right?" And because Lucy forgot to swallow the capsule, her stomach grumbled. Stomach, please don't embarass me infront of my new friends and the king! Makarov, Gray, Juvia, and Erza laughed. "See? Your stomach is agreeing with me."

"Th-thanks for the offer. I appreciate it." Then she bowed at Makarov. She was feeling embarassed and gleeful at the same time, thinking that she's gonna eat finally.

"Now come follow me to the dining room. It'd be my pleasure to take in such kind and polite messengers like you three, and such a loyal and trusted guard of mine." Makarov smiled at the four of them, and the four followed Makarov to the grand dining room.

"Woah... so many food. This place is really a palace." Lucy muttered to herself quietly. The dining room was as big as a house and consisted of a long table, numerous chairs, a chandelier at the center of the room, and all kinds of food. Is the king eating all of this ALONE? she wondered to herself.

"The four of you, take your seat. Grab as many food as you want, don't be shy. Eat like a pig, it's alright. We will try to know each other while eating." Lucy and the three laughed at what Makarov said. Sure, he's a king, but he has a kind, friendly, and funny personality which makes every person in Fairy Tail kingdom love him.

Makarov pointed to Gray, saying, "You, go first. Tell everything about yourself like names, likes, dislikes, hobby and etcetera." As the king pointed to him, everyone stared at Gray who stopped eating fried chicken, and stared back at everyone.

Everyone laughed at his reaction. "Sorry, just hungry," he said as he stood up and cleared his throat, and started to introduce himself. "I am Gray Fullbuster, 17 years old, an adventurer of Fairy Tail kingdom. I love traveling, especially with a companion," Juvia's eyes lit up as he said the word companion. "and I dislike someone who's so clingy and girly." he made his voice a bit inaudible at the last words. "Thank you for listening." he bowed and everyone in the dining room clapped as he took a seat and started eating again.

"It's nice to meet you, Gray Fullbuster." Erza commented. She was already quite getting along with Lucy, Juvia, and Gray. And to think that this was her first time feeling nice...

"Yeah, me too, again." Lucy said, laughing. She was having a great time with them. Luckily, she was getting along with them by the minute.

"Thank you, Gray, and it's nice to meet you." Then suddenly, he turned to face Juvia. You're next." Makarov pointed at Juvia. Juvia nodded shyly and stood up from eating her pasta. Everyone looked at her anticipatedly as she smiled and spoke.

"Juvia Lockser. 17 years old, not really an adventurer, but just a companion of Gray. I don't really know if he considers me a pal, though."

"Hey, I consider you a pal. Look, we've already been together for so many adventures. And if I don't consider you as my pal, I must've told you I wanted to be alone." Gray said to Juvia, which made her blissful and relieved deep inside. She was happy to hear such a comment from Gray. Though she felt a little bit sad, hearing that Gray only considers her as a friend. She's already in the zone called Friendzone. Ouch.

"Okay... so as I was saying, yes, he's my PAL and his companion in his every adventure. I love taking adventures with him. I hate girls who're so clingy to my love." She paused, hoping that nobody guessed that her love that she was talking about was Gray. When she was sure no one suspected, she continued. "I also hate Gray's enemies too; I also consider them as my enemies. That's all. Thank you." she bowed and took her seat.

"Thank you, Juvia Lockser. It's an honor to meet you." Juvia just smiled at Makarov. She was happy that the king is already her friend, actually.

"Nice to meet you, Juvia! Again!" Lucy said. She was munching on green peas while smiling gracefully, her brown eyes glistening in amazement.

"You too, it was nice meeting you." Erza replied. She was now smiling, which was very unusual of her. The king thought it was rare for her to smile; he even haven't seen her smile since the day she went here! So obviously, he was at awe.

"You, the one with the blond hair and brown eyes. Please introduce yourself. I want to know things about you since you're so polite and respectful."

Lucy did as what the king told him. "Very well, your higness. I am Lucy Hearftilia, the same age as Gray and Juvia are, 17. I am an adventurer like Gray and Juvia, and I just met them earlier. Thanks to them for everything. I like the color blue, and having many friends. I dislike people who are so rude. Oh, and I also wish for a prince someday. And also... I'm very honored to meet the three of you." she giggled at the last statement.

"Well, me too! I'm very honored to meet you. I'm really lucky to find new friends like you three who are kind and friendly!" Juvia squealed. Though she was not really sure about Erza, for she finds her mysterious.

Erza flashed a smile at her too, which Lucy finds adorable and cute at the same time. "Hi, Lucy. I'm also honored to meet you. Let's be friends, shall we?" Lucy was a bit taken aback by her words, but then slowly smiled and nodded.

Gray showed Lucy a small smile and spoke after Erza. "Honored to meet you too." he told her as he bowed while sitting. He's like a quiet type of person or something. Lucy told herself, pertaining to Gray.

"I am all honored to meet all of you. Well, before I forget, let's at least let Erza introduce herself to us." Makarov said after awhile. He haven't eaten yet, for he was excited to meet all of them. And he really wanna know Erza more, because for him Erza is quite mysterious too.

Erza stood up, her face clear with confidence and dignity. Her armor clicked as she stood up, "Erza Scarlet. 17 years old. A guardian of the palace of King Makarov. I like strawberry cake and dislike disrespectful humans." Everyone -- even the king -- looked like they've seen a ghost. They never expected someone as strong as Erza to like something so.. err.. too girlish for them. They all looked at Erza with a hint of shock and amusement.

"Uhh.. what? Did I say something wrong?" she unsurely stared back at each one of them. "It's an honor to meet you guys." she added uncomfortably to break the awkward silence. Then they all laughed, wondering what'd just happened.

"Seriously? Like, what the heck?" Gray furrowed his eyebrows, smirking. Everybody laughed again, including Erza who just sat down and smiled.

"Well, honor to meet you too!" Lucy exclaimed, trying to shake hands with Erza. She thought that she was scary and all, but that was all just a thought.

"Ahahaha! Me too! Honor to meet you! I thought you're scary. But when you said you like strawberry cake and when I saw you smile and laugh, the thoughts went away. Just like that." Juvia said.

Makarov just recovered and cleared his throat. "Everyone. Thank you. It was all nice to meet the four of you." He said then bowed and everyone clapped. "Well, I think it's the time for me to introduce myself, then? Makarov Dreyar. The king of this palace; my palace. I like uhm.. loyal people and dislike... nothing. That's all. Thank you." he smiled then took a seat. Everyone clapped.

"Oh, before we forget.. here, the invitation." Juvia handed Makarov a baby blue envelope. It had a magic seal on it, which only invited guests can open.

"Well, thank you. I am inviting you four to the royal wedding of Levy and Gajeel tomorrow. Prince, Princesses, Kings, and Queens from different castles on Fairy Tail kingdom are invited." Everyone gasped. Clearly no one ever expected it coming from the king. They were shocked also because the wedding is already TOMORROW.

"N-no! It's.. okay. Really. No big deal. This dinner is too much for us already. And we're grateful for it." Gray explained. He was really not fond of parties.

"Yeah. And besides, we don't have anything to wear --"

"And about clothes, I have plenty for the four of you, yes, including you, Erza. Tuxedos, slacks, shoes, gowns, and whatever you need." Makarov interrupted Juvia. Then the five of them just stared at each other and laughed.

"You four will sleep here. Yes, again, including you, Erza. Inside the castle you'll sleep. Not outside."

"But I --"

"No buts. An order is an order. And I'm the king, so you four must follow me. Understood?"

And so you know what happened. They have no other choice but to follow the king's orders.
