I made this one shot a while ago so sorry if it's cringe worthy. I would love to hear some constructive criticism on this so I can improve on my writing skills! <3

Author's POV

It's late at night in magnolia and we currently see a pink headed figure heading towards a certain blondes house.

When the figure reaches the house, it stares at the door for a couple of seconds as if contemplating on something.

"Nah"  The figure mumbles to himself. Then he climbs up the side of the house, slowly slips the window open, and shimmies his way in.

Looking around the room he notices a tired Lucy sitting at her desk. She was to busy writing in a book to notice him.

Deciding that this was the best chance to scare her, he quickly tiptoed towards her. But before he was able to reach her, he tripped over a pile of books on the floor.

"Natsu! What are you doing here at this time of night?! And how many times have I told you if your gonna come here at least use the door!?" She exclaimed angrily.

"But I just wanted to sleep in your bed." He whined, whilst getting up.

"No way! You have your own!" She exclaimed, then she quickly grabbed the closest item, which was the book she was writing in, and threw it at him, immediately regretting it.

He caught it with ease and started examining it. It was a pink book with a title on it saying 'Lucy's Diary'.

"What's this?" Natsu said cheekily.

"N-nothing" Lucy stuttered.

        Natsu started to open the      medium sized book and opened to a random page.

    "No stop!" Lucy yelled.

"Why should I? I mean best friends get to know each others secrets right?" Natsu queried.

"Yeah, but this is different!" Lucy argued back and tried reaching for the book.

While dodging her arm, Natsu started reading out loud.

"I can't believe I love that idiot! All he does is tease me! Stupid heart, why couldn't you have fallen in love with someone who would actually love you back!" Natsu stops reading, he couldn't believe what he just read.He couldn't will himself to keep reading.

It felt like his heart had just shattered. His best friend, the girl he loved, loved someone else.

"So whose the guy you love Luce?" He tried his best to sound happy.

"A-a close friend of mine" she replied without making eye contact, then she quickly snatches the book back, and sets it on her desk.

"Well you said he would never love you right? So, then it can't be Loke, that guy adores you, and it can't be Laxus because he tried to make you his girlfriend during 'Phantom Lords' attack, and definitely can't be me because I loved you ever since 'Eisenwald' tried to attack the guild masters." Natsu said, while blushing.

He looked over at Lucy, who's face was so red it put Erza's hair to shame, she slowly started walking towards him and wrapped her arms around his muscular build.

"I-i love you too, idiot." She said shyly.

All of the sudden Natsu picked Lucy up and started to spin her around. When he finally stopped spinning, he gave her a small but sweet peck on the lips.

"So does that mean I get to sleep in your bed?"

"NO WAY!"
