Lucy's POV

I slowly pushed open the large guild doors and looked around. I was in a really bad mood. I stayed up all night writing a new chapter on my novel.

The guild was its usual disruptive place.

I made my way over to the bar. Sitting on my favorite stool I looked around the guild looking for a certain pink haired dragonslayer. I saw him alone sitting at table close to the bar, then I noticed something he was staring at me! He had dark blush cover his face and was staring at me unblinking.

When he saw me looking at him he turned away quickly and started a fight with Gray. I turned around with a slight blush on my pale cheeks. "Hey Mira!" I said Mira looked over at me while serving an already drunk Macoa. "Yes Lucy?" She asked with her soft voice. "I think there is something wrong with Natsu, he keeps on staring at me, it's creepy" I shivered saying the last word.
"Hmmmmm, maybe he wants to go on a job, oooorr he liiiiikes you" she said while smirking. " Don't copy the DAMM BLUE CAT!" I yelled. "Sorry" she said. "Hmmph" I said while crossing my arms.

"Luuuuuuce!" I turned around to see the one and only Natsu staring at me again with a slight blush covering his face.
"oh hey Natsu what's up?"I asked while turning around to face Mira again. Yeah yeah call me rude but I was really not in the mood to talk to Natsu right now. " I-I uhhhhhh" he looked away. "Yeah?" I turned back around to face him because it wasn't usual for Natsu to stutter so it must be important."Ummm" he looked around the guild nervously. "Yes?" I said while raising an eyebrow. Mira started to squeal behind me while chanting "Nalu" over and over again.
" Nalu? what's that, Mira?" I asked " oh it's nothing" she said which an evil smile on her face.

I looked back at Natsu he was blushing. Again! " umm Luce can w-we t-talk outside?" When he said that my chest felt like they had real fricking butterfly's in them. My face felt really warm. " I-I uhh s-sure" when I said that I heard a thud from behind the counter and saw Mira on the ground. I sweat dropped.

Looking back at Natsu. He was running across the guild to the doors. He stopped at the doors and said "w-well are you coming?" I nodded and started to run after him. Once we were outside he sat down under the Sakura tree. Subconsciously I sat next to him. " soooooo w-what do you need?" I said while looking down at the floor with a light blush covering my face.

Was he going to confess? Or is he going to be a dense idiot. I don't think he'll be a dense idiot. If it wasn't important than he wouldn't bring me outside. He would just ask me at the guild instead of wanting privacy.

NATSU'S POV
Idiot idiot idiot. Why can't you just say it? You love her for crying out loud! So why can't you just say it?!?

"Luce I-I uhhh" say it dammit why won't you say it!!!!

Alright here it goes....."Lucy I think your fat and should go on a diet" I clamped my right hand over my mouth. Dammit dammit dammit WHY THE H*LL DID I SAY THAT!?!? I WAS JUST GOING TO CONFESS THEN I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING STUPID AS THAT!!!

I looked over at Lucy she was starting to tear up. " L-luce t-t-that's not w-what I-I meant" I'm screwed she will probably ignore me for a while and then make up... right? Oh I hope so. I really do.

LUCY'S POV
Here I was thinking he was going to confess his love. I should've know that he was to idiotic for that. He just wanted to point out how imperfect I am. Am I really fat or is Natsu just a jerk?
I started to tear up. The man I feel so hard for just straight up told me that he thought I wasn't good enough. Alright Natsu if you wan't to play it that way. "Natsu I hate you" it hurt to say that. It hurt to lie so badly.
"W-w-what do y-you mean L-Luce?" He looked totally devastated, and I loved it. I loved to see the face he gave me when he said the worst possibly thing that could happen to me right. In. My. Face. "You heard me" I was surprised I was being so brave.

Natsu hung his head in sorrow. " Lucy that's not what I meant to say! I was being a chicken and I couldn't say it to your face. I'm sorry. I understand you hate me but I wanted to say that I love you" he looked at me hopefully. I started to straight out bawl. He liked me no loved me and I had to lie to him about me not loving him also! Dammit I am such an
a$$hole. He was just so dense that he couldn't say it out loud! I had to tell him them maybe things would work out. Hopefully. He awkwardly placed a hand on my back "L-Luce are you alright?" He asked with a concerned look on his face.

"I'm sorry I lied" I looked down completely ashamed of what I did to make the all mighty Natsu look so depressed. " what do you mean Luce?" He asked looking at me with slight hope in his eyes. " I don't hate you Natsu I-I just
w-wanted you t-to know how s-someone you l-l-love speak ill of you. I wanted you to feel the pain I felt. I'm sorry. I really do love you." His eyes that once hold so much sadness were now filled with so much joy that Anyone can see it. "Luce you just made me the happiest man in the world" he flashed me his childish grin, one of the many reasons I feel in love with the dense boy. I giggled at his words. He chuckled and jumped on top of me " KYAAAA" I screamed. He was now on top of me. He held my hands above my head. I bet my face was so red. "N-N-Natsu?" I asked visibly shacking with fear and excitement. Smirking he slowly leaned down and placed his Lips right on my pink delicate ones. At first I was shocked but after a few seconds I relaxed into the kiss. I am so lucky.
