Hello everyone! Here is a sneak peak of a possible short story that I will publish.

I don't normally post spoilers, but I have received several questions concerning my writing process.

Also! This is just a draft outline, nothing is set it stone. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, please let me know! Constructive criticism and feedback is always welcome!

N and L happily married with a child - Nashi? Layla?

L and child taken - N finds their home trashed, Smells L's blood, more than a simple cut

Guild searches endlessly for them

Cant find them anywhere for months

Spirits contract breaks

Keys disappeared- all but Aquarius broken key - no magic

Even Plue's Key - was given to child - means child died too

Spirits think they are dead and return their keys to the Guild -to give to Yukino, in L Will

"Only one reason for a broken contract"

N and the Guild mourns

Two years later

L and child still with enemies, their magic being drained, magic too low to keep contracts

L finds an opening and sends child to escape with Aqu key - use key to track her?

Put spell on key that she knows Levy can use to find her

Child goes to guild first - Levy brings her home to N

N home still depressed, back to a slob

Thinks he hallucinates child voice, sobs when he sees her, hugs and kisses

Levy gives them a moment, then explains that L is alive too

N feels guilty for not knowing, but also incredibly happy

Levy shows N Aquarius Key, sensed her magic on it, something he hasn't felt in years

Explained that Lucy sent this so they could find her, they were going to get her back

L back with the enemies, punishing her since she allowed her daughter to escape

Removed from her cell and now physically attached to the draining machine?

Evil Members think L unconscious and overhears conversation about the reason for their capture and extended stay

Leaves child at guild, N and group follow key's path to find L

Key leads them to an empty field, N remembers this field when looking for his family two years ago

Invisible dark guild in this giant grassy field, N kicks himself for missing it so long ago

Fairytail busts into the Dark Guild and find Lucy

Lucy could sense the familiar magic's before she could hear or see them-knew her family was finally here

Team splits up, know that N needs to see al alone. So they take on the bulk of the guards and powerful mages

N follows L scent, praying that he wasn't dreaming

N bursts into room, N and L eye contact, after two LONG years

Both cry, silent tears

N rages against the people who took his wife away from him for so long. L tells N not to Kill them.

N was ready to kill, for the first time. These people made him suffer, made his family suffer

Leaves them alive and releases L from the machine, she falls into him immediately

Neither one can speak, too overwhelmed by joy

Time skip back to Magnolia, now a happy family, doing regular things, happy ending.
