🔥Natsu's P.O.V🔥

"She's on a date again today. Sorry Natsu." Mira told me after I asked where Lucy was. 

"She'll be back tonight though. Come back later." She said.

"Pfft. Yeah, whatever." I said as I walked out of the guild. I had the perfect job for Lucy! It played enough rent to last her a year! 840,000! Yeah! I actually thought about how much money this was! Then I hear that she's on another date with some guy that doesn't even go to a guild! I don't even know him! I've only seen him! How do I know that he's perfect for my- I mean... Lucy! He's not good enough for Lucy!

I sat in my house for hours. It was so boring! I went back to the guild and who do I see?! Lucy with that weirdo, sitting at the bar! I can't stand to look at him!

"Hey Natsu! Mira said that you wanted to talk to me." Lucy said as she walked up to me.

"It's nothing. Just forget about it." I said walking back out. I took the job request and went to complete it by myself.

After I finished the job and got the reward, I went to we her land lady.

"She hasn't paid her rent for 3 months!" She said. I shoved the sack of money in front of her.

"840,000 exactly. Pays for her 3 missing months and 9 more months."

"Hmph. Fine. Thank you for paying." She said as she took the sack away. I walked out of the building and went to Lucy's apartment. I climbed through the window and waited.

4 hours later, she comes through the door. Alone. Crying. She sees me and runs into my chest. 

"I'm so glad you're here!" She said. I was puzzled. She didn't kick me out like she normally does. She actually wanted me to be here.

"H-hey. It's gonna be alright. What happened?' I struggled to say as I comforted her. 

"I left him! I feel so much better after leaving him!"

"But I thought you l-loved... Him." I said.

"I thought I did! But these tears, they're tears of happiness! I was such a fool! How could I possibly love him, when I loved someone else more?! I was pushing my true love away, and it hurt! So I left him, to find my true love, and tell him I love him."

"Hmph, now who's that?! It better be someone I know!" I said, a little overprotective.

"He's strong. He hates seeing me cry. He always smells like fire and ashes. And he never likes to see me with someone other than him. I just realized all of this." She explained.

"Who in the world is like that?" I asked annoyed.

"He has pink hair." She said as she played with mine.

"My hair is salmon! Not pink!" I said. She giggled and kept playing with my hair. I didn't know who she was talking about!

"Alright. He has salmon hair. Now can you guess who it is?" She asked.

"No! Just tell me who it is!" I said, getting annoyed. Then she did something I never thought would ever happen.
