🔥Natsu's P.O.V🔥
Just like last time, Lucy grabbed her stuff and left the room to who knows where. Lisanna was next to me, but she was physically closer to me today. She was nearly leaning on me when she did her work.
"Hey, do you want to eat outside for lunch?" She asked as the lunch bell rang.
"Um... I have to go find Lucy." I tried to make as an excuse.
"She's fine. She told me that she had to study for another class. Come on! You need to trust her." She pried.
". . . . Fine. . . . . ." I said after standing there and thinking. She took my hand and led me outside to a picnic table the school had in the courtyard.
"So, how did you meet Lucy?" She asked, taking out her lunch.
"I met her when I was a play boy. She was the last girl I 'played' with. The moment I saw her, I knew that she was the one for me." I said, getting a little cheesy.
"Aww... That's adorable. How'd you find out about her... You know... Depression?" She tried to say nicely.
"That's how I met her honestly. So much happened in those two small days that we first met. I can still remember those days clearly. Like when I first kissed her."
FLASHBACK
"You've ever been kissed?" I ask casually.
"No. And I could care less if you stole it or not. I'm not waiting for someone to sweep me off my weak feet." She said.
"Perfect!" I said as I slammed lips onto hers. She struggled to a good second before she gave up. I pulled away and looked at her flustered face.
FLASHBACK OVER (A/N first book, My Work)
"You were very straight toward on that." Lisanna said, shock obviously on her face.
"That's only one memory. Remember, this was only a year ago. Then there was the time I first saw her house! That made me furious!"
FLASHBACK
When I saw her living room, where she said most abuse happens in, my anger grew. When she said that her father considered hiring a rapist, it grew even more. Her room enraged me, but what pulled the trigger, was her quote that she had framed in her bathroom.
FLASHBACK OVER (A/N First book, What's Going On)
"Don't you live in that house with her?" She questioned.
"Yeah, but we've cleaned everything up since then. Other than her room which she refuses to wash away the blood." I pouted annoyed at how every time I walk into Lucy's room, I still see her blood.
"This is sort of.... Dark, and none of my business, but..... Has she ever tried..... Killing herself?" She said slowly.
". . . . yeah. . . she has." I muttered. Remembering the worst of all.
FLASHBACK
Once the bell rang to let out school, I went to Lucy's locker to get her, but she wasn't there. I figured that her class wasn't out yet, so I just waited.
And waited.
Waited.
Waited.
Waited.
I waited for 20 minutes after the bell. That's when I started to worry. I tried calling her, but it went straight to voicemail. I called my mom and dad, but they said that Lucy never went there. I was reliving this insanity all over again.
~~~~~~~~
I searched her house for over an hour, the pain in my broken leg aching like crazy. I was starting to loose hope, so I called her one more time. A second after my phone started calling, I heard Lucy's phone go off. I heard it from upstairs so I went back upstairs. I followed the sound all the way to the bookcase that hid her secret room. That's when I realized I was stupid.
I pushed the bookcase open and walked down the hallway. When I saw her...
The moment I saw Lucy in that pool of blood, I freaked. My instincts just kicked in and I carried her to the hospital.
FLASHBACKS OVER (A/N First book, first two flashbacks The Color Red; last flashback, LET ME SEE HER!!!)
". . . Does she still have depression problems?" Lisanna asked, who somehow managed to get next to me while I was visiting memory lane.
"A little, not as bad though. As you saw at our slumber party." I said, not wanting to bring it up again.
"Sorry for bringing it up." She apologized, her face really close to mine. Almost close enough to-
No one's P.O.V
All you heard from the room Lucy was in, was glass shattering on the ground, as if she had dropped a glass that she was drinking from.
