It had been a few days into Lucy's comatose state. Her physical body, still doing well, but her mental state was slowly falling apart. She normally sat alone in her mind, recalling all of the fond memories with her guild. Lucy then recalls her spirits. What have they been doing while I've been gone...?  The thought echoed throughout her dark and cold mind. 

She slowly brought her knees up to her chest, hugging them and burring her face into her knees. Lucy started to think about the worst case scenarios about her Coma. What if I never get to see my friends again..? What if I never wake up...? What if I... die...? These thoughts brought her to tears, hugging her knees a bit tighter with all the strength she could currently muster. What if I never get to see Natsu again...?  That one thought she couldn't bare imagine. She needed him, and he needed her.

Levy's POV:

"It's been 5 days... I'm really started to get worried about her..." I brought a tissue up to my eye, wiping my tears and smudged makeup away.

"Shrimp... I know you're worried, but she's strong. She'll wake up. She's one of the strongest woman I know... C'mon, if you want her to wake up sooner, you gotta be strong with her. I'm sure she misses all of us like we miss her..." Gajeel had his hand on my shoulder, gently massaging it. 

"O-ok... I'll be strong... I'll be strong for Lucy's sake..." I nodded, clenching my fist.

"That's my girl... now, let's go get some rest..." He stood up slowly, moving his hand down to reach my own, entwining his fingers with mine. 

I also stood up, looking over at my best friend's comatose body. I missed her so badly... 

After saying our farewells to Lucy, we slowly left the hospital, walking home.

Natsu's POV:

I can't believe I let this happen... I feel like such a jerk...! How could I be so stupid?! 

I punch a wall in the guild hall, everyone startled and looking at me. I let a few tears fall out of anger for myself. I walk outside of the guild without hesitation. Happy slowly floated behind me, trying to keep his distance. I walk to the hospital Lucy's in, and I go up to her room. 

Lucy Heartfilia, the door read. I sigh a bit, slowly opening the door. I look over to see her in the hospital bed, my body shaking slightly. I walk into the room carefully, and I have a seat on a chair next to her bed, taking a hold of Lucy's hand. I gently caress her hand, looking down with tears streaming from my eyes. My vision became blurry, but I could still see fairly well.

"Luce... I'm so sorry that I let this happen... I'm so sorry for being such an idiot... I'm sorry for everything I have done to you..." I mutter, but loud enough for anyone to hear. I know that she's not going to hear it, but might as well get it off my chest.

After a while of silence, I slowly got up. Happy was taking a nap on Lucy's stomach. I pet Happy softly. "Hey buddy... it's time to head out..."

"B-But... L-Lucy might get l-lonely...!" Happy whined, with tears in his eyes.

"I promise we'll come back tomorrow, Happy... I just need to rest..." Sighing, I slowly began walking towards the door, Happy following shortly behind. I reached the door handle, turning it with caution, the door creaking as it opens. 

As I take one step, a sound on Lucy's heart monitor becomes a loud, long noise. Happy had noticed this too. I slowly turn my head over to the machine that was just near the door. It was a straight line. My eyes opened wide. Tears streamed down my face. My heart shattered.

"L-Lucy...!"
