🕛During lunch with the gang (including Lisanna)🕛

"So, what's going on with Lucy exactly?" Erza brought up after sitting in silence for so long.

"Lucy and I were having an emotional talk a few days ago. She lost control of her breathing while she was crying, and she past out. I thought that we had just missed a medication, so I put her in the car to take her to the hospital. While we were driving though, she woke up and threw up so much that it couldn't have just been her not taking the medication. When the doctors looked at her, they said that her lungs were cracked." I started to explain.

"What's this thing she has with her lungs?" Lisanna asked, looking annoyed.

"She was born with lungs that weren't big enough for her body, so the more she grew, the more the lungs grew into a disformaty or something like that, causing them to stay small. Then she was also born with asthma on top of that, which caused her so much pain as a child." I explained, remembering the photo I had seen when Lucy showed me her father's room for the first time. (In the first book if you don't remember)

"Can we visit her after school?" Gray asked, for once not trying to pick a fight with me.

"I'm sure that would make her happy. By the time we get there though, she'll be on her air pump though." I said, looking at the clock and counting the third hour.

"What air pump?" Juvia asked, wincing at the name.

"Something she hates. Anyways, see you guys after school." I said right as the bel rang.

🕛Time Skip to after school🕛

"You guys ready to go?" I said as I saw everyone but Lisanna.

"Shouldn't we wait for-"

"Nope! Neither of us like Lisanna right now, so we should get going!" I said, cutting Gajeel of from his sentence.

Once we got to the hospital and checked in, I led everyone to the top floor.

"She's lucky that she gets the top floor." Levy admired.

"She hates it. She can't see anything from her window." I said, smiling slightly to myself.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" I heard Lucy scream through the door.

"Is that Lucy?!" They all asked in unison.

"Yep. I told you that she's be on her air pump now." I said, walking up to the door and getting ready to open it.

"AAAAHHHH!!!!!" I heard her scream again.

"Natsu, you go in first. Let her know that we're coming. We'll go in after a minute or so." Erza said. I nodded and walked inside. I saw Lucy on her bed, crying and grasping to the sides of her bed. I quickly sat next to her and grabbed her hand, stroking the back of it with my thumb.

"It's OK. I'm here Luce." I said right before she screamed.

"AAAHHH NATSU! IT HURTS!!!" She yelled.

" I know, but I brought some friends. Sorry that it was a bad time though." I quickly said.

"AAHH! WHO?! WHY?! AAAAHH!!" She screamed more.

"Just wait. They'll be in in a minute. Focus on your breathing right now." I said, still holding her hand as she squeezed my own as the air was forced into her. I was mentally and physically crying for my Lucy.
