Natsu's P.O.V

I entered the locker room where Fairy Tail's basketball team was meeting up. There was Gray, Gajeel, Jellal, Laxus, Freed, Bickslow, Elfman, me, an him. Sting. Just seeing him made my nose curl up.

We all got ready and headed out to the court. We did a few warm ups, then got into a mini game. Laxus, Freed, and Bickslow were against Sting, Gray, and Gajeel. I was ready to watch how Sting plays, seeing as I'm team captain, I need to, evaluate, our new little player.

They played a decent game. They came up in a tie, and it was now time to switch teams. Sting's team stayed on, while Laxus's team was replaced with me, Jellal, and Elfman.

As we played, I watched Sting's every move. I watched his timing, his posture, his attitude. Everything.

One thing that stood out was his cockiness. He was very sure of himself, and that made a lot of openings to take the ball from him.

The game came out to my small team winning by 6 points. Everyone congratulated each other as the class period came to an end, and we went back to the lockers to change back.

The bell rang and I waited outside for Lucy. Cross of people were walking past, but I paid no attention. Not until I heard,

"Friends with the Heartfilia? You sure you not using her?" The same voice and person as earlier said. I turned to try and catch their full face, but they got mixed in with the crowd of people.

"Natsu?" A soft whisper said. I turned back and saw Lucy looking down at the ground.

"What happened? Are you OK?" I asked her.

"Yeah. Just still shaken up from what he said earlier. Does he even to to this school?" She asked, still whispering.

"I can't tell. He walked away before I could see him clearly. It's annoying the crap out of me. Don't worry though. I won't let anything bad happen to you. You have my word on that." I assured her as we walked to our next class together, which...
