in the previous chapter,  "Oh, but I do. I mean every word! Lisanna Cool It!" Natsu says. He watches to see her walk away and thinks that is the end of it.

      Little does he know how wrong he is about this!

     current chapter, Lisanna turns back around!  She has a sinister look on her face.  Before Natsu or Lucy can react she pulls out a weapon!  She points it right at the both!  She continues to smirk at them with envy.  She is one crazy, and full with revenge woman!  She notices they flinch.  She sees them look at her in horror.  

          "Ha, you thought you could away with it that easily did you?  Well, if I can not have him no one can!  You do not deserve him!  No one does, but me!  He is meant to be my man!  Oh, but you could listen and just leave him alone! "  Lisanna retorts.

         "Put it down.  Drop it now!"  Natsu says.

         "Yeah, let him go!  It is me you are after anyway!  It is my fault, so just kill me and leave him be!  Please, let him go!"  Lucy pleads.

         "As if I would trust him not go turn me into the police.  No, you two die together!  Besides, this way I can always claim there was a struggle, you did not mean to kill her, but you did.  We you saw what you did.  You saw the blood on your hands you went nuts and  could stand it.  You see I will lie!  I will make everyone believe it was a murder suicide situation.  Lucy was the one to die first, then you. No one will be the wiser!"  Lisanna says.

          "What?  How could expect to get away with this?"  Natsu yells at her.

          "Do not anger here further!  Can you not see she is dangerous?  She is the one with the weapon!"  Lucy blurts out.

          "Just shut up!  Listen to your girlfriend, sit down beside her.  Then, tie her up.  Next, you do as I say, or  the girl gets it worse than you.  You have to die for the ruination of our romance. As for her she dies since she is the one who blinds you to us.  So, there!  To bad it has to end this way!  Tis a pity!  We could have been a real couple!  We could have been happy! "  Lisanna sneers.

         Natsu sits back down. He is afraid.  Lucy sits next to him. She thinks, great I did not get to tell him how I feel and now we both gonna die.  She sobs.

         Lisanna smirks, as Natsu takes the rope she gave him and ties Lucy with it.  She is happy to see at least this part he gets right.  Next, she aims and hits Lucy once in the arm.  Lucy does not say a word as blood spills from the wound.

           Natsu stands up!  "Stop this madness!  Please, I will do whatever you want!  I will even date you if that is what it takes for you not to kill us, let alone her!  you can not murder Luce!  Lis, please!"  Natsu says.

           "How very touching, but no!  Your chance to step up as a man is over!  Now you have to watch her die!  How does it feel to know you could have kept her alive and yet did not succeed?"  Lisanna sneers.  She aims the weapon again at Lucy.  

         Natsu tries to shove her away from the range of the bullets.  However, he is to much in shock, so he moves to slow.  To his horror, he hears the weapon fire more!  He looks over at Lucy and sees the gash on her arm.  He sobs.  He holds her hand and closes his eyes.

         Lucy feels him grab her hand.  She holds it tight.  She mutters, "N-Natsu, I  l-love you!"  She feels the pain. She does say another word.  She falls unconscious.  She gets hit two more times.  One is across her forehead and the last one hits her chest.  Her heart struggles to remain as it should be.

       Lisanna hits Natsu with her last bullets. One hits his foot and the other misses its goal and only grazes his arm.

         Despite the pain, he opens his eyes sees Lucy as she struggles for life, charges at Lisanna punches her hard until the empty weapon falls to the ground.  He hits her again! 

      "That is for Lucy, you took her from me !  You monster!  You traitor !  I invite you both on this trip and this is how you thank me?   First you attack her with words, then you attack her with that stupid, weapon!  She might die and its all your fault."  Natsu says clearly angry.

        Happy who hears the noise in the distant panics.  He arrives to the gruesome scene and thinks, Lucy no!  She is dead!  Oh no!  He cries and refuses to stop.

         The police arrive, arrest Lisanna for the attempt on Natsu's  life and death of  his beloved Lucy.  Natsu passes out from the shock.  He comes too a few hours later in a hospital. "Luce, where are you?"  Natsu says.

         Happy enters his room with a sad look.  "Natsu she is gone.  Lucy is dead.  Lisanna took her out!  I am so sorry.  I never should have left."  Happy says.  He sees the look Natsu gives him.

          "No, she can not be dead!  No!  I  know she is the one now, Happy!  I love her!  Tell me she is still alive, she must be!  She is not dead.  She is alive!  There must be some mistake."  Natsu says with tears in his eyes.  He so much in shock and denial due to the guilt he feels that he did not protect her as he promise to her was.  He can stand it!  What will he do?  How can he go on without her? She is his!  Luce is his girl.  He loves her!  He does not know what to say, how to act, or how to breath.

           Once more  Natsu blackens out!  Happy feels bad for his friend!  He wishes he could have done something to avoid this horrid outcome.  Only it is to late!  To late for confessions, protection and more!  What is done is done!  The danger was real!  Now, Luce is gone for good and no one can ever bring her back.  These are the thoughts that run through Happy's  head and through the head to his friend who struggles with sadness in his sleep.
