It was about to turn 6 PM... And the college was almost lifeless since students,lecturers and staff were left.... except a few!

She was still standing in the corridor with her notepad and cellphone in her hands,lost somewhere...She came out of her thoughts when she heard the tune which was coming out from college clock, indicating it's 6!

She was excited : YES!!! After long 3 days I'm gonna listen 2 K.S.

He was Karan Singhania for others,a part time singer... But for her he was the one who does magic with his voice by making her mind peaceful... Though she was not believing in love,she found his songs amazing & all songs were of love only!!! She was addicted to him when all her classmates were behind other world-class singers...

She started watching him singing live...in front of a small audience. She was looking on the screen of her cellphone,much excited. But this time K.S. was not singing a happy song... It was "sunn raha hai naa tu..."(aashiqui 2)

It did look like he was somewhat disappointed or tensed. His eyes were not that much sparkling​. This made her upset too. Though she herself never admitted she had a crush on him or at least on his singing talent...(juz crush haan.... nothing more ;) )

His energetic,amazing voice and sparkling eyes always brought positive vibes in her...she used to be energetic after listening to him. But this time, after the completion of song she was lost somewhere...Just then her phone started ringing.

"Vishal bhayya calling..."

She attended : Haan bhayya.... Kaise hain aap?

Vishal : (upset) Main kaisa hoon... it's not the matter... Cheeku, what is wrong with you ?

Naina : (sighs) So... Mrs. Meghna Kunal Chauhaan ne aapse kuch kahaa?!!

Vishal : Cheeku !!! She's​ your di... How could you do this to her ?! You didn't attend her calls from last two days !!! She asked you just to think about the proposal of...

Naina : (interrupts) No bhayya.... She asked me to meet her devar Mr.....aah....Kya naam tha uskaa...?..... ah... Some Mr.Chauhaan... and she wanted me to get settled with him as she found many qualities in him which I used to dream about "my life partner"(!)....

Naina : (continues) But bhayya.... Unfortunately I don't even remember what qualities I wanted!!! (sarcasm) In last 3 years...,I've even forgotten that I used to dream all these nonsenses​... (Stops for a while and continues) Waise bhayyaa.... Di kyon chaahti hai ki main bhi unki tarah apni life barbaad karoon?!!

Vishal : (angry) Shaadi koi barbaadi nahi hai Naina...aur haan, Gudiya is very happy with Kunal. (Calms down) And she wants you to be happy too...

Naina : Achha... Di khush hai?! Toh teek hai... Main apni zindgi mein already khush hoon... Aur khush hona nahi chaahti,main....

Vishal : (sighs) Teek hai... Tujhe jo karna hai kar lo... Par tu uski call attend zaroor karna... Voh bohot pareshaan ho rahi hai...

Naina : Teek hai bhayya... But you have to convince her not to repeat this nonsense... Tab hi main unse baat karoongi...

Vishal : Teek hai...(tries to convince) lekin Cheeku... Main kya soch raha tha ki...ek baar milne se toh koi problem nahi hoga naa uske devar se... Phir decide karna tujhe shaadi karna hai ki nahi...

Naina : (angry) Bas bhayyaa... Main rakhti hoon... Mujhe koi interest nahi hai bakwaas sunne mein !

She cut the call and threw her phone... But just then she realized, instead she has thrown her notepad and it landed on someone's head. She ​looked down to see who it was...

But she couldn't see his face as he was searching for the name of its owner.

She immediately came down to apologize... He was facing his back towards her.

Naina : I... I'm so sorry... Actually I... I didn't do it intentionally... Really sorry !

Person : Sorry se kaam nahi chalega...

She realized it as a familiar voice but didn't identify...

Naina : Then ? What should I do ?

Person : I want you to let me read what is written in it (holds her notepad upwards so that she sees it)

Naina : What ?!! No...no... I can't let u...coz...

Person : (cuts her in middle) Waise... I don't need your permission... (dramatically) It fell on my head and caused pain too... So I've full rights to know what is in it to hurt me this much !!!

Naina : But...you will get nothing by reading it...

Person : (turns his face towards her) You cannot decide it...miss Naina...

Naina : (shocked to see him and hear him calling HER name) K.S. ??!!!! You.... here ????!!!

Karan : Yeah... it's me... I'm here to meet someone (looks here and there...again turns towards her) (playfully) Autograph chaahiye? 

Naina : No... 

Karan : Why ?!! (dramatically) Don't you like me ?

Naina : I like your songs !

Karan : (laughs) It doesn't mean you don't like me...

Naina : (defending) And it doesn't mean I like you,too...

Karan : (smiles) Nice attitude haan... I like it !!!

Naina : (embarrassed) Please give my notepad back...

Karan : I'm sorry but I want to read it

Naina : (worriedly) You will make fun of me.... after reading it

Karan : I'll try not to... Now let me read

Naina : Okay... after reading please return it... I'll be waiting there at gate (turns to go)

Karan : Hey, listen... You wait here only... so that  I can clear my doubts while reading it

Naina nervously sat on the seat nearby... To her surprise Karan sat next to her... She just looked away

He started turning pages, slowly and carefully... She was expecting him to laugh at her... But she was stunned to see him reading it in such a way, it beautifully conveyed her feelings while writing it...

[The things which are given in double quotes are her thoughts written in the notepad]

"Kaash puri zindgi mein koi gaanaa background mein bajaa hotaa....toh kisi bhi yaad kahin khona nahin padta...Hameshaa humaare dil mein rehta... Nahi toh kam se kam dil ke aaspaas !!"

He smiled reading it : I agree

"Zindgi mein har ek relation less words and more understanding honaa chaahiye..."

He said nodding his head : I second that

She continued looking at him wondering someone agreed to her thoughts for first time without laughing at her...and that too K.S.!!!!

"Logonko roshni ke bina jeena nahi aata... Par mujhe andhkaar ne iss kaabil banaaya ki lights ki kami mehsoos hi nahi hote! 

Jab main andhkaar mein hoon tab mujhe roshni ki yaad aati hai...aur mirrors mere saath dete hai...

Pata hai kaise ? Mirrors naa mujhe logon ke lights ke reflections dete hai...saath saath un logon ki roshni kam nahi karte hai !!"

He thought for a while after reading it...looked at her softly and told : Mirrors kabhi toot jaate hai... Sometimes it fades...and most importantly ye reflections​ sirf tab dete hai jab aaspaas koi roshni ho... So it's not like you are living without lights... it's just that you are living without your own lights... And moreover we cannot depend on others' lights for a long time...coz they use it according to their convenience...jo hamesha hamaara kaam ka nahi hota !!!

She carefully listened to his reply which was not hurting but convincing ! 

'He's right',she thought.She had tears in her eyes which were noticed by him. So he decided to change topic. And turned the page.

"Love guru kehta hai : pyaar karnewaale kabhi nahi darte...jo darta hai woh kabhi pyaar nahi karte !

Par sach kahoon toh dar ki vajah se hi log pyaar karne lag jaate hain... Kyonki unhein duniya ko akele saamne karne se dar lagta hai!!!"

He turned next page eagerly without looking at her.

"Pyaar ek aisa chakkar hai jis mein sirf un log fas jaate hai jiske zindgi mein pyaar ki kami ho... And FORTUNATELY I'M NOT ONE OF THEM !!"

He read the next without looking at her and she was worried why he was not sharing his view about it.

"Shaadi log majboori se karte hai , marzi se nahi... Tabhi toh behanein apne ghar se , apnon ko chhod kar kisi ajnabi ke saath anjaan ghar mein rahne chali jaati hain !!"

She was still expecting him to tell something... But he was reading next one.

"Log hamdard ko tab doondte hai jab unhein lagta hai ki 'yeh dard main akele nahi seh paaungi'...

Log saath isliye rahta hai kyonki unhein akelapan se dar hai... Unhein apna confidence itnaa kam lagtha hai ki 'main akele iss duniya ko handle nahi kar paaungi'!! "

Karan stopped reading and closed her notepad since it was the last one. She was looking at him impatiently if he will tell something or not.

Karan : Yeh tum kisi ke baare mein likhi ho...yaa phir apne aap ko samjhaa rahi ho...?!!

Naina : (somewhat irritated) I just meant that I'm not a coward... Main duniya se nahi darti... that's all !

Karan : Achha...?!! Toh tum akele jeena kyon chaahti ho ?!

Naina : (with much anger almost shouts) Apnon ko khone ka dard main ek baar phir sah nahi paaungi...mujhe uss dard ka dar hai...!!

Karan : (being calm) Voh bhi ek dar hai !!!

She was shocked that she was wrong about herself,'he's right again... I'm a coward !!!???'

She was lost in her thoughts when he asked : Hamaare saath koi nahi hai toh hum budhaape(old age) mein kya karenge ?!!

She looked at him and found him so cute with an expression of a child who was asking questions one after other to elders !! She thought about his question and literally laughed.

Naina : You are justifying the concept of marriage with this !??

She laughed again... He was happy to see her laughing , she looked like an angel !

Naina : Okay listen... Iss duniya mein itne saare orphans hai ki humein aur bachhe iss duniya mein laane ki zaroorat hi nahi hai... Kisi ek ko adopt karna chaahiye humein...

He was listening to her. Her tone changed into a serious one after telling it

Naina : (serious) Aur tab naa ek alag khushi milta hai uss bachhe ko... Pata hai kyon ?! ( teary eyed) Jo kho gaya hai voh vaapas milne se bohot khushi mehsoos hota hai...,jo sirf kuch lafzon se na bataa paayegi !! Jo already hamaare paas hote hai uska importance hum kabhi samajh nahi paayenge...

She was weeping but looked away so that Karan won't see it. And he was lost in her words so failed to see her tears.

Karan : (listening carefully to her but was looking somewhere) not satisfied... Can you explain more...?!!

Naina : achha...teek hai... For example, ab humein sab saaf saaf nazar aa rahe hai naa... Phir bhi hum sab kuch nahi dekhte... Kuch dikhte hain... Kuch dikhaai nahi dete hai... Kuch hum khud dekhna nahi chaahte hai... Kuch bhagwaan humein dikhaana nahi chaahte hai...sab aisa hi chalta rahta hai...

Karan nodded.

Naina : Achaanak se ek din humaari aankhein...no... I'm sorry...not yours... Meri aankhein apna kaam karna band kar deti hai...yaani ki mujhe sirf andhera dikhaai deti hai...

Karan : ( almost shouts) ENOUGH !!!

She was startled by his sudden shout. Seeing her frightened he controlled his anger a little.

Karan : Tumhara jo example hai, bohot bura hai... Ab bakwaas band karo...

Naina : (slowly but still shocked) calm down yaar... I asked you just to imagine... Voh toh hum kar hi sakte hai... (Innocently) haina?

Karan : (melts) Achhaa, toh woh correction kyon ki ? How did our eyes became just yours ?

Naina : (sighs) Karan... I can say anything about me... Lekin kisi anjaan aadmi ke baare mein main aise nahi bol sakthi...

He was hurt listening to her, 'what does that mean ? I'm​ just an unknown for her?!! '

He stayed silent. Naina understood he was hurt and tried to cover it.

Naina : Aisa nahi hai ki tum mere liye ek ajnabi ho...

He looked at her with hope.

Naina : In fact you are one of three people jo mere dil ke kareeb hai !

He was delighted by her answer but didn't show it.

Karan : Other two ??

Naina : Bhayya and di...

Just then she realized what she has told ! 'what did i just say?!! I met him just before some time and I told him he's someone important to me !!!' , she thought.

Karan : Kahaan kho gayi ho ?

Naina came out of her thoughts.

Karan : Ab aage bataayegi ki nahi ?

Naina : Kya ?

Karan : Woh example jo tum incomplete chodi ho...

Naina : Achha... Tum hi chillaaya tha na mujhpe ? (Fake anger) Ab aage ki "bakwaas" kyon sunna chaahte ho ?!!!

Karan : Achha sorry !

Naina signed him to hold ears and he obeyed !

Naina : Ab bolo...kyon sunna chaahte ho aage ?!

Karan : (without even thinking) Kyonki ab tak tum andhkaar mein ho...main tumhein vahaan se baahar le jaana  chaahta hoon !!!

This echoed in her ears... She was touched.

Naina : Le jaana ?!!

Karan became blank...'what should I tell now ?!!', he thought.

She was looking at him for a reply and he turned away and finally told : I mean dekhna... Main tumhein andhkaar se baahar nikalte hue dekhna chaahta hoon !!

She smiled. In fact she was happy with his reply.

Naina : Achha toh teek hai... Let's continue... Jab main phir se teek ho jaaungi naa tab meri aankhein iss poori duniya ko ek alag nazar se dekhna shuru karegi... (Stop for a while and continues) Jin aankhon ko sirf kami doondne ka shauk tha unn aankhon ko har ek cheez ki khoobsoorati nazar aayegi...!!!

When she finished the sentence her tune changed and it was like weeping... It was looking like she wanted to cry her heart out... But she didn't.

Karan : (in a low,consoling voice)Tum apna dard dil pe dabaa kar kyon rakhti ho ?!! Let it come out yaar.... Nahi toh dil par bojh ban jaayega...

All of a sudden she hugged him and started crying. He was not shocked but relieved that finally she's letting everything out !

'Now she need not live with a heavy heart', he thought.

Karan : Naina... Tum jo justifcations de rahi ho voh sab sahi hai... Par jis cheez tum explain karna chaahti ho voh galat hai !

She looked up at him, still hugging him (!) 

Karan : Ek baat kahoon ? Apna hamesha apna hota hai... Jin par sirf humaara hak hai... Aur koi jataane bhi nahi aata... (Sighs) phir bhi teek hai... I may agree with you...but what if jise hum apna maanta hai voh sach mein humein aisa nahi maanta...?!! Tum jo bol rahi thi aisa laakhon mein ek hota hai... None will care for us truly like our own does !!

She listened to him while her head was resting on his heart , she felt he was speaking from heart.

She was still hugging him. 'Maybe he's right',she thought.

After a while she came back to her senses and moved away. She was wondering why he didn't hug her back and concluded as he might be a gentleman. 'Aah...but why would I think about him ?!!' She tries correcting herself.

He could sense that she was thinking about him and for a moment he became happy. Suddenly he remembered something and turned serious.

Karan : Naina...tum apni di ki baat kyon nahi maan rahi ho ?! Ek baar try toh karna chaahiye na tumhein ?

Her eyes got widened.

Naina : How do you know ?!!!!

Karan : Voh...Vishal mera bohot achha dost hai...toh...

Naina : Bhayya tumhaara dost hai ?

She was sounding very excited and happy. But the very next moment she asked : Means you know me very well before meeting me itself....right?

Karan : (smiles) yeah

She thought something and frowned.

Naina : Why does it look like you are here not to meet someone... You were lying to me,right ?

She looked a bit angry now.

Karan : (cool) Actually main yahaan tumse milne aaya hoon !

Naina : (frowns more) mujhse milne... !!!??? Kyon?!!

Karan : Main tumhein brainwash karne aaya hoon ...

She was looking on shocked.

Karan : (continues)...Tumhein yeh dikhane ki kabhi kabhi zindgi mein hamsafar ya hamdard ka hona zaroori hai...

Karan : (after thinking something) Ek minute... Kahin usne koi galti toh nahi ki ?!!

Naina looked at him like who.

Karan : I mean the one who wants to marry you... Does​ he have any bad habits ?!! Something you don't like ?!! (stops and then continues) I think he's a fraud !!

Naina : (smiling a bit) Nahi...nahi... Fraud toh nahi ho sakta... Meri di mere liye koi fraud kyon choose karegi ! And I didn't see him,yet !

Karan : C'mon yaar... He's your di's devar... He might be there in her marriage, no?

Naina : Of course he was there... But I wasn't​ !

Karan looked at her unbelievably.

Naina : I was not interested in all that... So...

Karan : KYA ?!! (Sighs) hmm... okay,fine ! Lekin kabhi toh tum ne apni di se milne gayi hogi... Tab dekhi hogi naa unke devar ko ?!

Naina : No... Main last two years se Jaipur nahi gayi... Bhayya kabhi mujhse milne aate hai... Di se video call karke baat karti rahti hoon... But not from last two days !!

Karan : (smirking) I guess because of proposal ?!!

Naina nodded with a childish smile.

Both were silent after this,lost in their thoughts...After sometime...

Naina : Tumhein bhayya ne kaha yeh sab karne ke liye ?!

Karan : Usne bhi sirf suggestion diya...par MARZI meri thi !

Her eyes widened again. 'Is this the singer Karan Singhania who is willing to interfere in my life?!!', she thought.

Naina : MARZI ?!! Why would you take interest in my matter ? 

Karan : Bas meri marzi hai yaar... Mujhe laga main khud tumse baat karoon taaki main tumhein successfully brainwash kar paaun ...!!!

Naina : Par kyon ?! 

Karan : Yaar...jitna tumhaare baare mein sunaa hoon mujhe tumse milna utna hi interesting lagaa... So I took it as a challenge !

She thought for almost 2 mins... 

Naina : Do you think you will win this challenge ?!!

He looked at her and found her not willing to lose.

Karan : (in a serious tone) See Naina... It's your life... If you really don't wanna marry then it's okay... Lekin tum apne zid ke liye shaadi nahi kar rahi hai toh... you will regret it afterwards... (Looks into her eyes) this is right time to decide , if you find that guy right...And after all no one will force you to do anything... it's up to you !!!

She listened to him and started thinking. He left the place and came back with some food for them to eat.She thanked him for bringing food.

She just looked at his caring nature, thinking : ' I should get a life partner like him. He understands so much,listens to me with much patience and most importantly he has solutions for what I consider problems !!! But how can I know whom di wants me to get married to ?!!'

They were eating silently since Karan wanted to let her think.

 After finishing he asked : Where will I get a hotel to stay ? 

Naina : Hotel is far away from here since it's a rural area....it will take around 3 hours to reach there.

Karan : No problem 

Naina thought, 'he's here not for any of his works but just to meet me... And he's like a good friend for me... So i can take him home.' 

Naina : Karan... You can stay in my home... Actually there one room is vacant

Karan : No yaar... I'll manage to go... Don't worry

Naina : No Karan... I insist !!

Karan : Yaar, tum har cheez mein aise hi zid karti ho kya ?!! (Sighs) okay then... let's go

They got in his car. On the way both were silent. Karan thought to break the silence. Just then Naina asked : Are you sure that this guy will be the Mr.perfect for me ?!!

They look at each other, to her surprise Karan looked a little disappointed. 

Karan : So... You are thinking to marry him ?!!

'What does that mean ?! Does he like me ?! No...no... I'm over thinking', Naina thought.

Karan : (sighs) Well... Will he be Mr.perfect... voh toh main nahi bataa sakta ... You have to know it by yourself 

Naina : I mean will he understand me and balance our equation when a problem comes ?!! Just like...

She stopped suddenly and he looked at her expecting her to complete the sentence.

Naina : (closes her eyes) JUST LIKE YOU !!!

He was delighted. 

Karan : (excited) ME ?!!!! Do you think I can be your Mr.perfect ?!!

She was shocked. 'Oh god!!! What did I do?!!Wait...does he want me to marry HIM ?!! Is he going to PROPOSE me ?!!' She was very confused and was unable to look at him.

He was continuously looking at her,smiling... She was sitting awkwardly looking out through the window...

To get out of this situation she put the FM on...

FM : " So...this SONG is FOR all CONFUSED LOVERS !!! 😜😍😜 "

Her eyes more widened... Karan was literally laughing inside , but outside he reduced it just in giggles... He was enjoying the moment !!!  

FM : "Piya..piyaa...

Naina looked at Karan just to see what he was doing... And found him looking at her smiling mischievously... They were looking at each other just then came the female part in the song which made her feel more awkward !!! ;) ;) ;)

Naina immediately looked away as the lines were exactly describing her current situation !! Karan giggled listening to the song while his eyes were still on Naina.

Naina was not able to take it anymore... Fortunately just then her phone started ringing...

Karan read the screen : Di calling...

She immediately put the FM off !! She thought, ' Thank you so much Di for calling now... You have no idea how you saved me !!! Love you so much !!!'

She attended the call,very next moment and started speaking too much unlike other times... Meghna was so happy to hear her Cheeku like she used to be before 3 years,when their parents were alive... Her eyes got filled with tears...and Naina understood this.She stopped her blah...blah... 

All this time Karan was looking at her through the mirror (though he managed to drive without making any problem... Expert !!!  ;) ;) ) He was wondering how she became talkative in just a minute. He was smiling because he knew that she wanted to get rid of the awkward feeling. He looked away when she stopped and concentrated on driving.

Naina : Di, yehi toh problem hai... Main aapse jab bhi zyaada baat karti hoon tab aap aise hi karti rahti hai... Kyon di ?!! (Stops and continues ) meri di ko bura lagne wajah main khud hoon,yeh main bardaash nahi kar paaungi di.... Tabhi toh main zyaada baat karna chod diya...Fine di... Main rakhti hoon...

She had tears in her eyes which she was trying not to let flow.

Karan : Naina...let it go... Tum bhool gayi maine kya kaha tha ?!!

He took the tissue with his left hand and started giving it to her one after other.

She looked at him thankfully... She looked like a baby crying for her doll... Karan wanted to hug her but stopped himself from doing so.

Soon they reached her home. She took him to his room and left saying good night.

She was not getting sleep... random thoughts came into her mind...Her mumma and pappa were a perfect couple and along with bhayya,di and herself they were a perfect family !!

She took out their family photo clicked on the last diwali with her parents and held it to her heart... She started crying  [Just like in serial,how she cried when meghna scolded her for not supporting in NK's black money case which was followed by the scene in which Karan made her smile showing cartoon on his phone 😍😍]

She cried till that moment after which her heart became light. And she got out of her room to get some water.

Just then she noticed that front door was opened and got shocked. She slowly walked out to see whether Karan is there outside or not. And she was right Karan was there on swing [The same swing in the serial where Naina waited for Karan when Meghna taken her away from Karan fearing she might get his allergy 😍😍]

She slowly walked towards him with a smile seeing guitar nearer to him, expecting him to sing after which she might get some peaceful sleep.

Karan didn't see Naina.

Karan : ( on phone) Of course maa...aap mere liye ek ladki choose kiya aur main usse shaadi naa karoon ?!! Aisa kabhi ho hi nahi saktha... (Naughty smile)

Naina was shoched. She didn't know why she felt bad when he said so.

Karan : Okay maa... Aur aap dekhna...jab aap subah aankhein kholegi naa tab main aapke saamne khada hoga... Good night

Naina was leaving without making noise so that he doesn't see her.

Karan smiled at his phone and looked up . He saw her.He got up and ran towards her worriedly, held her by shoulder.

Karan : Naina...tum... Tum teek ho ?! Kya hua ?

Naina : (tries to smile) Karan... I'm perfectly fine... Main bas...

Karan : (cuts her in middle, worriedly) Aur tumhari aankhon mein aansoo ?!!!

Naina : voh... Mujhe kuch puraani yaad aa rahi thi... Mumma...pappa...aur...(starts to weep)

Karan : Naina... Tum ne aaj bohot ro diya... (Wipes off her tears) ab jaake so jaao... Waise mujhe naa subah nikalna hai... Tum ab nahi soyegi toh main tumhein bina bataake hi chalaa jaaunga...

Naina didn't know why but she was hurt with the fact he will leave in the morning. She​ tried to smile.

Naina : Waise tum ne mujhe bataaya kyon nahi ki tumhari shaadi honewaali hai ?

Karan : (confused) Tumne meri baatein sunaa ?!!

Naina : waise jaanboojkar nahi kiya ...par

Karan was shocked and he was looking on blank.

Karan : I'm... I'm so sorry Naina... Mujhe tumhein bataana chaahiye tha...par...

Naina : (cool) Mr.Karan Singhania...iss mein regret karne ki koi baat nahi hai... Tum apni maa ki baat maan rahe ho... But be sure about what you really want !!!

Karan sighed listening to her,smiled mischievously.

Karan : Naina... Woh maa hai meri... Koi apnon ke liye bura kaise sochegi ?!

Naina looked on thinking about her di's words.

Naina : You meant to say meri di bhi mere liye achha hi sochti hogi... Right?

Karan : Haan

They walked in silently.

Naina : (suddenly) Teek hai karan... Main di ke liye haan kar doongi...

Karan looked at her amused.

Naina : But you make sure that the girl you are gonna marry is a good one...

Karan : She's not good... Naina

He told it making a face indicating it was a wrong choice.

Naina : (shocked) Then why are you...

Karan : ( cuts her in middle) she's very good,in fact best !!! (Naughty smile) 

She smiled at him being pranked.

Karan : Ek secret boloon ? Maa jo ladki mere liye chuna hai na... Main uss ladki se bohot pehele se hi pyaar karta hoon...(winks)And nobody knows it !

She was feeling bad when he confessed his love for someone,still she smiled,said good night and left.

Karan : Good night !

Karan was sleeping peacefully but Naina couldn't.

Naina : (herself) It's okay Naina... He loves another girl since a long time... And you just met him today... He's KS and you are JUST ONE of his admirers ! Now...as he said you should give a chance for di to decide for you... At least she will be​ happy !

She closed her eyes thinking ' that girl is very lucky to get KS !!' She was jealous.

She continued trying to get sleep.

Naina heard her alarm ringing... She got out of bed and went to take bath...She was getting ready... Her hair was still wet...She looked at the clock remembering something..

Naina : (shocked) OMG!!! It's 8 already... Means Karan left without informing me... 

She ran to check and found his room opened.

'He left', she thought. Her eyes were filling with tears. Just then she heard a phone ringing...

Ringtone was instrumental version of "Toota Jo Kabhi Taara..." (Flying jatt)

She ran to see the phone. It was of Karan.

'He forgot his phone here means he will come to take it',she smiled. ' l'll show him then...' She made an angry face.

Again the phone started ringing.

"Bhabhi calling..."

She was confused whether to attend it or not. She had nothing to tell after attending. So she kept it there and was about to leave.

But it again started ringing. She was irritated with the ringtone since it was reminding her of the girl Karan loves (though she didn't see her) ! She was burning with jealousy !!

She attended the call. But before she could tell anything Karan's bhabhi started with her non-stop complaints...

"Hello Karan...Where are you ? Tumhein pata bhi nahi hai ki maa kitna pareshaan ho rahi hai... Jab tum aa nahi paaoge tab tum maa se kyon kahaa ki subah subah pahoonch jaaoge ?! Aakhir tum ho kahaan ?!!! "

Naina tried recognizing the voice, she was silent.

" Karan...ek baat bataao... Tum maa se kyon kaha ki shaadi ke liye tayyaar ho ?! Tumhein andaaza bhi hai ki Naina iss shaadi ke baare mein sunte hi kya karegi ?!! Jab main usse sirf tumse milne ke liye kahaa usne gussa hokar do din mujhse baat karna hi chod diya !!! (worries) Ab pata nahi main ek baar phir yeh kahoon toh voh kya karegi !! Karan... Tum sun rahe ho main kya keh rahi hoon ?!!! Karan...."

Naina was shocked because it was her Meghu di !!! Di ke devar Karan hai ?!! And Karan loved her only even before meeting her.... Means he was singing all those love songs THINKING ABOUT HER !!! She was happy, shocked and something else too... She stood there lost.

She came out of her world when she heard the bathroom door opening and turned around to find Karan in towel [Chalo...serial mein toh nahi dekh paayi...kamse kam yahaan toh dekhein... ;) 😉😇]

She closed her eyes, turned and screamed in embarrassment ! Karan was embarrassed too ! In between Naina touched on loudspeaker and it came out loudly !!!

" Karan... Koi ladki chillane ki aavaaz kyon aa rahi hai...Hmm...mujhe pata hai tumhare paas bolne ke liye kuch hai nahi... Tabhi toh tum tarah tarah ki aavaaz banaa rahe ho !!! Karan... Tum mujhe bataaoge ki nahin, main Naina ko kaise manaaun... Pata hai ? Maa toh yahaan shaadi ki muhurat nikalvaane ke liye pandit ji ko bulaaya hai... Karan... Hello.... Hello..."

Call got ended.

Karan was shocked that he was ​caught red-handed !! He walked towards Naina. Naina turned towards him with an angry look. (Both forgot he was still in towel)

Karan looked at her embarrassed... He was becoming blank... His plan got exposed halfway !! He was expecting to get a slap...

Naina pushed him on chest telling "tum jhute ho"

He found her not that angry he was expecting so he held her by shoulders.

Karan : Nahi...main jhoota nahi hoon... Maine kya jhoot bola ?!!

Naina jerked his hands from her shoulder. 

Naina : Tumne jhoot bola ki...

She tried to remember but didn't get any. He didn't tell her that he was her di's devar but didn't tell also that he was not that guy. And she already agreed to marry him,too !! She felt trapped in his plan.

Karan : (smirking) bolo naa...

Naina saw he was still in towel and turned away blushing.

Karan giggled and asked, teasing her : Ab bologi bhi ?!!

Naina : Ah..haan...tum jhoot hi toh bola hai ki tum... tum Karan Singhania ho (turns to look at him) jabki tum Karan Chauhan nikalaa...

Karan started walking towards her and she was walking backwards.

Karan : Maine tumse kahaa tha aisa ?!!

Naina : N...n...nahi...par tum audience ke saamne yehi naam bataa kar gaa rahe the !

Karan : Exactly !! (Still walking towards her and she,backwards) jaanna chaahti ho kyon ?! Kyonki mujhe gaana gaane ke liye inspiration apne bade maama se mila tha... Unka naam hai VISHNU​ SINGHANIA !! Iss liye main Karan Singhania bankar gaa raha hoon...

She was wondered with the fact !

Karan : (smirking) Any other lies ?

Naina : H...haan... Tumne kaha ki tum vishal bhayya ke dosth ho... Aur... aur tum ne yeh bhi kaha tha ki college mein kisi se milne ke liye aaye ho !!!

Karan : Vishal is my friend from last two years... And jahaan tak baat tumhaare college mein aane ki hai toh...(brings his face closer to her) main tumse milne hi toh aaya hoon... Kuch aur ?!!

Naina blushed hard and turned away.

Karan went close to her and slowly hugged her from behind.She shivered, turned red. Karan saw it on mirror.

Karan : (teasing) Bas itnaa hi !! Kuch aur bhi bolo naa...

Naina : K...Karan...tum yeh k...kya kar rahe ho...ch...ch...chodo mujhe !!

Karan : Chodne ke liye thodi nahi pakda hoon !

She felt good listening to him so she turned her head to look at him and found him looking at her intensely. They got lost in each others eyes. But by each passing moment his gaze was getting more and more intense. And Naina couldn't look for more since she saw his lips getting curved into a naughty smile.

She tried to escape but all in vain,he pulled her even closer.

Naina : K...k...Karan...

Her words were not coming out. Karan rested his chin on her shoulder, se shivered even more.

Karan : Waise Naina...tumne bohot achha kiya !!!

Naina looked at him questioningly,still her cheeks were red.

Karan : You have many mirrors here... that's why I can clearly see...(teasing with a naughty smile) how you are blushing !!!

Naina was more red now. She tried defending...

Naina : I'm not blushing... it's just that I'm embarrassed !

Karan : ( smirking) Achha... So you are not blushing...right?

He turned her around .

Karan : Jab tak tum sach nahi bolegi tab tak main tumhein jaane nahi doonga !!

Naina couldn't meet his eyes so she looked downwards.

Karan : (with a naughty smile) Wah Naina !!! Mujhe toh laga tha ki tum mere aankhon mein dekhne se sharmaa rahi thi... Lekin tum toh meri abs dekh rahi ho !!!

He giggled. Naina was more embarrassed by then...she pushed him with all her power,shouting : shut up Karan !!!

He again held her by waist and this time she was not able to even move,so she just closed her eyes !!

He smiled at her childish act and leaned towards her ear.

Karan : ( whispers) Kiss karoon ?!!

Her jaw dropped and eyes were about to come out...

Naina : WHAT ??!!! Leave...leave me...leave me right now...varna....varna main chillaaungi...

Karan : Achha !!! (Grinning) Toh chillaao naa...

Naina : (voice not coming out)

Karan : (smiling) Admit you are blushing... Then I'll leave you 

She was not ready to give up...so she tried pushing him.

Just then his phone rang and he took it from her hand. She took it as an opportunity to escape from his hold. She ran out of his room and he looked at her childish nature with a smile.

He then looked at screen.

"Bhabhi calling..."

He sighed,cut the call and texted her : Will reach there in 2 hours.

He then changed into dress and walked into Naina's room.

Karan : Toh chalein...?!!

Naina : (confused) Kahaan ?!

He took a few steps towards her and she took backwards till she hit the wall.

He looked into her eyes softly as if he was pleading her to go with him & promising her to be with her forever !!

Karan : Uss ghar mein jahaan tumhein mirror reflections ki zaroorat nahi padegi... Aur koi tumhein andhera mehsoos hone hi nahi dege...

Her eyes got filled with tears seeing how Karan understood what she meant by mirror reflections. 

Naina : Mujhe mirror reflections ki zaroorat kyon nahi padegi?

Karan : Kyonki wahaan maa aur papa hai jo apni doosri beti ka intzaar kar rahe hai...

Her tears started flowing out. And he wiped it off and decided to make  her smile.

Karan : And there's a cool Dadu jo apni ghar ke liye nayi grah lakshmi doond rahe hai...From last  few months he's determined to make me marry for a mistake I've done in business !! God promise... If you won't come now he will get me married to some ghoonghat waali sanskaari ladki !!!

He made a miserable face seeing which she laughed.

Karan : Aur wahaan ek di bhi hai jo apni behen se milne ke liye tadap rahi hai... Tabhi toh woh tumse kaha ki tum at least mujhse mil lo... In fact she wanted to see you !!

Naina smiled listening to him.

Karan : Aur ek jeeju hai jo kabhi apni saali se mila tak nahi...(laughs a little) phir bhi uske saath masti karne ki plans bana rahe hai ! 

Naina : (looks into his eyes, smiling) Aur koi hai kya?!! 

Karan : (looks into her eyes with love) Aur ek main hoon jo uss din tumhein apni life partner banane ka decision liya tha jis din main bhabhi se tumhare baare mein sunaa hoon !!!

She understood he was in love with her from long time !!

Naina : (playfully) So Mr.KARAN  CHAUHAN... Kyaa suna hai aap mere baare mein ?!!

Karan : Yehi ki ek ladki hai jo pyaar aur shaadi mein bharosa itna bhi nahi rakhti ki... woh apni jaan se bhi pyaari di ki shaadi mein shaamil hona bhi zaroori nahi samjhi !!

They laughed

Karan : Toh kya main tumhaari khaamoshi ko 'Haan' samjhoon ??

She nodded her head smiling... He hugged her and she hugged him back 

He held her hand and took her to his car and opened the door for her.She got in and soon he went to his side,got in and started driving.

Naina : Does di know I'm coming ?

Karan : No... (Naughty smile) I wanna see her face when she sees you with me !!!

Naina playfully punched him on his shoulder.

Tumhein logon ko shock dene ka shauk hai... Mr.Prankster !!?! , she said laughing.

Haan...voh toh hai !! , he said giggling.

And they continued with their journey.

The road was not the same all the way... Sometimes it was good... Sometimes there were speed breaker... sometimes junction...sometimes traffic jam...

The life is exactly the same ... But they had NO FEARS and NO WORRIES about anything SINCE THEY WERE TOGETHER... FOREVER !!!

I feel really sorry for those who got irritated reading this looooooooong story !! Actually it's first time I'm writing something that too on my fav NaiRan 😍...

You may find hundreds of blunders in it since I'm not that good in English and nor in Hindi !!! Sorry for that !!
