Naina sat in the jeep staring outside. Every fiber in her body burnt with the mere proximity of being next to him.  She did not want to even breathe in the same air he is in. He was a murderer...a murderer who shot her brother in cold blood.

She turned to glance at him. He was driving, looking straight ahead. Naina wondered what his parents saw in him to forgive him. How could they forgive someone who killed their son was beyond her. Nina fidgeted around in discomfort. As if his presence wasn't uncomfortable enough, she now had to hang this mangalsutra around her neck and this heavy chuda on her hands. Signs that she was now married to this monster. 

She couldn't believe her fate. In one year, how many things went wrong. Her brother's case followed by his death. Her dad's stroke. Then this wedding on his deathbed. His death. And now, she had to follow this stranger to the very place where it all began. KMA.

Naina wondered if this was the end of her life.
