sorry guys i took so long to update I am very busy at the moment hope you all can understand.

anyway here is the update hope you enjoy it.

RECAP
Arnav: "Someone is in a good mood today..."

Khushi: "I am pregnant." She whispers in his ears.

Arnav pulls out of the embrace and looks at Khushi in her eyes while she nods and places his hand on her abdomen, and she says: "You are going to be a father Arnavji." With tears in her eyes and also her lips turned in a smile this displayed happy tears not ones of sorrow.

Arnav stood dumbstruck for a few moments as the news of Khushi's pregnancy was still sinking in once he came to terms with the news, he was ecstatic. He pulled Khushi into a kiss expressing his joy over the news. They both broke apart and Arnav placed his forehead on hers and said: "Thank you so much, really thank Khushi."

Arnav holds Khushi's hand and leads her to the dining room and helps her sit down.

Khushi: "Arnavji I can sit down by myself it is okay."
Arnav: "Let me Khushi, let me pamper you and the little angel you are carrying because I want to make up for what I could not do the last time."
Lavanya: "Wait... Khushi is pregnant oh my god thank you so much I am so happy." She says as she goes and hugs Khushi and continues to say: "I can't believe I am going to be a mother. Thank you Khushi, I hope that you receive all the happiness in the world." She said as tears glistened in her eyes showing how happy this news made her.

Khushi: "Oh La don't cry please." She hugs Lavanya tighter to show some sort of comfort; as she resumes speaking: "Lavanya, Arnavji I know you are excited about the news but and we first consult with Doctor Karlsson first to make sure that this news is really positive because a pregnancy test kit can give you false results."

Arnav: "Okay I will give her offices a call to book an appointment."

Arnav calls Doctor and the receptionist informs him that there is a time slot available the same day at 13:00hrs, he books it and ends the call.

Arnav: "I made an appointment for 13:00hrs."

Lavanya: "Ok that is wonderful we can at least have breakfast and maybe have lunch out."

After breakfast...

Khushi went to the nearest bathroom as the morning sickness hit her while Arnav and Lavanya got ready for the doctor's appointment.

AT DR. KARLSSON'S OFFICE...

Receptionist: "Good afternoon sir how may I help you?"

Arnav: "I made an appointment for the 13:00 slot."

Receptionist: "Ahh... yes patient's name?"

Arnav: "Mrs Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada." Once Arnav said that both Lavanya and Khushi look at surprised and shocked.

Receptionist: "ok head-on in the doctor will be right in."

Arnav: "Thank you." He then holds Khushi's hand and gently guides her to the room." Leaving Lavanya alone.

Lavanya's POV...

"once I hear Arnavji refer to Khushi as Mrs Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada was quite upsetting as I have to share my husband, my family, my home and now his surname. I had thought that the only other person with who I will have to share his name would be our child." I say in my mind.

"But now you have to share it with another woman. Who will be the mother of his child? You slept under the same roof as them knowing that your husband was sleeping with another woman who was legally married to him. But I was all your fault so what are you going to do about it." Said the devil sitting on my left shoulder.

"You are right that she is the cause of her own misfortune of sharing her husband, but she is not doing anything against it. Khushi is now pregnant Lavanya will not do the same thing her parents did the first time. Lavanya also knows the real reason as to why she is doing all of this so don't put evil thoughts in her head." Said the angel sitting on my right shoulder.

The angel was right how can I forget about the main reason as to why I did everything. If I held on for 6 months, I could hold on for another 12 months until she gives birth to the baby and nurses the baby. I shake off those horrid thoughts and walk towards the doctor's room.

END OF LAVANYA'S POV...

Arnav, Khushi and Lavanya are now sitting and waiting for the doctor to arrive.

They all heard the door unlock and see Doctor Karlsson entering.

Doctor Karlsson: "Oh Mr and Mrs Raizada how are you both doing. Ahh, Ms Gupta how have you been."

Arya (Arnav & Lavanya): "we have been doing good doctor."

Khushi: "I have been doing good doctor."

Doctor Karlsson: "Wonderful. So, are you here for a check-up?"

Khushi: "Yeah I am and can you do a pregnancy test as well."

Doctor Karlsson: "yeah sure hop on to the exam table and we can get started."

After the examination was done Doctor Karlsson said: "I see that her health has improved tremendously since your last visit so she will be able to conceive but as I mentioned before because the first pregnancy was artificial her body can't have another artificial pregnancy because she did not have sex. But I see that I now changed so according to her pulse rate it looks like she has conceived but to make sure we will do an express pregnancy test done as well as an ultrasound."

Doctor Karlsson collects the amount of blood needed in a tube for the pregnancy test and sends it off to the lab.

Doctor Karlsson: "It will take about an hour and a half for the results to be out."

Lavanya: "Okay doctor I think we will go out for lunch and come back."

Doctor Karlsson: "Sure I will tell the receptionist to hand over the results to you if they are positive, I will see you after the next patient as she is the last one for the day."

Khushi: "Thanks doc."

They leave the doctor's office.

In the Parking lot...

Khushi walks up to the back-passenger seat and she is about to open the door, but Arnav beats her to it. He opens her door while giving her a smile that held so much tenderness and adoration. Khushi slides in with the help of Arnav and he fastens her seatbelt making sure that she is perfectly alright and safe.

Khushi: "Thank you Arnav ji but you do realise that I am not heavily pregnant, I can do this by myself self."

Arnav: "I know but I feel like doing it because you are going to be the mother of my baby. I have to make sure that you and the little one is safe at all times." He says before gently pecking her on the forehead.

While the two of them were busy Lavanya looked at them with a small smile yet she held sad eyes.

Arnav opens the door for Lavanya too he finally sits down and starts the car.

Arnav: "Khushi do you want anything in particular?"

Khushi: "yeah actually I am craving Mexican."

Lavanya: "Great there is an amazing Mexican restaurant about 15 minutes from here.'

Arnav begins driving and soon arrived at the restaurant.

They ordered the food and it came within minutes Khushi took a bit of her meal and then loaded her plate with chillies stating it was not spicy enough.

Arnav ordered dessert as well because Khushi wanted some churros.

After eating they left and was now waiting to see Doctor Karlsson as the receptionist said the doctor needed to speak to them.

Doctor Karlsson finished with her final patient for the day and calls the trio in.

Doctor Karlsson: "Congratulations MR and Mrs Raizada, Ms Gupta is expecting. She is 4 weeks into pregnancy. So, will you like to have your first ultrasound today?"

Khushi: "Yeah sure. Also doctor I started getting cravings isn't it a bit too early for that."

Doctor Karlsson: "It isn't uncommon for you to experience cravings early. So, don't worry.'

Khushi goes and lays on the exam table lifts her top and D put the gel on Khushi's belly proceeding with the ultrasound.

While leaving Doctor Karlsson's office Khushi caresses the sonogram and tears form in her eyes. She is going to experience all those feeling again.
