After some time of crying......Mullai starts talking to herself!

Mullai stands from the bed impatiently - Placed the tea tumbler from her hand on the shelf - Then went near the mirror to adjust her azhumunji into a little happy face – at least a pretended happy face!

Meanwhile, Kathir was sitting with Moorthy and talking about shop stuffs! He is hardly trying to hide his pain! He smiles, he laughs but as usual his eyes speaks more..... all about his pain!

Mullai goes out of the room with a fake happy face! She went near Moorthy and Kathir who was chit-chatting there! Kathir couldn't face her! He tries to wake up from there!

M: (to Moorthy) Mama! Kadaiku kelambithingela?

Mo: Innum illai Pa! Yen enna visyam? (turned at Kathir) Enge daa pore?

K: Athu.....Kadaiku...... (stands up)

Mo: Iru daa! Konjam nerathule onna polam! Athan Jeeva motheye kelambithane! Nambe konjam neram kalichu pogelam!

K: Illai Neh....Naa.....ippo.....

Kathir is shocked hearing this!

Mullai was waiting impatiently in the room! She sat on the bed with a sad face! 

Kathir goes in the room with a heavy heart and heavy face! He can't face her at all but he has no choice now! 

Kathir clears his throat!

K: Ehmmmmm!

Mullai turned towards him and stood up!

M: Vaa....nge! Naa......unge.....kitte......

K: (little angry) Yenna? Yenna pesanum ippo? Ethuva irunthalum....rathiri pesikelam! Naan....ippo kadaiku kelamburen! (tries to move)

M: Irunghe! (he stops) Rathiri pesikelama? Neenge raathiri......Eppo? Eppadi? Varuvinghelo? Rathiri varaikum lam ennale iruke mudiyathu Nghe! Ippove pesanum!

K: Ey! Indha! (look her sternly) Ennaku....unkitte....pese....inniyum ethuvum illai! Naan kelamburen! (tries to move again)

M: (gets furious) Nillunge Nghe! Ungeluku venum na...enkitte pese ethum illame irukalam! (sarcastically) Aama! Eppadi irukum? Athan neathe neenge evvalovo pesithingele! Aana...ippo....ennaku ....ungakitte pesiye aaganum Nghe! 

K: Athan naan neathe pesithen le? Apparom enna? Innum nee enna pesanum?

K: Athu......Naa.....

Kathir felt bad seeing her crying again!

D: ( takes the tea tumbler from Moorthy's hand) Athu......illai Mama!

Mo: Innum enna illai nollai nu? (smiles)  Innum konja nerathule...avanghe rendu perum eppadi santhosama avenghe roomlerenthu varanghe nu.....nee paarke thanne pore! Appo naan sonnathu puriyum unnaku!

D: (smiles) Appediya Mama solringhe?

Mo: Ada aama Dhanam! (laughs) Ippo naan kadaiku kelamburen! Kathire apparam vare sollu! Naan varen Dhanam!

D: Aha...seri Mama!

Moorthy left to PS Shop - Dhanam goes to the kitchen – She washed the tumbler quickly and brings some vegetables that need to be cut for cooking and sits at the hall – she sits comfortably and starts watching KM room from far....waiting to witness Moorthy's words coming true!

(Mullai can't utter a word after hearing this)

(Mullai is more shocked now) 

K: Enna appedi paarkure? Nambeleya? Kumeresan Mama kitte venum na kellu! Avaru solvaru!

M: (tears in her eyes) Ennaghe solringhe? Ennaku onnume puriyale! Puriyire maari sollunghe please! Ippedi ungeleyum kasthapadithikithu...ennaiyum kasthapaduthenuma? Pothum Nghe! Ennale..... ungele ippedi paarke mudiyele!

K: Ennakum tha unnaiye ippedi paarkeve mudiyale! (hiding his tears from her) Aana ennaiye enna panne solre? 

(Mullai could literally feel his words) 

K: Neathu....naan enna sonne nu porumaiya yosichi paaru! Appo unnake nalla puriyum! Ippo.....Naan kelamburen!

Kathir saw Dhanam sitting and waiting for him! He had to make a fake smile on his face! He walks towards her with a fake smile!

Mullai comes out of their room! She heard this conversation! She too had to put a fake smile now! Kathir saw her from far! She sees Kathir too! But Dhanam didn't see her! Mullai comes toward Kathir and Dhanam with a big fake smile!

M: Adaa aama Ka! (fake smile) Engalukule oru prachanaiyum illai!

D: Mulla! Vaa! Paarda...neeyum nalla sirichithu tha vare! Appe Mama sonnathu serithan! Naan tha....cheh! (smiles) Aama...nee inniki late ah entrichithiya enna? Unnaiye naan ippothan paarkuren!

K (mindvoice): Aiyooo ethum olarire pora!

M: Ah.....aama Ka! Nethu.....night...... (Kathir is shocked)

D: Night enna Mulla? Sandai ya?

M: Aiyoo illai Ka! (Kathir felt relieved) Naan....naa......kanavu kanden Ka! 

K (mindvoice): Ethu? Kanava? Ithu enna puthu kathaiyo? (sighs) Samalipom!

M: Aha....aama Ka! Bayathule rombe nerama...thunge mudiyele! Ivanghethan....ennaiye aruthal padithithu irunthange! Rendu perum thunge neram aachi Ka! 

Mullai turned towards Kathir and signalled him and asked........ Illainghe?

K: Aama Anni! Etho...ketha kanavu pole! Samathanam paduthi....naange paduke late aachi! Kalaile ennaku mulipu eppothum pole vanthuruchu! (smiles) Aana Mulla...appothan....nalla thungithu iruntha! Athan...naanum elupele!

Dhanam is very happy seeing them like this! All her worried was vanished!

M: Aama Ka! (smiles) Entrichi paartha...ivanghe kulichithe vanthange! Naan poiyi ivangheluku tea kude eduthu vanthu kuduthene room le! Sollunghe Nghe! (Kathir nodded yes) Aana naan tea eduke ponape....neenge kitchen le illai Ka! Athan neenge ennaiye paarkele!

K: Ah....tea! Aama! (fake smile) Naan kudichene! Apparom tha inge vanthu Anneh kitte pesithu irunthen! Naan poirupen nu nenaichu...Mullai.....irunthurukum pole! Aana inge vantha....Naan innum poleya? Athan pesanum nu....sonne le....Mulla?

M: Ah...aama Nghe! Tea kudichithu...kadaiku neram aachinu veliye poithinge! Appo pese mudiyale! Apparom veliye paartha...neenge irunthinge....athan peselama nu ulle kupthen!

K (mindvoice): Ivanghe vide maathange poleye!

D: Oh? Appediya? (smiles) Athelam bayapadathe Mulla! Onnum illai! Poiyi kulichithu.....nalla Saami kumdu! Ellam seri aagidum!

M (mindvoice): Athu seri! Enthe Saami vanthu...ithe thirukuthu nu naanum paarkeren!

K: Aama....Anneh kelambithara?

D: Aama daa! Kelambitharu! Unnaiye methuva vare sonnaru!

K: Cheri Anni! Appe...Naan kelamburen! (sees Mullai with fake smile again) Naan.....varen! 

(both their eyes was full of pain but both had to smile....a big fake smile)

M: Aha...seri Nghe! (turned towards Dhanam) Naan kulichithu varen Ka!

Kathir left to PS Shop and Mullai left to their room! 

Dhanam continue cutting the vegetables! Meena comes from her room!

Me: Yennaghe aachi? Yen Kathir ippothan kelamburaru? Mullai kuralum kettuche?

Dhanam explains whatever happens there just now!

Me: Avvalo thanna? Neenge nenaikire maarilam kandipa irukathunghe! Athan santhosama ponanghe solringhele! Freeya vidunghe! Vaange velaiye paarkeleam!

Both KM were heavy in hearts! 

Both KM were heavy in eyes! 

But still......

KM have to do all those fake smiles in front of the family!
