Scene setup:

Jai does not know that he is a Naag. Singhanias do not know that Bani and Jai are of Naag Vansh. Bani, Jai and Veer are yet to recall Satyug. Veer has proposed Meera's marriage to him out of jealously when he saw Jai and Bani together.

(This might not run as parallel to any episode in the actual story)

Veer has always been a charmer. The perfect fantasy guy- hot, confident and rich. He never really had to flirt with any girl or woo them; he had them all falling for every smirk. Where ever he went, he had girls hanging to his every word and follow him like bees. He did not care about any of them and then his sweetheart entered his life like a storm. Suddenly his perfect life wasn't so perfect anymore. This cheel fell head over heels for her but the only girl he ever felt for just had to be the only one immune to his charms and to top it all off, she had to have a bond with his rival dhabewala!

He admit he hated seeing her with him near the cave, what were they even talking about? Now he has proposed to her sister! What was he even thinking? He thought Meera would not be able to say no because of her mother and Bani would agree to marry him for her sake but it did not happen. He understood the loopholes of his plan and smacked himself internally. Bani ke mamle me tera dimag kyu nahi chalta! Veer sat down in frustration when his brothers entered his room.

Monil (M): Bhai ye kya raita failaya hai apne..

Ponky (P): Haan bhai, apko to doosri waali pasand thin a

Daksh (D): Apke choice ko kya ho gaya hai bhai? Pehle Behenji se pyaar and ab Behenji max pro se shaadi?

Veer got up at a lightning speed and caught his collar.

V: Bhai hai isliye maaf kiya, ainda zaban sambhal kr? (Patting his face) Jao ab, bye.

Sharma Household

Bani was pacing in her room. Her mind going at a speed of a bullet train. Her anger for this particular man intensifying with each passing second. Pehle Noor! Ab Meera di se shaadi? She would never let her sister marry off this shameless flirt!

Meera (M): Shaant ho jaa Bani...

B: Kaisa Meera di? Aap jaanti ho na Noor ki shaadi me kya tamasha kiya isne...Uski wajah se aaj Noor..(sobs) Mai aise insaan se aapki shaadi nahi hone doongi. Apni mana kyu nahi kiya? Kahin aapko vo pasand..?

M: Nahi Bani. Mai teri tarah use itni nafrat nahi krti but mujhe vo nahi pasand. And Noor ke saath jo hua vo galat tha..but mai mana nahi kr payi..Tu mummy ko to jaanti hi hai na.

B: Aur papa?

M: Unke pass koi wajah nahi thi Maa ko mana krne ki.

B: Noor ke saath jo kiya vo kum tha? Jai ko maara. Roadside-giri krta hai. Mere pass Noor wali baat ka saboot tha di...(Her eyes start shifting color)

M: Shaant ho jaa Bani. Noor ki shaadi me jo hua uspr maa ne papa ko hi suna diya. Kaha ladki shaadi se ek raat pehle kissi aur ke saath hogi to vo to bachayega na apne friend ko and uske baat jo sb hua vo papa ko kahan pata hai.

B: (thinks- Wajah to mai pataal se bhi nikal laungi, Saboot samet) Aap chinta mt karo di, iss 2rs admi ko to mai apka dulha banne hi nahi dungi.

Bani had spoken to Jai about her desire to expose Veer because she does not want her sister to get married to that man. She was sure he does a lot of other bad things as well. Jai agreed to help her.

Later that evening Jai told her to come over to his house.

J: Bani, mere pass ek idea hai? Aaj ek bohot badi party hai. Sheher ke kafi jaane mane log jayenge, specially business men. Mujhe bhi invite hai. Tum meri plus one bankr chalta.

B: Lekin kya fayda isse?

J: Veer and uski family pakka ayenge and aise parties me bohot kuch hota hai. Hum pictures le lenge and tum apne papa ko de dena. Vo shaadi cancel kr denge. Atleast tumhari behen to bach jayegi. Phir hum sochenge Noor ke mamle me saboot kaise jutaye. Pehle ye problem handle kare.

Bani is touched by Jai's concern for her sister and thanks him.

J: Accha, tum jao abhi meri behen ke pass se koi bhi dress lelo..Mai masks lekr aata hoon. Masquerade hai. Humare liye accha hai, Veer pechanega nahi to alert bhi nahi hoga.

Bani gets ready and come down the stairs. Her red dress slowing beautifully. Her long wavy hair, were styled in a waterfall braid and left in loose curls. She looked heavenly.

(How I imagine her dress, simple and flowy on the front and a sexy back. A little darker shade of red though)

Jai gave her a red mask and was in awe. He could not believe this was the same Bani, the simpleton. She looks straight out of every man's dreams and was sure Veer will not be able to recognize her, especially with the mask on

Bani and Jai reached the venue. They looked around and found themselves a seat at the corner. That side was dimly lit and had a view of the entire hall. They thought it was a perfect place to keep an eye on everyone and waited for Singhanias to arrive.

The cheel boys arrived a good two hours late and Jai was already yawing by then. Bani poked him they both sat alert. The boys were soon the talk of the party. Tapish went to socialize with other business men and Veer sat by the bar. The other boys busied themselves with flirting. Bani cursed her luck when she found Veer not flirting. Fatafat ek photo leti and chali jaati. She was getting irritated by the people approaching her to dance and she wanted to leave with her sister's azaadi ki chaabi as soon as she could.

Unknown to her, Veer was going through similar emotions as the girl that held his heart. He was getting irritated by the girls' advances and was restless thinking about how he should get Bani to stop Meera's marriage and get married to him instead. As another girl put a flirty finger on his arm, he glared at her, picked his glass and left for the balcony.

Shit! Where did he go? She looked at Jai and he in return offered her is hand. He took her to the dance floor and began dancing with her. His hands at her waist and hers at his chest. It felt right and wrong at the same time but she ignored the feeling. They both looked around to see if they could spot Veer who was nowhere to be seen.

Daksh grinned at his brothers as he left with the hot girl. Ponky and Monil sat at the Bar with long faces.

P: Ye ladkiyon ka koi taste hi nahi hai yahan pr.

M: Haan yr, ab use hi dekh le..floor pr. Kya lg raha hai 10 on 10! Aur saath dekh kiske ke. Langur ke haath angur.

Ponky followed his gaze and both stared at Bani unknowing of who she was. Veer entered from behind them to refill his drink and smacked their heads.

V: Kahan kho gaye dono?

P & M: Bhai vo.. (they point at Bani)

Veer looks at the woman dancing with a loser. Her back facing them as she twirled. She looked familiar. She twirled again and Veer saw a glance of her face. Sweetheart! He saw the guy which he suspected to be dhabewala excuse himself and leave. Bani was about to leave too when Veer suddenly caught her hands and signed Ponky and Monil to go after the Dhabewala.

V: Losers ke saath nachogi to aise hi floor pr akele chodkr chale jayenge...

He held her close and swayed on the floor. Bani looked around, Jai ko abhi washroom jaana tha? Veer ko bhi into ladkiyon me mere saath hi flirt krna tha? Ab mai khud picture kaise loon? Jai aye to vo hi le lega. Veer saw Ponky and Monil re-enter the hall and dragged bani towards a less crowded corner.

Bani was panicking inside. She did not want shout at him otherwise chances are he would know it is her and if the sit at the corner then Jai might not find her. Also, she did not how to reject his advances without speaking. To her surprise, Veer did not force himself on her. He simply sat her down as a cosy seat and sat next to her. He held her hand but the distance was respectable.

V: Uff! You are magic, pure magic! Did you know that?

B: (thinks) Yehi lines aati hai isko bolni, mujhe bhi magic hi bol raha us din.

He pecked her fingers and started to compliment her. Bani felt like a mush inside, Jai- long forgotten.

Suddenly Veer gave out a laugh and pulled her mask away.

V: Sweeeeetheartt!! (He spoke as if talking to a child) Tum bhi na bohot innocent ho. Mai kya apni gharwali ko pechanunga nahi?

B: (coming out of initial shock) What gharwali? (She glared at him)

V: Arey adhi hi sahi, gharwali to banogi na sweetheart. Tum chaho to poori bhi ban skti ho and ye offer sirf tumhare liye hai. (He blew a kiss at her)

B: Mere pass tumhare liye sirf saza hai, maut hai. Humari ladai me meri behen ko beech me kyu laye?

V: Humare beech me to mai kissi ko na aane doon? (He suddenly pulls her close) Tum hi laati ho uss loser, dhabewale ko humare beech me. Ussi ke saath dance kr rahi thin a..

B: Vo, Vo- (pushes him) tumhe kya matlab?

V: Mtlb hai, mtlb hai mujhe! Tumhara mera connection hai. Tbhi to mai is mask me tumhe do second me pehchan aya, ye ankhe, ye mask bhi nahi chupa skta tumhe mujhse.

B: tumhara mera sirf nafrat ka connection hai.

V: (laughs at her, then stops suddenly and looks at her intensely) Chalo issi bahane connection to mana. Waise hot to tum bohot lag rahi hoo, mujhe pata nahi tha uss sanskari, seedhi Bani ke andr ye teekhi mirchi Bani chupi hui hai.

B: tum mujhe jaante hi kahan ho and jb tk janoge tb tk bohot der ho chuki hogi

V: der to ho chuki hai sweetheart. Mai ek dum pagal ho chukka hoon...tumhare pyaar me...hmmm, sach. Tum bs ek ishara do and mai tumhe yahan se, in sab se bohot door le jaunga..agar tum kahogi to. Wrna hum yahan bhi reh skte hai. Mai kissi se bhi lad lunga tumhare liye.

B: Mujhe tumse koi wasta nahi rkhna..

V: toh mai humare liye tumse bhi lad lunga.....

Bani is speechless at this man's audacity. Propose iski behen ko kiya hai hai flirt isse kr raha hai but for some reason she felt truth in his words. She stood from there and rushed away, her plan to expose him became secondary and she ran away before her sanity left her. Veer stared after her as she left. ' I will make her mine. We belong together. Ek din tum bhi ye manogi Bani Sharma.'
