Thank you everyone for all support, love and reads. This bonus chapter in on the occasion of reaching a 100 followers on Wattpad. I started writing fan fiction on this profile a couple of months ago from scratch and its heart warming to see the reads, comments and love. Thank you. Hope you guys enjoy this bonus chapter. It is 16+ chapter.

Note: The story continues after the epilogue of Vanilicious Christmas. However, if you haven't read that book, do not worry. This can be read as a separate OS and not having read that book won't affect the understanding.

Pre-read: Veer and Bani have returned from their honeymoon trip to Finland. They went there in December end and a month has passed- full of love and happiness. Recently Veer has become really busy with office work and has been taking a lot of trips to Delhi and other cities. Bani is proud of her husband taking up responsibility with such dedication but misses him terribly during to those days. It has been a week since he is gone again and will probably come back after 10-15 days.

Unknown to Bani, Veer is planning to return early. He has worked extremely hard to have a few days completely free and is coming back to celebrate Valentine's week with the love of his life. However, he did not know that Bani's has a surprise of her own and that she had been waiting for a while to give it to him.

Date: 7 February

It was early morning. A beautiful woman was sleeping peacefully on her bed, her side empty. Sweat beads were forming on her forehead. She groaned in her sleep. She was aware that Mumbai was not cold in staring feb but she did not expect it to be this hot. Her hands shot out of the bed and towards the board on her bed side; to switch on the fan. To her surprise, a lot of flower petals began to fall on her.

Her eyes shot open as she took in the ceiling. Her mind began to race as she started to get buried in petals. She caught one with her hand and smiled- her favorite peonies. She whispered with contentment- Veer!

V: Kya Gharwali....itni jaldi pehechan liya?

Bani smiled and rose up her bed. Her husband stood with a large bouquet in his hands. About five rested on the couch behind him and many more the floor. A large heat blower stood proud at his feet explaining why she felt so hot suddenly.

 Bani didn't have time to note all this. Her hungry eyes drank in her husband. She took in the curve of his lips and his beautiful eyes. She had missed him terribly and her hormones were going haywire since the past few days. Tears welled up in eyes and she rushed into his waiting arms.

B: I missed you so so so much.

She started sobbing and Veer tries to pacify her.

V: Shhh...love, please don't cry. The plan was to make you happy. Mujhe dekhr rone lagogi to I'll have to go.

Bani grabbed his shirt and fisted her fingers in it.

B: No! You don't leave me now.

V: Sweetheart, I am all yours. Please, rona band karo and dekho to sahi. I did all this for you.

B: Thank you gharwale. Peonies are my favourite.

V: Waise aaj hai to rose day..

B: Lekin mujhe usse allergy hai..tumhe yaad tha?

V: Off course! How can I forget that? Tumse judi koi baat ho aur mai bhool jau? No chance!

Bani kissed him sweetly on the cheeks and they sat comfortably on the make shift bed at the balcony since the room was still heated. Veer told her how his days had been and she told about hers. They cuddled and rested in each others' arms.

B: I ordered roses on your Delhi address.....(veer gave her a look).....Our, I mean our address....come on! Veeranshu...I haven't even seen that house.

V: Done !

B: What?

V: Next time I go, I am taking you with me...

B: You know that is not a bad idea. Maybe I should start working...

V: You want to?

B: Yes...as your secretary...then I can accompany you everywhere. Imagine that.

Veer gulped.

V: Don't give me fantasies.

B: VEEEER!

The family met Veer at breakfast and post that, Bani got Veer a bouquet of roses that she made herself.

V: I love it gharwali. The fact that you yourself plucked flowers from our garden and made it by your own hands makes it all the more special but look at you now, red nose and sneezes...I don't like you in pain.

B: But...sniff!...its rose day...sniff!...and Ponky told me the only flowers you like are roses.

V: The only person I LOVE is you...Love overrides material liking anyway..come let's get you some medicine for it.

They spent the rest of the day loving each other.

Date: 8 February

Veer and Bani left after breakfast and went shopping. Veer shopped for Bani while she did for him. They both handed each other what they got and left for their farmhouse. They took the longer route and since it was cloudy, they enjoyed the weather and sweet talks before arriving at the house.

In the evening, both got ready. Bani wore a beautiful red saree and Veer wore the black suit.

B: I must say, you look devilishly handsome Mr. Veeranshu Singhania. Apko kisne dress kiya hai...

V: My wife (winks)

B: (blushed) My husband dressed me as well.

V: and you look like an angel in his choice of saree. However your husband wants to know something..

B: What?

V: Since you say he dressed you, even though not literally...will you let him undress you? Literally this time.

Bani blushed and kissed his cheeks.

B: we shall see...

V: Not bad sweetheart...at least it is not a no!

They both had their dinner and began to dance. In the middle of it, Veer popped on one knee, a fake rose in his mouth. Bani blushed red and tried to pick it when he moved away. She understood her husband's mind and bent down. She bought her mouth close to his and took the rose. Her pallu had shifted slightly and Veer caught her bare waist. Out of surprise at the sudden movement, Bani dropped the rose from her mouth and Veer captured her lips in his.

He got up and took her in his arms, not breaking the kiss. They would come up, gasping for air and dive right back in. The house was filled with their moans. Thanks to Veer's quick thinking of giving a holiday to the servants, the only witnesses to their passion were stars and the open sky as they made love on the terrace.

Date: 9 February

Bani woke up the next day only to find herself lost in a sea of bouquets. Only, they were chocolate bouquets. She got up excited and studied the area. 

She was very happy. Veer was observing his love from the side. She was jumping like a child and he chuckled. His voice broke her party and she gestured at him to come. Veer came with a tray of breakfast.

They fed each other. After that Veer gave her a huge box. It was full of her favorite chocolates.

B: Veeranshu! They are going to last me entire year!

Veer laughed and later they went home with her large box and a few bouquets. Even the car couldn't contain them all. Daksh and Ponky teased them both and tried to take a few chocolates but Bani refused to let them go.

Meera: Bani, dekh kitni saari hai...thodi se de degi to kya ho jayega...

B: Di!!....vo mujhe veer ne di hai na...mai aap sb ko same to same la dungi pr inhe to mai hi khaungi...

Veer smirked and everyone teased Bani. She ran to her room, blushing.

That night, when Veer came into the room, Bani was nowhere in sight. A while later, the bathroom door opened.

B: Veer...

V: (eyes closed, resting on bed) ...bolo sweetheart..

B: Maine tumhe chocolates nahi di na...

V: Koi baat nahi...

B: ab to le lo...

Veer raised his hand and Bani placed a nutella jar on his hands. He opened his eyes, frowning.

V: Ye kya Bani...aur ye toh opened Jar hai...(He looked up and he mouth flung open)

Bani was standing in front him in a lingerie. It was his favourite color- Black. She had nutella on her neck, stomach and some on her chest.

B: I have a condition though. Tum meri tarah baad me nahi kha skte..you'll..

Before Bani could finish her sentence, Veer pounced on her like the fat kid in willy wonka's factory. He sucked and nipped, devouring his wife and poured the remaining spread in her as well. After licking her dry, Veer carried her under the shower to clean his sticky face and her sticky body. They made love under the running water that drowned their moans, unsuccessfully.

Date: 10 February

Veer entered the room in the afternoon, a giant teddy bear in his hands. It was huge and had he not been a cheel, he wouldn't have been able to pick it alone with human calibre.

V: Be ready to get surprised sweetheart!

He set it on the couch and began to leave when his eyes fell on the teddy bear on the bed. It was big as well, probably 5 ft. Something.

V: aaj to tum mujhe nahi jeetogi sweetheart but I must say you have given me quite a few surprises as well. Makes me feel special. Ponky ne kaha tha ladke ladkiyon ke liye krte hai not vice versa but I love it that you too are putting efforts.

He smiled and hugged the teddy that he thought she got for him. To his shock, he felt the teddy move and snake its fluffy hands around him. Veer shrieked!

V: AAAAH!!

Bani could hold her laughter now. She took the bear-head from her head and began laughing.

B: Oh god! You should have seen your face!...the mighty cheel rajkumar....hahaha!!!

V: Not funny bani.

He began chasing her. Hearing the commotion. Meera and Tapish who were passing by entered the room. The smiled at what they saw. Veer chasing Bani who was wearing a fluffy bear suit. Her small round tail moved at she ran in the heavy suit. They stifled a laugh and left quietly, only after clicking a few pictures.

Date: 11 February

Veer woke up early and left that day.

V: Tum bohot dino se mujhse better surprise plan kr rahi ho sweetheart...aaj to mai hi jeetunga..dekh lena...

Bani woke up to an empty bed. She got ready in her yellow saree and reached downstairs. She dialled Veer's number a few times but couldn't talk to him but as the clock struck 12 in the afternoon, a servant came to her and gave her a note. It said.

I promise to love you a little more than what I did yesterday but it is probably still less than what I will feel tomorrow.

Throughout the day, someone or the other kept approaching Bani with a lot of notes. At the evening, Meera di came to her with a jar which said 101 promises. It had one last note in it.

I promise you me. There is no part of me that isn't yours, nor will it ever be. I love you sweetheart

Bani got very emotional at this. She took out all the notes and kept them in Jar and hugged it close to her heart. A hand reached out to wipe her tears that she didn't even realise had escaped her eyes.

V: I promised to never make you cry. Don't make me break that promise on the very first day.

B: Oh Veer!

She launched herself at him and hugged him tightly.

B: This is so so sweet. I love you...bohot zyada. Thank you. I promise I am all yours, my love is all yours..I love you.

She peppered sweet kissed all over his face. Veer produced a small box from his pocket and gave it to her.

B: What is it?

V: I already took your ring and you gave me another one too. You bought a ring for yourself as well so I figured no more rings....so instead of a promise ring, I offer you a promise necklace.

He opened the box to reveal a beautiful pendent. It was a silver heart with a snake and a kite engraved on it. It also opened up to a picture of them.

V: It is symbolic of our love and my heart. You will always have it.

Bani smiled and tears escaped her eyes. Veer kissed them away and made her wear it. She held it in her hands and planted a sweet kiss on his lips.

Date: 12 February

Bani woke up a little tensed. Veer had made her promise two things to him last night. First, whenever she will see him on12th, she will give him a hug and on 13th, a kiss.

B: Josh josh me haan to kr dia pr ab tera kya hoga Bani? Aaj to phir bhi thik hai lekin kr sbke saamne dikh gaya to kiss kaise karegi...

Bani rubbed her palms and took her tablets. She hide them like she had been doing the entire week so that Veer does not see them.

As promised, she gave him a hug every time she saw him that day. Though her hugs were only side hugs when their family was around, Veer would shamelessly hold her tight. Bani would blush while her devars hooted.

Date: 13 February

Bani came out of the washroom, wiping her mouth and making sure she rinsed it thoroughly. She reapplied her lipstick and was about to leave when she picked up the lipstick again and tucked it in her saree, knowing full well that she would have to re-apply it soon.

Veer was acting very cunning that day. He would leave from in front of Bani every two minutes and come back again. Due to promise, she would have to kiss him every time. Bani tried to get away with pecks on the cheeks but Veer would pull her in for a make out and she would end up reapplying the lipstick.

B: (thinks) accha hua rakh li thi..

Bani was serving lunch when Veer walked in and sat on the table. Bani served him and turned to go when he held her hand.

V: Tum kuch bhool rahi ho...

B: Veer...abhi sb hai..

V: So a promise is a promise..

B: Veeer...

V: Baani!

Bani quickly moved her eyes to see Daksh was busy with his phone and Tara were whispering amongst themselves. She turned to give him a quick kiss on the cheek when Veer turned and their lips met.

B: ( softly) beshrm..

She left and Veer smirked when his eyes met Pawan who gave him look.

P: abhi bhook baaki hai ki pet full?

Veer blushed slightly and looked down at his plate, eating in a hurry. That evening Meera and Bani went out, much to Veer and Tapish's distaste.

V: Bhai? Aapki wali ko samjhao na...meri Bani ke saath kyu gayi..

T: To tu Bani bol pehle...

B: Aap dono hume kya bologe?

V: Sweetheart? Kahan gayi thi?...

Bani and Meera gave each a smile and shook their heads

Date: 14 February

It was 14 today, their first Valentine. Veer was busy planning for the day. He wanted it to be perfect and at the same time, he felt like he was running out of ideas. He was in his room when he heard Bani throw up in the washroom.

V: Bani? Sweetheart?

B: ek second Veer.

Bani came out, slightly pale.

V: Bani kya hua hai tumhe?

B: kuch nahi veer..

V: Kya kuch nahi...sweetheart tum mujhse kuch chupa rahi ho...parson bhi tum thodi weak lg rahi thi pr mujhe laga raat ko thik se soi nahi isliye hua hai.....kuch to hai...why are you throwing up...batao mujhe..

B: Veeranshu! Aise kuch nahi hai...ek second...

Bani sat on the bed, holding her head.

V: Sweetheart? You okay? Ruko mai pani lata hoon...

He saw that water was kept on a set of drawers that were mounded to the wall behind the couch. He began to fill a glass. Meera entered, unaware of Veer's presence.

M: Bani?...sun vo ladka medicine de gaya hai...jldi le le....and subah wali dose khatam ho jaye to bol dena pehle hi...tabyat thik hai na teri ab?

V: Medicine for what?

Meera turned to see Veer. He gave her a questioning look while Meera looked at Bani and mouthed sorry!

Bani smiled and shook her head. Koi baat nahi!

V: Koi mujhe batayega? Meri gharwali kiss cheez ki dawai le rahi hai? I have the rights to know.

M: Vo...um Bani batayegi...

Meera left the room in a hurry and Veer crossed his arms.

V: Gharwali? Ye kya behaviour hai? Tum beemar ho...dawai le rahi ho aur mujhe nahi bataya?...

B: Veer suno...mai batana chahti thi...

V: Pr?...

B: please listen to me..aaj raat ko batati hoon..

Veer left angrily and Bani looked away disappointed.

Veer entered the house. He had plans for Valentines but his anger at Bani overpowered his rationale and he wasted most of the day. The moment he realized that she might be sick and was taking medicines for it, his heart clenched in fear. Being an adi naagin, Bani cannot get sick often but she was so sick, it must terrible news. Veer feared losing her but once he calmed down, he realized he should have forced her to speak instead of neglecting her in anger.

He started to go upstairs when Meera spotted him. She asked him to wait and gave him two plates of food.

M: please kha lena...aur usse bhi khila dena..

V: Usne?

M: I forced her to drink some juice and fruits pr she needs a proper meal.

V: Use kya hua hai..

M: Vo tumhe vo khud bata degi Veer...

Veer nodded and took the plates to their room. Inside, it was dimly lit and a lot of pictures were hanging from the ceiling. It was filled with helium balloon and sticking to the thick ribbon attached to them, there were pictures. Veer set the food on the table and called for Bani.

Bani gave from the washroom, wearing a red maxi dress.

B: Veeranshu!

She hugged him. Veer hugged her back.

V: Sweetheart...ab bata do please ki tumhe kya hua hai..

B: Ek baar pehle room ko do dekho..

V: Bani I am serious, You look beautiful and so does the room but agar tumhe lagta hai isse me behel jaunga then you are wrong. Please.

B: Veer!!! Please...ek baar dekh lo..meri kasam..

Veer gave her an angry look to her and went through the pictures quietly.

B: Do you remember each one of them?

V: hmm...

B: to bolo?

V: Bani...I am going through these pics but the moment I reach the last one, you will tell me what is going around.

B: Deal!

Veer gave her a look and went through all the pictures.

V: Our wedding, Tara's wedding, Navratri, diwali, our honeymoon pictures, us setting up Christmas ornaments, an ultrasound, our snow angels, us at the reindeer park........hold up! Ye kya hai?...ultrasound?

Veer studied the picture for a while. Bani looked at him with a smile. A lot of emotions went through Veer- confusion, understating and finally hope! He looked at Bani who gave him a smile and hugged him.

B: Hi papa...

Veer fell unto his knees, his mind froze. He looked at Bani with tears in his eyes. Bani nodded softly. He hugged her stomach and Bani realised by his shaking shoulders that he was sobbing slightly.

B: Veer! Love! Hey, the plan was not to make you cry.

V: Mera baccha bani...ours! I can't believe this. Tumhe kb bata chala..

B: Actually kuch din pehle I wasn't feeling well. Tum they nahi ghar pr aur mujhe chakkar aye tb Meera di took me to the doctors and we got to know that I am four weeks pregnant. I made her promise to not tell anyone before I tell you and since Valentine's was only a week, I figured I will tell you today. Kl hum ultrasound ke liye hi gaye they and the medicines were actually vitamins.

V: Bani!...sweetheart!... sweetheart sweetheart sweetheart

Then, he lifted her and began twirling her.

V: I am so happy!

B: Veeranshu! Mujhe chakkar aa rahe hai...

V: oops...I am just to happy gharwali..

B: I know Veer...I am too.

V: Waise Bani, we made love a few times after that...

B: You call that a few? I don't worry. I asked the doctor and was careful too.

V: Badi tez ho rahi ho...pooch bhi liya..

B: Veer! (blushes)

V: Thank you gharwali!...this is the best. Accha chalo bahar chalte hai..

B: Kahan..

V: surprise..

B: Lekin dinner..

V: Bahar kr lenge..

B: Pr khana hai ghar me..

V: So, mera mood hai aaj apni biwi ke saath bahar jaane aur ab to humara baby bhi sath hai..

(note: a five weeks baby isn't that developed and they cannot hear it. It cannot hear them either)

B: okay.

They went out to a wonderful and cozy restaurant and spent some time with each other. They went for a romantic stroll by the waters and sat at the shore. Bani laid her head on his shoulders and he took her hand in his. Both felt content, happy and excited at the prospect of this new phase of their life.
