Scene Setup:

You are a bubbly yet sensitive human who got married to Veeranshu Singhania. He fell in love with you at first sight and when he realized you were going to get married to a man your family wanted you to, he traded with the groom last minute and ended up marrying you.

Though you were upset with this, you are soon melting for the charms of this handsome cheel, who you think is human. Before you could understand your feelings, he disappeared and the very next day another man came in claiming to be him and the family too accepted him (Shakura has come to play Veer but you are not aadi Naagin, for you, he is a man claiming to be your husband)

'What is this daddy ji?, Tapish Bhai, Daksh, Ponky? Are you all drunk in the morning, even you bhai? Who is he? And why are you all calling him veer? This is not what Veer looks like!' You said, frustrated with your in-laws. How can they let another man claim to be Veer. Speaking of which, where was he?

The Singhanias look at each other. How do you explain to a human that her cheel husband has taken a new roop as he regained his old memories? They start getting irritated at Veer for marrying you, they feel like they are always walking on a tight rope around you, trying not to out their secret. You on the other hand, glare at the man. He was not even the same height as Veer! What is wrong with everyone-you wondered.

'Uff Sweetheart! Gharwali, Itna mat socho, tumhare is hot se face pr wrinkles aa jayenge toh mujhe bilkul accha nahi lagega' said the imposter, he moved to touch your face but you smacked away his hand. 'Waah! research karke aye ho but koi bhi sweatheart, gharwali bolkr Veeranshu nahi ban jata, samjhe na!' You then look at your in-laws 'Sabko pata nahi kya ho gya hai, aap log Veer ko aane do, tab pata chalega'

You left fuming. As you reach the top of the staircase, you look back to see Tapish consoling 'Veer' and others cheering him. This angered you more and you enter your room. You try calling Veer and find his phone on the bed side table. Strange for him to be out without a phone, you wonder. Then the imposter enters your room, he smirks at you and starts talking. You admit that his words were very much like your husband but you find it odd that he did not comment on his phone in your hand, infact, he did not even act like he recognized it.

It is night time now and the man in your room is complaining about the curtain you put up. His words deepening your doubts on him. You decide to move out to the guest room. Despite others, including Tapish Bhai saying he is your husband. You don't believe them, itni jaldi to plastic surgery bhi nahi hoti, you said. But as the day went by and Veer had not come home, you start to worry about his safety. You stay up whole night and cook up a plan.

Next day you enter the room to take you clothes. The imposter was sleeping. The same time music blasts off your phone. You shut off the alarm and pretend to talk on the phone, aware that now he too had woken up but was pretending to sleep.

'Hello?....Veer?.....Mujhe pata hi tha....Haan....Kahan?....mai abhi aayi...'

You rush outside and hide behind the cars. To your surprise, you saw him rush out with Shukla Ji, a trusted man of the Singhanias and Mayuri, Veer's friend, is also with them.

'Ye naag hote hi bewakoof h, cage pr magic tumhe krna tha Shukla, Veer iske cage se to nikal gaya..' Mayuri said.

Shukla said-'Haan pr vo mujhe nahi aata, abhi chalo...pehle pata krte hai kya hua h'

You quickly hid yourself in the back of the car and reached there. On the way you could not make much of the conversation but you were 100% sure that this man was a fake and your husband was in danger. You felt the car halt and wait for a while. Soon you got out of the car and hid behind the tree. You saw the three of them wait for another man, you could not see their faces but they entered the cave and soon came out. You understood that this is where your husband is trapped. You tried to move closer to hear what they were talking about.

'Dekh lia...khush? Is bewakoof ne pakka galat sunna hoga. Kahan se utha laye isko Shukla' he voice sounded familiar but you could not put a finger on it. You had moved a lot closer to hear better so you could not move to see, otherwise they would spot you. You stay very alert. You hear some talk about how the cage is unbreakable. Shukla then says that there is a stone in the house that is powerful enough but he is not sure where Veer kept it and that nobody can control it. They all leave. You slowly come out of your hiding and try to look into the cave, it dark and you are unable to spot the cage as your human eyes cannot make things out in that pitch dark cave. You decide to go back home and come back with some help, probably the stone-key.

You reach home and go straight to the room. You search Veer's cupboard and find nothing. You think and pass by each room. You halt at a door your never opened before. For some reason, your gut tells you to go inside and you open the door and walk down the stairs. Soon you find yourself in a store room. Books, heaps of stuff, multiple doors later, you enter a corner which is filled with jewels. You wonder who keeps things like this. Lots of precious stone are in the boxes but none felt extra ordinary. Suddenly a flaming red stone flew up from a box. You could not believe your eyes but then after seeing your best friend from childhood- Jai turn into a giant snake-this does not surprised you much. You moved towards the stone but it zapped you. You fall on the ground and look at it. Suddenly you recall that only Veer could control it. You say-'Great Stone, I do not know what you are but I do know that you have some association with Veeranshu. Please help him great stone, he is in danger. Ussey baccha lijiye' Tears fall from your eyes and you touch them, wondering about why you feel like this about your zabardasti ka husband. The stone disappeared.

Hoping that it is going to save Veer, you enter you room to take something before you leave for Veer but something happens and you feel your head getting heavy. You fall to the ground and your vision become black.

Y/Ec flutter open. You groan and get up. 'Uff! Mera sir!' You look around and find yourself in a room full of flowers and beautiful candles.

'Ye sb kya hai? Am I dreaming?' You walk around the room and see in a mirror that you are wearing a gorgeous red lehenga. The blouse is sleeveless and shimmery with just a delicate dori holding the back together. The bottom skirt is simple yet elegant. You are wearing minimal jewels and your hair is pulled back in a half hair-do and had roses in it. You look really delicate and innocent.

'Good you are awake! My darling rani, My Y/N' You turn back to loud sing-song voice and see the imposter.

'Kon ho tum?' You shout.

'Tumhara Pati Dev Veer..' You stop him from saying further, saying he is not veer. He comes close to you and you step back. He traps you between his body and the wall and holds your jaw.

'Sweetheart bolla h baby, haseen ho tum isliye dil tumhe pana chahte hai but mujhe apne us stupid veer se compare mat krna and beech me tokna mt, smjhi!' He jerks your head sideways and put his nose in your neck. Breathing your scent. It disgusts you.

'Y/N, Y/N, Y/N... Jadu ho tum...Haan to mai kya bol raha tha? Haan, to tumhara Pati Dev Veer, Jo aaj mar jayega, to tum to vidwa ho jaogi...ab aise haseena ko koi berang hone dega kya? Mai tumhe apnaunga baby, apna banaunga...and mera naam Shakura hai, asman ka raja...Mujhe to apne us pati se kabhi compare mt krna'

'Shakura-' The name leaves your lips and tears pool in Y/Ec eyes. You wipe them and start looking for a door. Nobody stops you and you don't care. People look busy preparing for a wedding, a wedding you won't let happen. You find the main and door and try to run away when you are pulled away. You don't look at the person who pulled you but at the sky. The house seems to be afloat in the sky! There are clouds in place of the ground and the moon looks so close. You glare at the girl who starts to drag you back to your room. Shakura tell you that he lives in the sky and asks the girl to stay with you till he calls.

You are taken aback by what you saw. Your head is spinning. Magic stone, flying house- nothing seems real. The only thing real was your concern for Veer and you will not let a man marry you by force. You ask the girl to get you food. She was reluctant but left after you pretended to faint. As soon as she left, you rushed to the window.

'Hey bhagwan, maine apko humesha mana hai. Mai kissi admi se shaadi nahi kr skti. Aaj agar Veer marne wala h to mai bhi jeena nahi chahti. Apka jo faisla hai mujhe manzoor hai. My life is in your hands' You jump out the window.

You body is falling. As you rip through the layers of air, your skin burns and you cry in pain. Praying for Veers's safety. Soon you see the ground. You close your eyes, ready to embrace death when you feel a strong pull. Your dupatta got stuck in the trishul and you are hanging a few feet above the ground. You try to pull at your dupatta but you cannot get a grip.

'Y/N!!!'

You look up as you hear your name. Veer! Tears pool in your eyes. Your husband is safe! He runs towards you but ends up falling.

'Veeranshu!' You shout. Your husband looks too weak. Nevertheless he is still your hero. He gets you off the trishul and still cracks a joke on your weight. You hit him weakly with one hand. Wiping your tears.

'Y/N!' You hear a voice sing out your name. Shakura! You unconsciously move closer to Veer. Shakura makes and entry.

V-'Abey tu hai kon?'

S-'Ye to mujhe poochna tha! Tu kon hai jo meri hone wali patni se chipakkar khada hai'

V-'Y/N! Shadi ki planning kr rahi ho, Pati ko bataya bhi nahi'

Before you could answer, Shakura tries to hold your hand.

V- 'Oye! Sunta nahi hai kya? Pati hoon iska. Tu apne liye koi aur doondh le. Phutt aya se'

S- 'To tu Veer hai? Tu zinda kaise hai be? Chal koi nahi, ab zinda hai to kanya Daan tu hi kr dena'

V-'Saare chipku meri kismet me hi likhe hai kya? Gharwali hai ye meri'

S- 'Ye sb naam se mujhe mat bulla, Shakura hoon mai'

V-'Shakura ya gutter ka koora, I don't care. Back off!'

Veer pushes Shakura away who then takes a half-cheel, half-human form. You stare at him in horror as he throws away Veer.

S- 'Iske liye you jumped from the window babe?'

Shakura laughs but before he can touch you. Veer stands up and despite being weak fights Shakura off you. You cannot see you husband struggle so you pick a nearby stick and hit shakura hard on the head. It gets him off balance and Veer zaps him with the stone in his pocket. Shakura falls to the ground and disappears. You stare at the spot where he was. You cannot wrap your head around all these unusual things that have happened. Veer slowly touches your shoulders.

'Y/n?' He says softly.

You turn and hug veer tightly. Your strength leaving your body. You feel weak from all the unreal things you had to deal with alone. You cry on Veer's shoulders.

V-'Shh-Sweetheart...Y/N..Shaant ho jao. Mai thik hoon. Tum Thik ho. We are safe.'

Y- 'Veer. I was so scared Veer. Isne kaha ye Veer hai. Sbse maan bhi liya...aur-'

V-'Pr tumne nahi mana...Mere liye ye kafi h'

You sob on his shoulders and his hands are rubbing soothing circles on your back.

V-'waise lg to tum bohot hot raho ho gharwali'

You become conscious of your barely clothed back and shy away from Veer.

V-'Kya hua, You have become redder than a tomato, arey ye kya, itne ansu? Pyaar ho gya hai kya mujhse? Bol do mai kissi se nahi kahunga'

You turn towards Veer but end up fainting for the second time that day.

You wake in your room. Your entire body aching. The rush to save veer and yourself had faded away and left the pain at its place. Veer entered with the first aid.

'Y/N, kitna tut-phut gayi ho mere bina, aao marham patti kr doon' Veer gently sits you at the edge and dabs antiseptic liquid on your wounds. The wounds sting you but awaz veer ke mu se aa rahi thi jaise dard use ho raha ho. You stare at him, amazed at your luck of finding such a loving man. He is safe and whatever happened, you realized you are glad that you did not marry Jai, you did not like him like that. It was something your parents wanted, not you. You were glad when Jai did not end up as your husband and though you were angry at Veer for lying, you cannot deny that you like him so much. You were glad he was safe and resolved that you will give him and this relationship a genuine chance.

You notice a wound on his head and without thinking kiss him there. Veer looks at you in shock. Color makes its way on your cheeks. You smack your head for being so stupid. Veer takes away your hands from your face. You both stare at each other. Him thank you for saving him, for silently accepting him- saying all this with his eyes. Your eyes too, shining with gratitude and love for saving you despite being so weak. You both move closer and you place your hands on his chest. He runs his fingers through your lovely Y/Hc hair. Your lips part and eyes melt into each other's. He slowly kisses your right cheek, then the left. He then kisses your chin. Slow soft kisses. You close your eyes at the feelings bubbling inside you. His hands roam freely on your neck and move towards your waist, slowly torturing you with his kisses. You move your hands to the back of this neck, relishing these new feelings.

'aah..' You bit you lip at pain the suddenly rose from the wound on your waist. Veer froze and you both stare at each other. You both say sorry at the same and then end up laughing. He gives you a long kiss on your forehead and starts dressing your wounds.

As you steal shy glances at your husband, you study his handsome face and sigh away in content. With this man by your side, you will never see a dull day.
