Veer frowned and  his eyes went to her head injury. He studied her face, the confused expression and the disturbed eyes, his own widened in fear and horror. Kahin Bani? Nahi!

V: Bani!?

B: Naam pata hai mujhe apna...

V: Tum mujhe nahi jaanti?

B: Kyun? Koi celebrity ho?

He felt a pang! She looks around the room.

B: Ye kahan hoon mai...mai to market jaa rahi thi saman lene...aapne mujhe kidnap kiya hai ?

She sprang to her feet and looked at him with doubt.

V: Kya? Kya bakwas kr rahi ho...mai tumhe kidnap kyu karunga?

B: Kiya bhi hai toh its waste...meri chachi mere badle ek futti kori nahi dengi aapko..

Her expressions fell but then she touched her forehead in pain.

V: Aram se...tumhara accident hua tha...sir pr chot hai..

B: Oh! Isliye aap mujhe yahan laye. Meri jaan bachane ke liye thank you. Pr ab I would like to leave...ek minute...maine sari kaise pehni hai?...mai to- uff

Veer heart clenched in pain. Was this his punishment? He will feel what she felt, to be forgotten by the one you love. He held his face in his hands, unable to handle this. A few tears escaped his eyes.

Bani smiled slightly and pulled his hands away.

B: Ab pata chala mujhe kaise feel hua tha? Aya swaad? .....Gharwale?

Veer looked at her through his tears. She knew him! She was only playing! He felt happy but his guilt was restricting him to feel completely at bliss.

B: Mujhe gale nahi lagaoge?

V: Bani? Mai...

B: Haan tum...aur kon?

V: Nahi, mera mtlb ..mai karu..tumhe problem to nahi hai na..

Bani didn't answer but hugged him instead. He hugged her as well. Moments later, he realized that she was shaking, he pulled away to see that she was sobbing badly. Tears were running down her face. She hugged him again and cried. She vented out all her pain, her fears and all she endured during these days. Her every word, each tear pained him. Never could he have dreamed that he would cause so much hurt to Bani. He wiped her tears while his continued to flow freely. They both wiped each other's tears away and stayed in the embrace.

V: I am so sorry love.

B: I hate sasta sorry.. ( She smiled slightly, reminding him of his own words)

V: I know but kya tumne mujhe maaf kiya?...I know I don't deserve.

B: Shhh Veeranshu...It wasn't exactly your fault. Farishte ka shrap tha...Itne strong magic se tum kaise compete krte...aur phir tumhare bhaiyon ne bhi tumhe kaha ki mai stalker hoon...so tum ek stranger ke age unki hi sunte na...It wasn't your fault..

V: I am sorry...maine tumhe kya kya nahi kahan..gold-

B: Arey...let me finish..Its not your fault that you forgot me but that doesn't mean I am not hurt. Mujhe chot pahunchi hai...yahan (she pouted)

She pointed at her heart and Veer kissed at the spot. He hugged her close.

B: Maine sunna tumne jo kahan...jb mai behosh thi

V: I know about-

B: Humara baby..(she smiled)

V: I am sorry I ruined our special moment...jb tumhe pata chala....tum mujhe share bhi nahi kr payi...aur abhi bhi...jb mujhe pata chala...tb bhi

B: Bs ab Veer...Tum bohot sorry sorry kr rahe ho...I know we went through a lot but that doesn't mean it is not special anymore. Its ours...Our baby Veeranshu!

Veer sat down on his knees and kissed her stomach. They both heard a happy laughter of baby.

V: aap khush ho na? Promise apke dad ab kabhi nahi ladenge apki mumma se..unhe hurt nahi karenge.

Veer got up.

V: Tumne mujhe itni jldi kaise maaf kr diya sweetheart?

B: Taras gayi thi ye shbd sunne ke liye....I didn't think ki ek din aisa ayega ki mai tumhare in cheesy baaton ki miss karungi..

Veer smiled.

V: Mujhe guilty feel ho raha tha, isliye pehle nahi kaha...kiss mu se ye bulau tumhe jb maine issi mu se pata nahi kya kya kaha tumse..

B: I know...pr jb mai behosh di...maine socha ki I know I suffered but tum bhi khush nahi they...kitni kashmakash me they....aur after so long ye khushiyan ayi hai to ab mai iss baat ko kheech kr aur time nahi waste krna chahti...but

V: But?

B: But that doesn't mean you will not be punished..(she smriks)

Veer smiled and spread his arms.

V: Jo hukum...banda hazir hai

Bani hit him.

V: Ouch...ye kaisi punishment hai?

Bani hit him again...

B: Vo mai decide karungi...(she began hitting him while he didn't even stop her) kaise hun? Himmat kaise hui tumhari? Kitni ladkiyon se flirt krte they....bachelor life enjoy kr rahe they...bachelor nahi ho tum!...bhool se bhi mt bhool jana...smjhe na...

Bani kept ranting and hitting him while Veer took each blow with a smile.

V: ouch...mard ko dard hota hai...gharwali..

Bani suddenly stopped and hugged him.

B: Mujhe bohot dard hua...jb tum un ladkiyon ke sath they...I ...I cannot see you with anyone..

Veer wiped her lone tear.

B: Waise I know a punishment.

V: kya?

B: Tum peechle 3-4 din se mujhe tang kr rahe they na...toh ab tumhari saza yahi hai ki agle 4 dino tk tum meri koi bhi baat nahi taloge...jaise mai kahungi...bilkul waise hi karoge. No complaints and mai tumhe kuch bhi krne ko keh skti hoon..smjhe?

V: Mai toh ye life time krne ko ready hoon

B: Nahi...(smiles) I like my cheelu that challenges me but next few days tum mere hisab se chaloge, khud ki koi manmani nahi...yahi punishment h

V: Manzoor hai Bani...sb manzoor hai.

Bani smiled and hugged him. Veer called for food in their room only and they ate it together. They spoke about all they went through. Meanwhile, Tapish was getting anxious. He did not want to break this new to the rest of the family as it wasn't his to share but he was growing restless to talk to them. Meera was getting even more impatient to know if Bani was fine but since it was so late they decided to talk tomorrow.

B: Itni late kaka ko kyu bulaya?

V: Vo wait hi kr rahe they...

B: hmm...okay

They both got in bed and Veer kept his head on her lap. He spoke to his baby and Bani smiled at her family. She was glad it was all over and behind them. Yes, their enemies still roamed free but  they were united again and it would take a whole army to take them down now. After a while, they slept in each other arms, both their souls, happy and content after a long, long time. A few days, felt like weeks.They did not know what tomorrow would bring but the fact that they would have each other's backs was enough to fill them with strength.
