Veer got up in a flash despite all the fatigue and wounds.

V: Tapish bhai? Bani ne phone kiya hai?...mujhe do..

T: Veer....(keeps a hand on Veer's shoulder) hospital se phone hai..

Veer's eyes widened as fear gripped his soul. He felt his knees give out. They got into a car as Tapish mouthed the address while trying heal as many wounds as he could. Daksh tried sitting on the other side, guilty that he caused his brother so much pain but Veer couldn't bear to be around them for now. Balwant got in instead and tried healing Veer as well. He knew Veer needed a lot of strength now.

They reached the hospital and Veer ran towards the reception.

V: My wife? Where is she?

R: excuse me sir? Can you lower your voice? This is a hospital.

V: Iski toh..

T: Veer, vo bs apna kaam kr rahi hai... (to her) ma'am, please understand. His wife was bought here earlier.

R: Today?

V: Yes...aaj...now where is she? (agitated)

R: We have had no female patients today....only an old man...can you give me her name..

Doctor: Let them be Nancy! Veer, mere saath chal. Nancy! I will be out on a lunch break now.

The doctor took them outside the hospital. He was actually Veer's friend.

V: Bhai Bani yahan hai...phone aya tha...

Dhiman (doctor): Maine hi kiya tha apne office se...vo hua yeh ki...

Flash back

Doctor Dhiman and his wife were driving towards the hospital. Both of them were cheels and doctors in the human world. They even cured supernatural creatures but that profession wasn't a busy one as these creatures can heal minor injuries themselves so they joined a hospital so as to but their knowledge to better use. They were driving when they saw a small crowd.

The couple got down to enquire when they found out that an old man had been trying to cross the street when a drunk driver started driving crazy. A woman pulled him last minute but both of them hit their heads pretty badly when they feel and fainted on spot. The driver had left.

D: Let us through, we are doctors.

Dhiman's wife, Shania recognized Bani instantly. She had seen the famous Veeranshu Singhania's wife twice at Vani wedding reception and Poyuri's engagement.

S: Ye to Bani hai...rajkumar ki patni..adi naagin.

D: Haan...inhe hospital le jana thik nahi hoga....basic tests krne honge records ke karan and reports will be very surprising to other as she is not human...ek kaam kro tum inhe ghar le jao...mai is admi ko hospital me admit krke ata hoon...veer ko bhi lete aunga..

T: Pr adi naagin hai vo...itni si chot se faint?

D: Vo to meri wife check kr rahi hai...pata chal jayega..

V: Ye sb baaten abhi zaruri hai kya?...pehle chalo..

They all left to Dhiman's house and ran straight to their in-house clinic. Veer's heart broke at the sight of his wife. She looked pale and weak, laying on the bed with her eyes closed. The stress of the past days had definitely taken a toll on her and she looked like she had lost a lot of weight. Her arms and face looked slightly thinner than they were before or maybe her stomach looked slightly large.

V: Bani!! Isse kya hua hai? Aise kaise?

S: Relax bhai...ye thik hai..

V: to ye behosh kaise hui? Aur abhi tk hosh nahi aya!...bani, utho...

S: ye normal hai...inhe weakness hai thodi..

V: Weakness hai to ye normal kaise hua....dhiman tu dekh....Bani...

S: (slightly offended) I have checked! Your wife and the baby are both fine! She is just weak...with is NORMAL for pregnancy. (calms down) please don't panic.

V: My what?

Tapish looked at Veer. His brother's face had lost all color.

V: (in mind) Oh god! What have I done? Bani was pregnant this whole time! I made her work like a maid. Hell! She even followed me around in to keep me safe while I literally pushed her away all this while when she was pregnant! Carrying our baby? No wonder I heard those sounds...It was our baby...sad that I was being awful to his mother! Such a beautiful phase of our life aur tum isse jee bhi nahi pa rahi thi...oh god! What have I done

Shania and Dhiman saw the look on Veer's face and then at each other. Understanding came to them.

S: You didn't know? Did you?

D: Sorry yr...tujhe aise pata chala...maybe bhabhi wanted to surprise you and we ruined it...

S: Or maybe even she didn't know...abhi tk unhe bhi pata na ho..

T: She knows. Vo she was feeling nauseous since a few days. Meera told me that Bani even felt faint and so she had called a doctor. Agey kya baat hui mujhe nahi pata pr maybe Bani knew and was quite because she wanted to tell Veer first.

Veer didn't say anything but went close to his wife and picked her up. He started to go when Shania handed him some supplements and asked him to give them to her with meals and he nodded. He flew away with her.

Veer entered the house with Bani still in his arms. The Singhania's tried to come near them but the look on Veer's face scared them. They did not have the courage to face him or ask him anything. Veer went straight to his room and shut it.

He placed Bani on the bed and sat on the floor besides her. He took her hand in his and stared at her.

V: Mujhe samaj nahi aa raha hai...mai tumse kya kahun...kiss mu se kahun...tumhe maine itna hurt kiya...khud se ghin aa rahi hai...I hurt you sweetheart. I feel so guilty. Aisa lg raha hai ki I don't deserve you. Because I really don't. Jb se tumne mujhe apna pyaar jatana shuru kiya hai...tb se sirf hurt hi milli hai tumhe...kash mai kbhi tumhari life me ata hi nahi...tumhe kya kuch nahi kahan maine...tum phir me mere liye mere sath rahi...I am so sorry...Aur ye...humara baby...aise time jb tumhe khush hona chahiye, bilkul stress nahi lena chahiye....waise time pr maine hi tumhe itna dukhi kiya...stress diya....I am so sorry Bani..

Veer kept going on. His guilt didn't let him stop apologizing. Eventually he got too tired and slept in the same posture.

(At mid night)

Veer opened his eyes with a jerk. He had felt a tug at his hands and looked to see it was Bani trying to pull her hands from his.

V: Bani..

Bani didn't look at him put continued to free herself from his hold.

V: I am....I am so sorry...I know mai hi kehta hoon ki I don't like sasta sorry aur maine jo kiya...uske baad toh..

Veer stopped and looked at Bani who had a very confused expression. He understood that she didn't know that he has recalled everything.

V: Mujhe sb yaad aa gaya hai.

B: um...Congratulations...?

She still looked awkward and confused.

V: Bani? Tum..

B: ek second!...Tum mera naam kaise jaante ho?
