Episode 48-49 in the series. Story is same as the actual series, just my thoughts on this weekend's episodes and how I would have proceeded because when I saw Naagin5 this weekend, I thought of many things I would have preferred different. I would try retain the current track but with the changes I want.

The Sapera was hiding behind a pillar at the Singhania Mansion, a nasty place for a snake charmer to be at but, what could he do? Pandityan was missing and he feared that she was here. He had often told her not to interfere in this story and adi naagin's lives but the woman was very attached to the adi naagin and tried to help her many times, much to his distaste. When pandit had died, and that too at the hands of a nag, he felt helpless as he could not tell anything about it to adi naagin and demand justice. However, he swore to help the wife of the man he considered like a brother.

He stayed hidded when he noticed a cheel step out. He clenched his been tightly, praying he won't spot him but cheel ki nazar bohot tez hoti h, Ponky had spotted the man. He said- baba paise chachiye kya?

Nazar tez but dimag dheere hota hai,thought sapera and pretended to be a bhikshak. Little did he know that Ponky was using a borrowed brain and acting as per the adi naag. Jai hit the sapera at the back of his head and dragged the unconscious old man away.

Bani wore the bangles, and applied sindoor. Her eyes void of emotions. She was lost in a sea of thoughts. She felt drained. Farishta had gone but he had mentioned an enemy, or will there be enemies. She was all alone and even Veeranshu wasn't by her side. Truthfully, she would have preferred him out of her battles. Nothing would please her more than knowing Veeranshu was safe and out of any fatal battle but this time he wasn't out willingly. He had forgotten her. Now, not only would he not support her but will also not let save him. He was a soft target for all her enemies now as he was unaware about all the conspiracies and wouldn't be as alert as her.

Then there was her heart. She was emotionally so drained now. She felt all alone and hearing all those hurtful things from the man she loved, pained her. She understood how he must have felt in their earlier days but he persisted and this was giving her strength to continue despite all the hurt. She felt like running away but stood her ground with all the strength she could muster.

She was dragged out of her thoughts when she heard a been being played. Her skin changed color and her inner naagin struggled to break free. Someone was calling her. It must be a very powerful snake charmer to reach her despite the distance. Her first guess was the Sapera Baba and she ran downstairs.

Jai had dragged the Sapera to an isolated place and thought of killing him as he was threat to him. He could expose his image to Bani and then his facade of being a good friend will get blown away. How she managed to trust him every time was beyond him but her foolishness was a boon to him. He was about to kill the old man but he got tricky. He began playing his been and tried to control Jai.

J- Tu mujhe vash me nahi kr skta Buddhe!

S- (plays the been and thinks) koshish to kr skta hoon aur umeed krta hoon ki tujhe tb tk kaboo rakh saku jb tk adi naagin mera paigam samajh kr yahan na aa jaye

J- Kabhi to sans foolegi buddhe, tb tu gaya.

Jai struggled to control his nag roop as his eyes changed color and hands began to involuntary lift up to dance. He began to dance and tried moving closer to the sapera. The old man understood was Jai was trying to do and began backing away when he tripped on a stone. That exact moment was enough for Jai who rushed and broke his been first.

J-Hahahahah....ab tera kya hoga...sapera?

Jai's eyes gleamed evil. He lifted the old man and smacked him down hard.

S- adi naag ke naam pr kalank h tu....tune mere dost aur uski biwi ko mara....nag hote hue bhi bholenath ke sewako ka rakshak nahi bhakshak niklta tu.

J- Aye, lecture mt de....jb mai sbse shaktishalli ban jaunga na...tere bholenath bhi mere aage matha tekenge...kuch nahi bigar payenge mera.

Sapera looked remorsefully at the sorry of man/nag that stood before him. Jiska beta hai waise hi bakwas kr raha hai. His eyes suddenly became as big as saucers. He understood that thought Chandrakala had died, the powers of Markaat lived on in this nag, he had drained chandrakala's powers before killing her. He was the one who manipulated the stars. He feared exactly how evil was this man. Bheed ki khaal me Bhedia.

S- Ghamad kissi ka nahi tikta...tumne us farishte ko bulaya, grah disha badli and kitne hi paap kiye hai..

J- janta hoon re....list bohot lamba hi...itni sanse nahi hai tere pass...

S- Mai dil se, apni akhri saans se baddua deta hoon tujhe...vinash hoga tera. Adi naagin ke hatho hi hoga...T-

Jai bit him before he could say more. He died instantly but Jai thought about his baddua and if it would harm him. He shook his head and laughed again.

J- Ye kahan ka farishta hai jo apni shaktiyon se mera bura karega aur ab to tapak bhi gaya. Bs bhadas nikal gaya thodi si..

He shook his head and left.

Bani slithered in the jungle and began searching. She would have reached sooner but Veer had spotted her in the house. Her scales were visible and keeping them hidden while running had cost her time but she soon realized it also cost a life- Sapera's. She found his dead body dumped in a ditch and got tensed. Who was killing all these people? Was panditayan dead too? She invoked her powers and peeped in his eyes. What she saw shook her. She struggled to breathe as she tried to make sense of what she saw.

B- Mai kya karu jai?

J- Chinta mt karo Bani

B- Aise kaise na karu? Aise ek aghori ko kon maar skta hai...and ab to Veeranshu bhi sb bhoola baitha hai...mai ek dum akeli pad gayi hoon...mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha

J- mai hoon na tumhare sath Bani. Mujhepr bharosa rakho...sb thik hoga.

It was night time. Bani slithered inside Veer's room in form of a tiny snake. She hid under the bed and slept in her naagin form. It had been a habit now. This is how she monitored him during the nights and during the day she took form of other house helps, Tapish Bhai or even Meera to stay around Veer. She maintained her distance but kept a watch on him. She will deal with the enemy first and then focus on getting Veer to remember her. Though Farista's was no longer using his powers to curse their bond and had even blessed them, his magic would be very difficult to crack but her focus was his safety first.

It was morning, Bani was washing her face to calm herself down. All this stress seems to have taken a toll on her. She was feeling quite weak and struggled to breathe. On the other hand, Veer looked over his shoulders to see were the naukarani claiming to be bahurani was. He felt some sort of a weird connection but shook it off and left for the bike race.

Bani saw Veer leave and rushed behind him despite her weak health. She reached the spot and took the roop of a random guy and stood with the bystanders. She did not care but she had to be around him to monitor him. She smiled when Veer won but his fans, who very mostly girls, hugged him to congratulate him. This pained her but she maintained her face. When a girl kissed his cheeks, it broke her heart. She felt a sinking feeling when Veer turned, enjoying the attention and was about to kiss her on the lips when Bani interrupted.

She got in between and Veer's lips landed her cheek.

V- Abey oye...saale beech me aa gaya...chi

Girl- Yes! Kon ho tum?

B ( in the boy's roop)- Sorry sorry but meri girlfriend ke sath kuch bhi karoge to dekhta thodi rahunga...

Girl- excuse me?

V- chup...I hate girls like you...committed ho to commitment nibhao...

Veer left from there. Shaking his head to clear out the feeling he got when he kissed a boy! Why was feeling nice?! Damn he needed a bottle.

Girl- konsi girlfriend?

B- Meghna?

Girl- kon?

B- Oh shit! You look so much like her...sorry, my mistake.

Bani left as soon as she could leaving the confused girl behind.

Bani reached her home and was about to fall when Meera rushed and saved her. She made her sit in the room and scolded her for being irresponsible. She called the doctors and promised her that Tapish would stick to Veer's side and that she should rest.

Tapish on the other hand was trying to talk to a drunk Veer. Balwant felt powerless while looking at his son who was feeling heartbroken due to distance between him and Bani but had forgotten her to know why he was feeling such.

(Note: Jai met the tantric who was a bhakt of bholenath and realized the evil intentions of the nag but pretended to help him. The doctor came and Jai killed her but before he could feed Bani the ras, Veer entered and broke the glass. His plan went to the dogs and he ran away. Bani realized she maybe pregnant while Veer stood confused at the child's voice he was hearing. Jai has killed the tantric but has not realized that Bani is pregnant. The same as episode but the silver slime thing did not happen)

Bani sat in the nag mandir, welcoming the new nag pandit since no one was left in this temple and this prachin mandir couldn't be left without them. She contacted the pandit families and a nag pandit was appointed.

P- Pranam Adi Naagin.

B- Pranam Pandit Ji

The pandit was a learned man and knew of the satyug's tale and how things and changed. Bani updated him with all she knew as well. They studied the grah dasha and realised that the coming two days were the worst and whoever had brought this on her would try attack now only. She did not know all her enemies and struggled to formulate a plan that would keep Veer safe and sound.

She came back home and sat down with Tara- the only two she trusted and hatched a plan. The very night Tara announced their wedding. Veer was shocked to know that the haldi and other functions had happened. He was shocked to see the pictures, especially when he saw himself stand beside Bani during a function. Were Daksh and Ponky lying? What was this? His head hurt.

T- Haan, toh I want to spend two days with my boys. This is the only thing I ask of you. Do not refuse.

The boys would never say no to a party and Tapish left with them to the farmhouse. Balwant and Shulka went with them as well. The farmhouse was already well sealed with magic. Belpatra were used to restrict snakes enter. She even sealed the doors with her magic and appointed two of her very trusted nags nearby. The moment they would spot any danger, they would let her know.

She left to the Sharma household where Meera now stayed with her family and sealed the place with magic as well.

M- Bani, humara to tune soch liya....but tera kya?

B- Mai apna dhyan rakhungi Meera Di...and aap log safe ho ye sochkr mai bina kissi tension ke ld sakungi...

M- Apna khayal rakhna Bani.

Bani nodded and hugged her sister. Whatever lay ahead, she was ready for it.

 I so loved the series but I am deeply hurt at how the makers have taken it upon them to ruin this every way they can. Naagin 1, 2 & 3 were literally because the naagins saw the killers' 'chavi' in the eyes of their loved ones and yet Bani could not see who killed Sapera Baba? How could they forget such an important detail? Why did she even rush to Veer? Vo to bhool gaya hai kafi baaten, wo kya karta? For him it would be an old man's body (even if he saw it), what did she expect him to do?

And as it is ending in Feb., How long will Veer, who is ironically the strongest cheel, stay like this? Why is no one utilizing Sharad's acting skills and Veer's character?

All this being said, I think Mohit sir was brilliant as Jai. The only silver lining is how beautifully all these people act.
