Plot: Vani end Markaat 

Story setup: Veer had married Bani in anger but their relationship has now progressed. He knows she is innocent and loves her truly. He also knows that she is a naagin. Bani resented him at first; now she has started to feel very strongly for him. They have confessed their feelings. Jai's real face and true intentions are clear to Bani. She has not forgiven him for it and broken all ties. He has gone into hiding.

They are now busy celebrating life and strengthening their bond. Bani revealed Shukla's true nature to the cheels, he heard her reveal his identity to them and disappeared before the cheels could find him. Markaat is trapped in the cave.

(Tapish and Meera are very shy, there are sparks between them but they are still discovering their bond and none of the others have pushed them to marry each other, Bani & Veer are getting to know each other better. The Tara wedding , Veer's hypnotism and the sky girl are not a part this story )

Bani sat down in her room. None of the Singhania's were home and she had the entire place to herself. There was some Cheel festival that they celebrate and had gone to their gufa. She used this break from them for herself and sent away all the servants. She wore a comfortable kurti and sat near the window thinking of all that has gone, sipping her coffee.

Flashbacks

Noor's wedding and her hating Veer..Veer and her wedding due to misunderstanding and hate.

Slowly, her noticing the good man behind all the tough, bad boy exterior....her truth reveal, his mother...Jai...

Flashback ends

Thinking of Jai left a bitter taste in her mouth. She had trusted him, felt guilty whenever she saw him because she felt that in satyug, she was the reason of his death. Recently, she realised that she should let bygones be bygones. All of them died, even the cheels who killed her nags, received a death sentence for their crimes which is the supreme punishment. She should not drag what happened eons ago. When Jai's truth got revealed, she did not punish him because she felt a weight get lifted off her. She was somewhere glad to not feel obligated to the man and have a reason to get away with him.

Though she let go of satyug's events, she knew she cannot simply have a happily ever after. She is the adi naagin, the protector of her clan. She was lucky to find her true saathi in Kalyug but her revenge was far from over. Markaat!

Chills ran down her spine. She did not fear that woman. She trusted Bholenath too much to be scared of anything, she worried only for Veer. He had assured her that he did not care, that woman was not his mother. He liked to think his mother left him in his childhood and this woman was a separate, evil entity but Bani knew better. That is why she left her trapped at anant jharna but this cannot go on, Markaat must end.

She sighed and thought she will have to talk to veer about this when suddenly gandhak came flying in room.

B: Gandhak!? Ye bahar kyu aya? Vo bhi apne aap? Isse to tehkhane me...?

She went down stairs to see that the entire tehkhana was destroyed.

B: Ye bahar ane le liye inti tabhahi maccha raha tha? Zarur kuch gadbad hai..

She closes her eyes and opens them red, scales appear on her hands and body. She lifts a strong arms towards gandhak and controls it. Gandhak comes to Bani but she feels that the stone was radiating restlessness.

B: Itna fark to isse sirf Veer se padta hai. Veeranshu!

She quickly took her naagin roop and left towards the cheel gufa. The gufa seemed sealed shut and she could not spot anything out of ordinary.

B: Tune kuch zyada soch liya Bani. Yahan to jashn chal raha hai. Isse pehle koi cheel tujhe dekh le, nikal yahan se.

She turned to leave but felt burning in her pocket, she put her hand in it only to pull back fast due to the shock gandhak gave her. It flew up in the air and casted a red fog over the area. Bani looked through it to see the Singhania's and many other Cheels trapped behind bars and Chandrakala laughing at them. She was dancing and teasing them all. Iski toh mai!

Gandhak casted a light and made a small hole on the sealed gufa. Bani turned into a small snake and entered the cave.

Chadrakala/Fake Markaat/FM: Ballu! Tu na naam change krke pappu rakh le...(laughs)...Nahi nahi rehne de...marne hi wala hai, kya hi fayda.

Bani heard her tease all the cheels, specially Singhanias'.

FM: Beta, tum sukoon se mr skte ho, tumhari maa apni bahu ka acche se dhyan rakhegi tumhare jaane ke baad...

Veer looked at her angrily.

FM: Arey, nahi, gussa nahi. Tum use zyada din door nahi rahoge, peeche peeche bhejti hoon use bhi.

Markaat laughs evilly. Bani tries to enter the cage in her naag roop and break it, the cage shocks her and she lands in her human form on the grounds. Markaat sees this claps in delight.

FM: arey waah! Dene wala jb bhi deta...deta chappar fad ke? Bahu rani, maine to tumhe kuch din dena chahti thi, Veer ka matam manane ke liye, pr tumhe aaj hi mrna hai to koi baat nahi.

B: Shut up! Tum kaid se nikli kaise?

FM: Kyu batau? Nahi batana mujhe (she sits and grabs some fruit) chalo bol deti hoon, mrne wale ko confusion na rahe isliye..(takes a bite) aaj ke din sadiyon pehle mujhe meri shaktiyan milli thi, aaj hi ke din maine ye roop liya tha...aaj meri shaktiyan apni charam seema pr hoti hai, to tod ayi mai tumhari kaid...(she takes a glass of wine but instead of drinking it, offers it to bani who says no) Smart choice bahu rani, pr ye peeyakr cheel sb gatak gaye aur is mayavi rakh milli daaru ne in sbko aaj ki raat insaan bana diya...

Bani looked at Veer who met her gaze, his eyes speaking to her. She knew he was not drunk, he was just trapped in the cage without any idea on how to break it.

P: Hum mar jayenge bhai..?

D: Hum bina shaadi kare mr jayenge..!

Markaat made a sad face at them.

FM: ab itne gadhe ho, sadiyon se mai admi ki awaz me tumko ullu bana rahi hoon, toh cheel toh kehlane layak ho hi nahi tum sb...isliye mr jao....agle janam me ullu ban jaana...suit karega.

B: Mai aisa hone nahi doongi, mere rehte tum mere parivar ka kuch nahi bigar skti..

Bani took her half naagin roop and threw her tail at Markaat. She dodged it.

FM: Plan change bahu, pehle tu mar. In cheelon ko insaano wali maut baad me denge.

Markaat divided herself into two and attached Bani with her cheel form. Bani dodged the cheel and bit its wings. The cheel landed on the floor and changed into chandrakala, howling in pain. Her other part got angry and she turned into a large black snake. Bani turned herself into a larger red snake and attacked her. They both collided and the ground shook. After a long tussle, both start to pant and circle each other.

Markaat called for her loyal servants and several black faced men surrounded Bani. Markaat used Bani's distraction to heel her cheel roop. Bani prayed to bholenath and took gandhak out of her pocket and used it to free others.

Markaat laughed: Ye insaano ki toli kya help karegi tumari...Mere in paltu naurkaro ko maar bhi denge to bhi is gufa se bahar nahi jaa payenge, marenge sb.

But to her surprise, Veer's eyes turned golden. He took the stone from Bani who was busy fighting one of Markaat's men. He shocked all of them to death.

V: Itna time nahi hai ek ek se ladne ka.

B: Pr-

Bani stopped and covered her mouth in horror.

They turned their attention to Markaat. She had healed her cheel roop and merged together instead of two. She took an even uglier form, a huge black snake with dark wings, her eyes were two coal-like orbs and current flew on her entire form.

"I am like no other today! Tumhare shiv ko tum lagi meri takkar ki pr aaj ke din koi bhi naagin mere dono roopon ka samna nahi kr sakti, kabhi bhi nahi!" markaat's form hissed and ran towards Bani. Bani dodged her form. Veer took his half cheel form and tried to attack Markaat as well.

B: Veer! Ye kya kr rahe ho? Bholenath ne mujhe-

V: Tum adi-shakti ho, adi naagin ho! Mujhe pata h Bani. Tumhare Shiv ji ne tumhe nagon me sbse zyada shaktiyan di hai lekin mai bhi cheelon ka rajkumar hoon, hum ladenge isse-

Bani's mind froze. Adi-Shakti....Shiv. A thousand thoughts flew in her mind. Markaat swiped a strong tail towards her and Bani, who was distracted landed so strongly against the cave door that is burst open again. The Cheel clan exited and markaat who was following them, was about to exit when Bani gained her senses and used her tail to hit the mountain. She successfully blocked the exit as a lot of stones came tumbling down. Veer quickly casted a spell on it using Gandhak.

M: Hahahaha!....kyun hi mehnat ki, do minute me khol dungi mai isse...

Meanwhile Bani told something to Veer that got it eyes to bulge out like saucers.

V: Bani...?

B: Tumhi mere saathi ho Veer, aur koi nahi? Doge saath.

Veer smiled and said apni akhri saans tk

On the other hand Markaat began throwing away each stone, breaking gandhak's seal on each stone but when she got out, a few minutes later, she was shocked to see was magnificent sight, something no creature had ever seen.

A naagin and a cheel, and no ordinary ones at that, an Adi Naagin and the most powerful cheel prince where dancing together! The sight was so powerful that most cheels were on their feet, bowing to them. Many nearby snakes had reached the spot too, to witness this historical sight.

When Markaat had been busy, Bani had taken her naagin roop and veer had taken his cheel roop (the red dress and the all black outfit with that pocket suspenders) Bani invoked Naagmani and offered her full devotion to Bholenath and began her tandav. It left everyone awestruck as she moved gracefully on the ground. To their surprise Veer joined it. As a, cheel did not do a tandav but began circling around her and then mirrored her moves, standing behind her, his hands studying her shape and form. To an outsider, it might look sensuous but some understood what was happening.

Markaat's exited and was taken back. She knew she had to stop this union. A naagin cannot defeat her cheel-nag form but with Veer and her as one, like shiv-shakti, they would invoke the greatest powers any cheel and nag could have, this could destroy her! She started to move towards them when a blinding light burst out of the two. There powers had united, they were united. Ardhnarishwar! They truly embodied one of the greatest forms of Bani's bholenath.

Veer stood next to bani, from head to toe, oozing power. The edges of sleeves now had red on them and his vest pockets had streaks of gold. Bani, stood proud next to him in her black and red sleeveless blouse and red skort with a long black and gold train that flowed down. Gandhak started to circle above them and Nagmani was mirroring its moves, the stones symbolic of them. The stones merged giving out a beam of light that bought markaat to her feet. Vani moved towards her, Veer caught her neck with his right hands, his left hand holding Bani's. His hands sending her huge shock waves, his eyes blazed golden.

V: Tune itni sadiyon se najane kitno ko nuksan pahunchaya hai. Tera ant to nishchit hi tha...

Bani looked at Veer, his eyes were moist but there was no doubt in them. She squeezed his hand as if to send comfort. She them turned her attention towards markaat.

B: Your kaal has come, I will make it swift as I don't want to drag this any longer.

She offered prayers to her god and a trishul appeared in her hands. She pierced it through Markaat's body and bit her forehead at the same time.

Markaat died sooner than one could blink and Balwant rushed forward with a burning log and lit her body. All the cheels and witnessing Nags cheered! The stones bid adieu, going back to their original place.

Veer and Bani looked at each other. Bani knew that now that they were safe, Veer was mourning his mother's death that sadly had to be bought upon her by him as well.

B: Veer-

V: Mujhe pata hai tum kya kahogi. Mt kaho. Ye to hona hi na, mujhe bhi pata tha.

He turned and smiled at her. Bani could not control herself but before she could talk. A voice spoke from inside the cave.

Original Markaat- Cheelon ke rajkumar aur Adi Naagin, andar aao.

They both went inside and the cheels followed them. The witnessing nags chose to stay out of the cheel gufa and left. Inside the cave, the statue the cheels used to worship was shinning.

OM: Tum dono ne mujhe azaad kr diya. Mere naam se yahaan inti sadiyon se reh rahi Chandrakala ne mujhe kayi divyavarsh poorva dhoke se kaid kr liya tha. Uski maut ne mujhe azaad kr diya. Adi Naagin, mana ki mai tumhare bholenath ki tarah bhagwan nahi hoon pr ek dev toh hoon, aur ek khul ka aradhya bhi, ussi naate mai tumhari aur cheel rajkumar ke jode ko ashrivad deta doon, swikriti deta hoon.

With that OM, casted off the insaan-making spell off the cheels and everyone celebrated the rest of the festival. They insisted Bani to celebrate with them and she too sat next to Veer, their hands still interlinked as if they did not know if they had any other use except staying locked like that

Later, Bani took Veer to the prachin Nag mandir. Veer hesitated but to his surprise, the temple did to block his entry. He looked at Bani, surprised when she just smiled.

B: Tum saathi ko mere, adi naagin ke saathi hone ke karan adi nag hone ki upadhi milli thi Hridey ko pr vo jalta tha ye sochke ki use aur zyada shaktiyan kyu nahi milli. Tumne aaj sabit kiya tum mere sacche saathi ho, isliye mandir ne tumhe swikriti de di, aur tum naag to nahi ho pr aur shaktiyan tumhe dheere dheere mil jayengi..

Veer was delighted to hear that he was her partner but stared at the way Bani blushed after saying the last line. He eyes glinted in excitement. He pulled her close.

V: Dheere kyu? Tum kaho abhi mil jaye...

B: Veeranshu! Choro mujhe, mandir hai ye.

Bani was red like a tomato when panditayan entered.

P: Cheel Rajkumar, adi naagin..aaj aap dono ne ek bohot mushkil jeet hasil ki hai. Adi naagin, ab cheel rajkumar ab jo sthan aapka hai nag vansh ki nazro me, wahi unka bhi h.

V: ek to cheel rajkumar mt kahiye mujhe, too formal and too old school! Veeranshu! Veer chalega mujhe....waise handsome bhi keh skti h...

Panditayan's mouth flung open but then she laughed.

P: aap mazak kr rahe hai na! Cheel thode ...uh...naagon ke mukable km niyam mante hai pr aaj dekh bhi liya. Veeranshu Ji... thik hai?

Veer smiled.

V: Waise kya sthan hai Bani ka..Rani, rajkumari to nahi hai ye.

P: Nagvansh ki apni parampara hai, apne audhe hai. Jinhe koi na koi sambhalta hai, pr adinaagin sbse poorani, sbse shaktishali hai. Ye Naglok ke kissi audhe pr nahi hai lekin Nag lok ki raksha hetu agr koi inhe sache man se pukarega to ye zarur ayengi aur inka kaha koi naag nahi talta. Sb samman krte hai aura b ussi samman ke patra aap bhi ho.

V: Mai Samman ka patra adi naagin ke saathi hone nahi, apne aap hasil karna chahunga, pr mujhe accha lagega agr hume dono khul ki swikriti milegi.

Pandityan smiled as Vani then left to pray to Bholenath. Kahan vo naam ke adi nag me aur kahan apke saache sathi Adi naagin! She too prayed for their well-being.

As they exited the temple. Bani held his hand and pulled him to her. He was taken aback but hugged her back with equal passion.

B: Mujhe khushi hai tum surakshit ho, thik ho- tumse tb keh nahi payi pr mujhe tumhari fikra hoti hai Veeranshu.

V: Mai janta hoon Bani, mai bhi khush hoon ki tum thik ho, mere sath ho, Hum sath hai...

Vani: Humesha! (in their minds)

The first rays of the sun fell upon the two souls as their hearts promised each other a forever and though none had said the exact words, they knew they loved each other.
