Tere seene ki lau... mere andar bhi hai

Title is a famous song of Deepveer... no more explanation 🤐

Next morning, while dressing up for the day, Sameer sighed as he realised it was their last day in Kasauli. This time alone with Naina had been so blissful, that he longed to spend few more days here. But it wasn't possible. They had already been on leave for more than a week now. At this time of the year, they couldn't afford to get away for a longer duration.

Yet, he wanted to get away from everything, steal some time exclusively for them, after hectic celebrations with family and friends. He had enjoyed those moments too. But after their marriage, he needed Naina all to himself, at least for a few days.

When he had mentioned his plan to his friends and Rohan, they were not so sure.

"Bhai, Kasauli toh kisi bhi weekend pe jaa sakte ho. Yeh aapka honeymoon hai France jao, Greece jao ya phir kisi aur exotic si jagah pe. Aap bas location decide karo, baaki sab arrangements main kara dunga." Rohan had suggested.

Sanjay was of the same opinion, "Haan yaar Sameer. Naina kya sochegi. Aisa average se honeymoon ka sapna thodi dekha hoga usne. Rohan, tu aisa kar, Mauritius mein"

Sameer interrupted their planning, "Abhi itna time nahi hai ki hum koi foreign trip plan karein. Aur mujhe pata hai Naina ko isse koi farq nahi padega. Uske liye kya matter karta hai main jaanta hun."

Sanjay punched him on the arm, smirking, "Tu matter karta hai pata hai bhai. Lekin aisi choti si jagah jaane se kahin usse bura laga toh? I mean, usse lagna chahiye na ki woh tere liye kitni important hai isliye tu uske liye foreign trip arrange kar raha hai."

Sameer shook his head, smiling, "Woh trip ke basis pe mujhe judge nahi karne wali. Naina ke liye foreign trip koi nayi baat nahi hai. Lekin maine Kasauli mein jo gift uske liye rakha hai, I'm sure usse bohot achha lagega."

They had given in to his argument. Sameer was confident that he was doing the right thing. He knew Naina enough to understand that she valued simpler things, and not something for show off. And her reaction to this place had proved it. The happiness and contentment on her face could be compared to the pleasure derived from the most extravagant trip anywhere in the world.

At breakfast table, she asked, "Aaj ka kya program hai? Kahan jaa rahe hain hum?"

He told her the few places that were yet to be seen, adding later, "Waise agar tum chaho toh hum Shimla bhi chal sakte hain. Aaj raat wahin ruk ke kal wapas nikal jayenge."

Naina scrunched her nose, "Shimla is too crowded. Yahan kitna peaceful hai. Mujhe yeh jagah zyada achhi lagi."

He smiled. This is exactly what he had presumed about her.

"Umm... Sameer... aaj ghar pe hi rehte hain. Jo jagah bachi hain unhe agli baar dekh lenge." She suggested nonchalantly.

Sameer raised a brow, "Lagta hai aaj madam ka full day romance ka plan hai."

"Rest ka plan hai." She rolled her eyes, "Tumhe kal bhi poore din drive karna hai isliye main soch rahi thi aaj rest kar lo toh better hoga."

He followed her to the kitchen as she picked up the plates and went inside, "Aisa kuch nahi hai Naina. Poora din thodi, half day lagta hai yahan se Delhi tak. Hum aaj bhi bahar jaa sakte hain."

She turned to look at him, "Matlab tum yahan mere saath akele time spend karne ki jagah ghoomne jaana prefer karoge?"

He took a step ahead, and placed his hands on either side of her against the counter top, "Agar mujhe puchti toh main ghar kya, bedroom se nikalna bhi prefer nahi karta... teeno din."

His low, rough voice made her shiver. He gazed into her eyes, which reflected his face. Her cheeks had the warmth of their proximity. Her lips were slightly parted, with the effect of his insinuation. The column of her throat moved as she swallowed, finding his eyes on her lips. In one swift motion, he grabbed her waist and claimed her mouth. It was extremely difficult for him to resist after his own words filled his mind with vivid memories of their time together.

His hand had barely tugged at the hem of her sweatshirt when a sound alerted them.

"Koi... koi hai." Naina pushed at his chest, trying to free herself from his grip.

Main door opened, and closed, and the voice became clearer. With a sigh, Sameer stepped away. This Kaanji seemed to have the most perfect timing.

"Arre bhaiya ji bhabhi ji, aaj aap log ghar pe hain. Namaste." Kaanji greeted them with a wide grin, nudging his wife who just folded her hands, her eyes fixed to the ground.

Sameer gave a fake smile, and walked out. Once behind them, he looked back and muttered soundlessly in anger. Naina, who could see him behind Kaanji and Bhoori, couldn't control her chuckle at his childish tantrum.

Kaanji smiled wider, "Aap bohot achhi hain bhabhiji. Hamesha hansti rehti hain."

Sameer stopped in his tracks. Walking back to her in quick strides, he held her arm, and glared at Kaanji, "Naina, mujhe kuch kaam hai. Upar chalo."

"Haan haan bhabhiji jaiye. Main aur Bhoori yahan ka saara kaam kar lenge." Kaanji moved aside, making way for them to pass.

"Sameer." Naina queried when they reached their room and he shut the door with a bang, "Yeh kya tha? Kya sochenge woh log? Tum aise mujhe pakad ke le aaye."

"Toh aur kya karta?" He fumed, his brows knit together, "Uski bakwas sunta rehta?" He twisted his mouth and imitated Kaanji, "Aap bohot achhi hain bhabhiji'... kya matlab hua iss baat ka? Humne pucha usse? Do minute mein usse pata chal gaya ki bhabhiji achhi hain. Sabko aise hi certificate deta hai kya woh? Aur maanga kisne hai usse yeh opinion. Mera toh mann kar raha hai abhi usse..."

Naina couldn't control her laughter any more, that burst out in spurts first, them unrestrained as he gave her an annoyed look.

"Oh God Sameer. Tum itni si baat pe itna kyon react kar rahe ho." She came closer to him after a hearty laugh.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her to himself with a jerk, "Mujhse bardasht nahi hua."

Her hands moved up his shoulders to the sides of his neck, knowing that it was his possesiveness that vexed him. Threading her fingers at the base of his hair, she rubbed his stubbled jaw with her thumbs, looking into his eyes.

Every speck of anger flew out of Sameer's mind when he gazed into her loving eyes. The way she touched him, his heartbeat skyrocketed instantly.

"Itna gussa theek nahi hai." She whispered.

"I love you." His hands dug into her waist.

"And I love you." She flicked her brows at him, "Agar koi tumhe praise karega toh mujhe bohot achha lagega."

All his senses were only receptive to one thing now, "Mujhe bohot achha lagega... jab tum mujhe kiss karogi."

She raised her heels and complied, without wasting a second. Her lips moulded against his, and she felt him smile smugly, like a kid who has got all attention and love that he doesn't want to share. Her fingers continued to play with his prickly jaw while her lips moved deliciously against his, in a kiss that made every cell in his body crave for more of her. The kiss was slow yet sensuous, igniting yet soothing, teasing yet pacifying.

Naina moved back when the lack of breath forced her. Looking into his eyes, she mumbled in a heavy voice, "Mere liye wohi tareef hai jo tumhari aankhon mein dikhti hai, jo tumhare hothon se milti hai, jo tumhari dhadkan se mehsoos hoti hai... jaise abhi ho rahi hai."

She placed one hand on his erratically beating heart. He smiled, finally getting what she wanted to say. Leaning, he planted a kiss on her forehead, and nodded.

They spent the afternoon on terrace, basking in the sun. Sameer was again irritated when she insisted on going down repeatedly, saying that she needed to see if work was being done properly, as they would be leaving next day. In the evening, when Kaanji and his wife were about to go, Naina brought some money from her bag and handed to him.

"Tum dono bohot achha kaam karte ho. Bhoori, yeh paise tum dono ke liye hain. Apne liye ek achhi si saree le lena aur Kaanji ke liye sweater. Aur haan, agli baar hum aayein tab tak bolna bhi seekh lena." She smiled warmly, handing them the money.

For the first time, the demure woman looked up, and gave a shy smile to Naina.

Kaanji sheepishly rubbed his hands, "Abhi hamari nayi nayi shaadi hui hai na bhabhiji, isliye zyada hi sharmati hai."

Naina patted her arm, and watched as they walked away. It was heartwarming to see how Kaanji took care of her, holding her hand and directing her on the slippery cobbled path.

When she turned after bolting the door, Sameer grinned, "Ab koi nahi ayega disturb karne."

Naina squeezed her eyes shut, holding the side of her head.

"Naina, kya hua tumhe?" He darted to her, holding her in his firm grip.

"Ekdum se chakkar sa aa gaya." She said in a weak voice.

"Tum yahan baitho." Sameer carefully took her to the large cushioned chair, and made her sit before running to kitchen to get water.

She had a few sips, and put the glass aside. He sat on the arm of the chair, wrapping his arm around her shoulders, "Tumhe kisne kaha tha itna kaam karne ko... woh log isiliye toh aate hain. Ab thak gayi na. Chalo upar chal ke rest karo."

"Main yahin rehna chahti hun. Bas ek medicine le lungi toh fit ho jaungi. Tum laa doge shop se?" She raised her brows in question.

He vehemently shook his head, "Tumhe akela chod ke main kahin nahi jaa raha. Tum bhi chalo, car mein baithe rehna."

"Sameer, please tum jaake le aao na. Mujhe kuch theek nahi lag raha." She pressed her forehead.

Sameer looked at her in concern, "Tumhari tabiyat theek nahi hai kya? Naina, doctor ke paas chalte hain."

"Nahi nahi. Doctor ki zarurat nahi hai. Bas thoda rest karungi toh theek ho jaungi. Tum mujhe yeh medicine laa do." She typed the name on her phone and sent him.

Sameer touched her neck. She wasn't warm thankfully.

"Main kaise jaa sakta hun jab tum aisi haalat mein ho. Ya toh tum saath chalo ya tumhe akela chod ke main bhi nahi jaa raha." He declared with finality.

"Offo Sameer main ghar mein hi toh hun. Please laa do na. Main chal padti lekin mujhe lagta hai aur exert nahi karna chahiye." Naina picked the glass from side table and had another sip of water, taking a deep breath after that.

Sameer didn't want to leave her alone, but he couldn't see her suffering. Reluctantly, he agreed to go.

The shop was a little away, at the other end of Mall Road. He gave the name of medicine to pharmacist, "Jaldi de do. Bohot urgent hai."

The person checked the name, then gave him a strange look. Sameer frowned, "Available nahi hai kya?"

"Hai na. Abhi deta hun." He shrugged, and brought out the strip of tablets from under the counter.

Sameer paid for it quickly and left. Back home, he opened the door, and the first thing he felt, even before lifting his eyes to the view, was a pleasant, cosy warmth... much more than what was provided by their regular heaters.

His eyes darted around, to find the fireplace alive. A radiant gold flame danced in the hearth that lay in the solid wall of large stones. The smell of wood and crackle sound of burning was not just welcoming but alluring too.

Sameer shut the door and stepped in, taking his jacket off. That it slipped to the floor from the wooden stand where he hung it carelessly didn't register. His entire attention was grabbed by the thick rug on the floor... and a blanket on one of the chairs.

With his heart thumping at the arrangement in front of him, he called out softly, "Naina."

More than the sound, it was the way his heart lurched that he knew she was in the room. Turning slowly, he found her coming down the stairs, taking her own sweet time. His breath altogether stopped at what she was wearing. He wasn't sure it was a dress, or a pullover, or a wrap, or... it was something that he wasn't aware of.

Made of thick knitted fabric, it wrapped around her in a way that one of her shoulder was left completely bare. It ended above her knees, with an uneven hemline. Sleeves fell upto her elbows, but were more like a shawl draped over her arms. Whatever it was, she looked hotter than the fire burning in the room. She had styled her hair too, making them more bouncy, and falling in soft curls around her shoulders. Few wisps fell on her face, making his fingers itch to push them back. She had darkened her eyes, and added a shiny, colourless gloss to her lips, that made them even more desirable.

She reached the last step, just two feet away from him... but he stood like a statue, entrapped by what he was seeing.

She closed the distance between them. Sameer gaped at her without blinking. She messed up his heartbeat, his breathing, his mind... and pretty much everything. The warmth... no, it was much stronger... the heat he felt wasn't because of the fire lit in one corner of the room.

When her palm pressed over his heart, he started to breathe again. Holding her other wrist, he twisted her arm behind her, making her plaster into him in reflex.

"Woh natak tha... haina?" His voice seemed to be coming from a deep well, his eyes inked with longing.

She looked back at him, her eyes glittering with the reflection of fire, "Tumhe surprise dene ke liye... thodi si acting ki thi. Sorry."

There was no hint of remorse in her apology. He was mesmerised by her planning, her acting, her effort... and her boldness.

His other hand curled on her bare shoulder, making her take a shaky breath. Pressing her turned hand more into her back, he lowered his head to take her lips in a hungry kiss. Even when he ran out of breath, his mouth refused to let go of the contact with her skin, skimming down to the smooth expanse of her neck and shoulder. She had awakened a raw, carnal impulse in him, and he let her feel it when his teeth scraped against her collar bone.

Her free hand went up behind his neck, fisting into his hair as she arched back at his pleasurable torture. His teeth marked again, on the curve of her shoulder, and she tilted her head back, with a hiss. He immediately blew over it, before placing soft kisses over the skin that seared his lips. She wriggled to free her hand. She needed to touch him too. He lifted his head, his dark eyes boring into her melting ones. The same urgency in them made his heart swarm with a rush of new sensations. His hold on her wrist loosened, letting her hand travel to his face. She cupped his cheek. He waited... expecting her to kiss him like she did in the morning. When she turned his face away from her, he was taken by surprise.

His view filled with the arrangement she had made in front of fire. She held his hand, and walked to where the fire bathed them in its glow, matching with the one roaring within them. Lifting his hand, he pushed her hair back, which were falling over her shoulder. The mark had already started to darken on her creamy skin. He clutched her waist, pulling her flush against him. The flaming shadow formed a deep hue on her cheeks.

"You... are... mind-blowing!" He rasped, his one hand drawing patterns on her shoulder.

She closed her eyes, his touch sending waves of pleasure through her. Her hands went around his neck, fingers finding a way under his collar. He groaned when her fingers brushed between his shoulder blades at the back. Detaching himself for a moment, he peeled off his shirt, tossing it out of the way. Her eyes moved over his bare torso. The way his muscles flexed when she placed her hand on his abdomen made her smile proudly. He grabbed her for a much needed kiss, invading her mouth fiercely. She pulled his face closer, demanding more, which he gave gladly.

When his hands started to fiddle with her dress, she suppressed a chuckle. As expected, he lost patience within seconds, unable to find an opening.

"Please." He whispered, kissing her ear.

She directed his hand to the clutch in front, that held her dress together. As his lips started to worship her skin, she threw her head back, sinking to the floor. He fell with her, both on their knees in front of the crackling fire. The glow of fire shone on her body, like it was reflecting their inner feelings. The flicker and crackle was like the sizzling sparks between them, intense and hypnotic. Their hearts blazed harder than the dancing flames.

Naina dug her nails in his back as his stubble pricked against her soft skin, his tongue flicking over it setting her skin ablaze. It wasn't the first time he was loving her this way, yet it felt like first time... new, and raw, sensations rocking her body. The muffled sounds that escaped her lips were melody to his ears, making his need for her go into overdrive. Pushing her back on the rug, he gave in to the boiling desires.

Ecstasy transformed to bliss as they got consumed by the fire inside, equally besotted with each other. As the hearth lost its intensity, Sameer pulled the blanket from the chair, covering both of them. It was indeed a perfect night before they left the place next morning.

Next update on Thursday
