Tere bina meri subah nahi jalti... tere bina meri shaam nahi dhalti
Last update mentioned 'hero ki heroine'... and now whole fd has seen the live... hero and his heroine😌
Bas aur kuch nahi kehna 🤫 just a coincidence
Title is the song 'Soniye' from movie 'Aksar'
Sameer had to leave in the morning with Vivek for some urgent work at office. It was supposed to take not more than an hour or so but once they reached there, one thing after the other called for their attention. It was post noon that they entered the house, which was teeming with people for the mehendi ceremony, after haldi was over in the morning.
Sameer looked around but couldn't find Naina anywhere. He asked Deepika, his mom, few known people too, but no one seemed to give him a satisfactory answer. Anxious, he sprinted up to his room, hoping she was there. She wasn't.
"Offo Naina, kahan ho tum?" He reached for his phone and called up her number.
The phone started to ring somewhere in the room. He turned sharply to find her phone on the dresser. Shaking his head, he quickly freshened up and rushed back down.
"Ramdhari, Naina kahan hai?" He asked the first person he saw at the bottom of stairs.
"Sameer bhaiya, nanaji kaafi der se yahan baithe the toh thode thak gaye the isliye..." He started to explain.
"Nanu ke baare mein mummy ne bata diya. Main tujhse Naina ka puch raha hun." Sameer interrupted him impatiently.
Ramdhari nodded, "Wohi bata rahe hain. Naina bhabhi ne nanaji ko unke kamre mein choda aur ab unke liye kuch khaane ko bana rahi hain. Humne kaha hum bana dete hain lekin woh kehne lagi ki humein aur bhi bohot kaam hai isliye..."
He looked strangely at his Sameer bhaiya who was already running towards the kitchen, "Kamaal hai, pehle sawaal puchte hain phir jawab bhi nahi sunte." Shaking his head, he got back to ensuring that all guests were being served properly.
Halting abruptly at the door of kitchen, Sameer drew in a sharp breath silently, trying to control his heart that had jumped to his mouth at the sight in front of him. Naina was trying to reach for something on the top shelf of the cabinet, her arm outstretched. He had seen her do so earlier too, but the difference was that she was in a saree today. Her pallu gathered over one shoulder, revealing the slender arm in a cut sleeve blouse, and curve of her bare waist in clear view. Sameer felt a dryness in his throat. Her head was tilted backwards, making her open hair fall till much below her waist, but he could see how the saree hugged her perfect figure, making his hands itch to touch her.
He looked back. With the tables of several food items and hot and cold drinks set up outside, no one seemed to be interested in the kitchen. He sneaked up behind her, and reached for her hand which was up in the air. Naina gasped when she felt him behind her.
"Main hun, sweetheart. Don't worry." He whispered against her ear, bringing her hand down.
"Isiliye worried hun... kyonki tum ho." She whispered back, "Aur bahar baaki sab bhi hain."
"Achha." He nuzzled in her hair, placing his hands on the counter on her either side, trapping her, "Itna bharosa hai apne masoom se husband pe?"
She giggled, "Masoom? Yeh masoom harkat toh nahi lag rahi."
"Arre, main toh tumhari help kar raha hun. Bolo kya chahiye uss shelf se." He flicked his head towards the open cabinet.
Naina turned her face to look back at him, a knowing smile on her face. He gave a quick look and smiled innocently.
"Woh tray chahiye, jismein glass ki alag space hai. Jise nanu aaram se bed pe rakh sake." She pointed at a rarely used tray on the side of top shelf.
Sameer picked up the tray and placed it on the counter beside her. She attempted to walk away, but he trapped her again.
"Sameer, jaane do. Itne saare log hain ghar mein, koi bhi aa sakta hai yahan." She squirmed.
"Thank you bolo pehle, maine help ki na tumhari." He grabbed her waist and swirled her around.
She raised her chin, "Maine help nahi maangi. Tum apni marzi se mere peeche aaye."
He traced her lips with a finger, tilting his head, his voice turning raspy, "Yeh bhi tumhari galti hai. Kisne kaha tha itni sundar hone ko." He knew she had no clue how utterly gorgeous she looked, but she could definitely read in his eyes the thoughts he was having about her.
She trembled as he rubbed her waist with one hand while the finger of other moved lazily over her lips, nose, chin, and started to trace the chain of her mangalsutra.
"Kya... kya kar rahe ho. Kisi ne dekha toh..." Her shaky voice was hardly audible.
His heart fluttered at the way her lips quivered, making him dip his head and peck them before he could stop himself. Her shock was swept away when his thumb played around her belly button. Her hands flew up to his collars, which she clutched hard, her eyes on his lips. Had they been in their room, or anywhere secluded, she would have kissed him. But the way he was torturing her with his heated gaze and dizzying wonder of his touch, she felt herself melting into a puddle... all other considerations fading.
All Sameer wanted was to feel her in his arms once, after being away for the entire morning, but seeing her in a saree, in such an enticing posture, his heart longed for more. The fleeting kiss was on the spur of the moment, but the way she responded, and looked at him, it was his turn to tremble, and he wound his arms tight around her. The pounding of their hearts could be felt by both. He pressed his lips fervently in her hair, nuzzling her neck for few moments till she whispered urgently, "Sameer, koi aa raha hai."
He instantly moved away, turning to the shelves on opposite side and opened a drawer.
Vishakha was surprised to see him, "Sameer, tu yahan kya kar raha hai? Sab log toh bahar hain?"
He turned to face his mom, his eyes twinkling, "Mummy, mujhe kuch meetha chahiye tha. Wohi dhoondne aaya tha."
Vishakha pointed towards the hall, "Wahan saare snacks aur puddings hain. Humne Oberoi ki cake shop se tarts, pies aur eclairs mangwaye hain, La'opera se macaroons aur..."
Sameer went towards her as she was counting the number of food items from the most exclusive places, and placed his hands on her shoulders from behind, leaning down, "I know mummy, sab kuch best order kiya hai aapne. Lekin mujhe Naina ke haath ka khana tha, kuch different."
Naina gave him a shocked look when she noticed his gaze on her lips.
Vishakha narrowed her eyes, looking at the simmering pan on stove, "Naina, tum iski baaton mein aa ke banane bhi lagi... tumhe mehendi nahi lagani kya? Chodo yeh sab, main Shambhu ko bhejti hun woh bana dega, tum chal ke mehendi lagwao."
Recovering from the looks he was giving her, Naina smiled sweetly at Vishakha, "Main Sameer ki baaton mein aane wali nahin hun, mummy. Main toh nanu ke liye upma bana rahi thi. Woh do din se sab heavy khana kha rahe hain, isliye socha unke liye kuch healthy aur light sa bana dun. Bas ho gaya, abhi de ke aati hun. Aap Sameer ko bahar le jaiye... jahan inki meethe ki demand poori ho."
Vishakha nodded in satisfaction at Naina's care, then turned around and held Sameer's wrist, dragging him out, "Chal mere saath. Ek se ek cheezein hain aur tujhe bichari Naina ko kaam pe lagana hai. Woh kyon cooking karegi jab saare arrangements ho rakhe hain."
Sameer twisted his head, pouting at his wife, who sniggered at his childish expression, and went back to get nanu's food ready.
Later, she got her hands adorned with intricate pattern, yet again getting Sameer's name hidden in it. Last time, when they got married, it was only when they were in Kasauli that she remembered he had to search for his name. But by then, the design had become lighter at few places, and he managed to get away by saying that letters were not visible. This time she would make him search for every letter, she thought with a sly smile.
Ayush was thrilled to put mehendi again, "Main aaj Rohan chachu aur Preeti maasi ka name likhwaunga." He waved his hands at Deepika.
"Kyon?" She gave him a questioning look.
Ayush stared at her as if she had asked the most absurd question, "Unki shaadi hai isliye... aapko itna bhi nahi pata?"
Deepika rolled her eyes, "Woh toh pata hai buddhu lekin naam unka kyon? Tune toh apne mumma papa ka naam likhwaya tha na last time."
"Tab unki shaadi thi." Ayush shrugged, explaining everything in one sentence.
Deepika laughed, "Tera haath shaadi ka card nahi hai. Jo aapka sabse favourite hota hai uska name likhwate hain, chahe shaadi kisi ki bhi ho."
"Haww, mujhe toh yeh rule pata hi nahi tha." Ayush was aghast, "Thank you, Deepika bua, nahi toh big wali mistake ho jaati."
Naina, who had been quietly listening to their conversation standing a few feet away, walked to him and kneeled on the side, taking him in her embrace, "Tu jiska chahe name likhwa, tere favourite toh tere Sameer papa hi hain, mujhe pata hai."
"Tum bhi ho." Ayush grinned, "Dono first number pe... jaise mere school ki race mein Abir aur Ronak dono first aaye the, dono ko prize mila."
Naina kissed his plump cheek, "Prize toh humein bhi mila."
Ayush rounded his eyes, "Tumne bhi race kiya tha? Kab? Office mein?"
Ruffling his hair, Naina got up, "Ab baatein band aur chup chap mehendi lagwa. Phir sham ko sangeet mein bhi jaana hai na."
It was around teatime in the evening when Sameer saw Naina going up the stairs, towards their room. Since most people were relaxing before they started to get dressed for sangeet, and he had also put Ayush to sleep, he went up after her, after making sure that the planners were working as scheduled for evening function.
The moment she stepped out of the washroom, Naina was pulled into Sameer's arms.
"I missed you." He cupped her face with one hand, looking into her eyes.
She matched his gaze with same intensity, "I love you."
Since he had left the kitchen, they did not get a chance to speak, though they kept stealing glances at each other whole time. Every time she saw him her breath got heavier, a painful tightening churned her stomach and all she wanted to do was to tell him how much she loved him. And everytime he looked at her, he set her soul on fire, making her heartbeat break into a frenzied rhythm. Being with him in the same room, still away, had made her crave for him, to be close to her and touch her. It felt crazy... but it felt right. Because she loved him. And she would tell him so every single day of her life.
He passed her an indulgent smile, "You missed me too. Haina?"
She raised her hand to place on his cheek, grazing the slightest hint of darkness that was beginning to appear, "And you love me too. Haina?"
He did not waste another second, closing the distance between their lips. Pleasure rushed through her veins, with every cell coming to life at the way his lips moved over hers. He probed, and she parted them immediately. His tongue reached the warm corners of her mouth... invading, demanding, possessing. Her hands made way to his hair, tugging and pulling his head closer, kissing him back ardently. She was as lost in him as he was into her. He shivered into the kiss, amazed that she had so much passion stowed into her.
Naina's cheeks were still flushed in the evening thinking about their fierce kiss. There wasn't enough time to catch some more moments with each other, but just being together for a few minutes had invigorated them, and they were ready for the sangeet function, where they were to give a special performance.
Preeti hugged Naina when she reached their house, along with her family, "Aisa lagta hai kal hi toh tera sangeet tha."
Bela smiled, stroking her daughter's hair, "Humein bhi aisa hi lagta hai jaise abhi kuch din pehle toh tu Rohan ke saath ice cream pe jhagda karti thi."
"Woh toh ab bhi karti hai." Naina laughed, "Sirf ice cream pe nahi, har cheez pe."
Bela frowned, "Preeti, tu sudhar jaa. Pati ke saath har samay ladte rehna achha nahi hai. Kya kahenge sab log, kaisi bahu mili hai. Agar mujhe shikayat sunne ko mili toh dekhna, main baat nahi karungi tujhse."
Preeti turned and pinched her mom's cheeks, "Ab toh aur bhi jhagda karungi mummy, aakhir biwi ka haq hota hai."
Bela looked at Anand, "Dekhiye zara apni beti ko. Kuch sikhaiye isse. Sasuraal mein kaise rehna hai, yeh bhi nahi pata."
Before Anand could take his daughter's side as always, Sameer approached them, a wide smile on his face, "Aunty, Preeti ko hum sab achhe se jaante hain. Aur aap bhi toh hum sabko jaanti hain. Aapko lagta hai iss ghar mein rehne ke liye Preeti ko change hone ki zarurat hai?"
Vivek came to them, to welcome his son's in laws, and folded his hands, "Bela ji, aap hamari beti pe kisi tarah ka pressure mat daaliye. Na Preeti ko change hone ki zarurat hai na Rohan ko. Dono jaise hain perfect hain ek doosre ke liye bhi aur iss ghar ke liye bhi."
It was Rohan's voice which finally brought a serene smile on Bela's face, "Mummy, pressure toh bilkul mat daalo, height aur kam ho jayegi iski. Aap toh laddu baanto ki iski shaadi ho rahi hai. Ab jaake aap chain se reh paoge. Aur hum..." He sighed, "Hum kisi tarah jhel lenge, jaisi bhi hai yeh."
Leaning sideways, Sameer whispered to him when he saw Preeti's nostrils flare up, "Rohan, tune galat panga le liye."
"Don't worry, bhai, hamare dance mein feels ayengi." Rohan winked at Preeti as he murmured back to his brother.
His words proved correct when they danced to the song chosen for them
Ladki beautiful kar gayi chull
chull chull chull
Preeti had the perfect expressions as she moved around haughtily while Rohan chased her
Nakhre vilayati ego mein rehti
nakhre vilayati ego mein rehti
tashan dikhati full
arre ladki beautiful kar gayi chull
chull chull chull
She turned around and held his collar, making him look down at her feet
Sandal mere cham cham karde
hege high brand de
sandal mere cham cham karde
hege high brand de
airplane mundyan de
meri heel pe hote land ve
saari kudiyan hayee desi chidiyan
saari kudiyan desi chidiyan
iklouti main bulbul
Main ladki beautiful kar gayi chull
It was a fun song and a peppy and energetic performance by bride and her groom set the tempo for an exciting evening.
Naina appreciated their dance when they came back to their seats, "Kya baat hai Preeti, bade achhe moves the tere, ekdum perfect."
She shrugged, "Song was me. So was the dance."
Rohan pulled her to himself, looping an arm around her shoulder, "Aur mujhe apne ishaaron pe nachana toh iska favourite kaam hai."
Preeti looked at him. He grinned, "Not complaining. Itne saalon mein pro ho gaya hun... tumhare isharon pe nachne mein. Aur ab toh official licence bhi mil gaya."
She elbowed him in the abdomen, but laughed and hugged him. Rohan kissed the top of her head.
Naina gave them an adoring look, "Aww, tum dono kitne cute lag rahe ho pyar se gale milte hue. It's a rare sight." She quickly took out her phone, "Ek picture toh banti hai."
After a few clicks, Preeti asked her, "Tumhara kaunsa dance hai Naina?"
She gestured to seal her lips, her brows dancing.
Rohan let out an exhale, "Nahi batayenge dono. Maine kitna pucha, lekin dono ne itni secretly practice kiya hai ki song sunayi tak nahi diya."
Preeti looked at Naina's outfit, a peach coloured lehenga, and contemplated that it could be something like 'mehendi laga ke rakhna' or 'bole chudiyan'.
"Guess karte raho, par pata nahi laga sakte." Naina winked, and walked away.
"Hmm." Preeti said thoughtfully, "Isko dekh ke lagta hai hamare guesses se kuch bilkul opposite karne wali hai... matlab, dono karne wale hain."
And her prediction turned true when, after a few dance numbers, Naina appeared in a dress that was fitted till mid thighs and had two layers of asymmetrical frill going till a little below her knees. Her pumps with short heels made Preeti smile. When Sameer arrived, dressed in black trousers and well fitted black full sleeves shirt, there was no doubt left that they were going to perform a salsa dance.
Sameer stepped on the platform with Naina. He had been waiting for a long time for this moment. Once the music began and lights went dim, all he could see was her.
Naina didn't look anywhere else but at him when she was facing him. Sameer's fingers traced her bare arms, from the shoulder right upto her wrist as the soft lyrics began.
Pyar ki yeh ek kahani suno
ek ladka tha ek ladki thi
hoti kya hai jawani suno
ek ladka tha ek ladki thi
woh bhi ek daur tha
waqt hi aur tha
jab woh the ajnabi
dono tanha se the
par woh kehte kise
baat jo dil mein thi
His hands grabbed her waist, twirling her around to make her fall back over his arm. They had practiced the moves earlier, but his touch felt hundred times more electric here, in front of everyone.
Gumsum gumsum rehte the dono
phir bhi dil mein kehte the dono
koi sapna hum bhi paayein
Ek din toote gham ke woh ghere
jhilmil jhilmil aaye savere
Mausam badla jaagi fizayein
She leaned backwards, and he brushed his fingers all the way from her ankles, over her dress till her waist. She felt goosebumps, as she had felt the first time he had come close, after their 'marriage' in Bhalla aunty's house. All those moments came alive in her mind.
Woh mil gaye woh khil gaye
aur pyar ho hi gaya
jo maang tha woh paaya
toh hosh kho hi gaya
They linked their fingers, coming close, their bodies touching, and saw the same flecks of desire in each others eyes.
Haule haule ab woh deewane
gungunaye dil ke taraane
sun sun jhoome saari hawaiyen
dhadkan hai behaki behaki
mann mein chahat hai meheki meheki
dekhoge toh janoge
kya hai nasha pyar ka
The way Naina looked at him, her brown eyes melting even in the dim light, left Sameer tantalized. On the other hand, Naina was in a daze at his passionate touches that left her senses shaken.
A loud applause, along with bright lights coming back to life made them realise the dance was over. They bowed gracefully, his hand clasped over hers, and walked away, to change out of their costumes.
So this was my tribute to the mv that was shot two days back 😊
