Dil tujhmein hi tujhmein dooba rahe

Title is well known to everyone now 😌 'That's all I really wanna do' from movie 'Teri meri kahani'

"Naina. Ek baat bolun?" Sameer whispered, holding her in his arms.

"Hmm." Naina did not move.

"Iss shirt mein tum bohot khoobsurat lag rahi ho... mujhe pata nahi tha meri shirt itni achhi hai." He lifted his head to look at her.

She glanced up at him, smirking, "Isliye tum aaye ho tabse isse seene se laga ke rakha hai, sote hue bhi aur... bathroom mein bhi?"

He shook his head, "Shirt ke liye nahi... main usme tumhe imagine kar raha tha."

A streak of red tinted her when he added, "Soch raha tha isse pehen ke jab tum mere saath hogi... chahe wahan... ya wahan..." he flicked his eyes first at the bed, then towards washroom, "... toh kaisi lagogi."

"You're a dirty talker." She lowered her eyes, but he liked that she did not try to move away from his arms.

Placing a finger under her chin, he made her face tilt up, speaking softly when she looked into his eyes, "I'm not. Main apna pyar dikhane ko galat nahi samajhta. Tum bhi mat samjho. Naina, I want you to speak and do what you want... apne dil ki har baat maano. Tumhe jo feel hota hai, jaisa ahsaas hota hai woh khul ke batao. I'm all yours. Mujhse hesitate karne ki tumhe koi zarurat nahi hai. Kal jab maine office mein shirt utari thi, tum chahte hue bhi nazar utha ke mujhe nahi dekh rahi thi."

Her eyes flickered down below his neck.

He smiled, "Aaj jab tumne dekha, it was something else. Tumhari aankhon mein apne liye aisa pyar dekh ke mera darr thoda kam hota hai."

"Darr?" She was surprised. Was he saying that even he was hesitant when it came to...

Sameer didn't let her thoughts go much far, "Darr... ki main tumhe force kar raha hun, ki main tumhe accept karne ko majboor kar raha hun, ki tum sirf meri khushi ke liye aage aa rahi ho... ki you don't feel anything for me."

"Ai... aisa nahi hai, Sameer. I do." She countered immediately.

He stared into her eyes, "Wohi dekha maine jab tumhari aankhen bina kisi ghabrahat ke mujhpe aake ruki. Hum bachhe nahi hain Naina. We both are aware of all aspects of this relationship. Yeh feelings natural hain. Inke liye embarrassed hone ki zarurat nahi hai."

"Main embarrassed nahi hun." She declared boldly, "Kal jab office mein tumhe... I realised main har raat tumhare saath hoti hun lekin kabhi tumhe iss tarah..." her hand moved over his abdomen, "... iss tarah theek se dekha nahi. Pehli baar mere ghar mein, jab tumhe chot lagi thi, aur maine ointment lagayi thi... tab se meri aankhon mein woh image thi. Kal achanak phir se dekh ke... main uss raat bhi tumhe choona chahti thi, aur kal bhi."

His eyes glittered at her candid confession. Pressing her closer to himself, he uttered in a raspy voice, "Yeh sunke aisa laga jaise... koi award mil gaya mujhe."

She looked at his face, glowing with childish excitement and manly desire at the same time, a combination that she found wildly intriguing.

"Ahh Naina, tumhara naam sach mein tumhare parents ne perfect rakha hai. Jab tum aise dekhti ho... dil ki dhadkan ruk jaati hai." Sameer thumped over his heart with a fisted hand.

Her gaze fell to the same place. His mole was at her eye level. Caressing it with her thumb, she did not look away, "Tumhare dil ko kuch nahi hoga... yeh nazar ka teeka jo hai."

And before he could react to her words, she touched her lips to his chest, placing a kiss over the mole. He drew in a breath with a hiss. Her sudden act made his eyes turn dark, his fingers digging in her waist.

"Koi mole toh tumhara bhi hoga. Kahan hai? I need to return the favour. Mujhe udhaar rakhna pasand nahi." His voice was so deep, she felt the nerves of her stomach turn into a coiled mess.

Tentatively, she raised a finger to her face. On her right cheek, closer to her ear was a prominent mole. His face cracked into a smile. She really knew how to play. For now, he lowered his head and kissed the mole. There was a mischievous smile on her face when he lifted his head.

"Bohot satati ho tum. Main har baat ka badla lunga... yaad rakhna." He groaned, reaching for her mouth.

She put her fingers on his lips, stalling him, "Office ka time ho raha hai. Nanu ne poore din ki leave nahi di hai."

He rolled his eyes, "Ab nanu bhi hamare pyar ke dushman banne lage hain."

"Jee nahi. Unhone hi kaha tha ki tumhe sone dun, aur main bhi tumhare paas rahun." She reminded adamantly.

'Lo, nanu ki fan following badh gayi." He chuckled.

"Unki main pehle din se fan hun." She laughed.

His face turned gloomy, "Aur mujhe dekhti tak nahi thi." Next instant, his eyes were lit up again, "Achha Naina, agar main tabhi... shirt utar deta toh? Tum pighal jaati na?"

He got a punch in his gut as she pushed him away, "Thappad padta... garam wala, jisse tum pighal jaate."

"Tum mujhe thappad toh kabhi nahi maarti, I'm sure. Itne handsome ladke ko kaun thappad maar sakta hai." He grinned, following her as she walked to the cupboard.

"Tab maine nahi dekha tha tum kitne handsome ho. I never noticed." She said over her shoulder.

"Ouch. That hurt. Mujhe notice nahi kiya?" He distorted his face, in an expression of pain.

Taking her clothes, she turned, giving him a stiff look, "Tumne jhoot bola na mujhse." When his eyes clouded in confusion, she said in a severe voice, "Main tumhara pehla pyar nahi hun."

His mouth rounded in shock, "Nahi Naina main..."

"Tum khud apna pehla pyar ho... sabse zyada khud se pyar karte ho." Unable to keep up the austere façade, she chuckled.

Before Sameer could discern, she had vanished inside the washroom.

He exhaled in relief, walking to the mirror. Looking at himself, he ran his fingers through his hair, "Hamesha se sab kehte the Sameer bohot handsome hai, bohot smart hai. Mujhe bhi lagta tha main theek thak hun. Lekin ab... tumhari nazron mein apne liye pyar dekh ke, tumse apni tareef sunke... sach mein lagta hai main bohot handsome hun."

"Ab khud se pyar jatana band karo aur jaake ready ho jao." Naina laughed when she caught him admiring himself.

He moved aside as she, dressed in trousers and a full sleeved top, came to the dresser. He watched while she applied moisturiser, then another creamy layer on it. Taking a brush, she scooped a tiny amount of balm from a very small pot and brushed over her lips, giving them a pinkish tinge. After she had brushed her hair and tied them in a pony, she turned to Sameer, crossing her arms, "Makeup karna seekh rahe ho?"

He smiled, "Dekh raha hun tum kya jaadu karti ho, jo tumhe dekhte hi main pagal ho jaata hun."

Her eyes softened. As she lowered her gaze, his bare chest made her look back at his face, "Aur mujhe bhi pagal kar dete ho."

He stepped closer, placing a hand on the side of her neck, grazing her jawline with his thumb, "Raat ko batana... kitna pagal kiya tumhe... phir main bataunga."

She kept staring at the closed door of washroom even after he was gone. Was he hinting at what she was thinking? Well, now that she had taken a step, there was no going back.

After lunch, they left together in Sameer's car.

The uneasiness started gripping Naina towards evening in office. She could feel the symptoms. By the time they started for home, a dull pain had started forming in her stomach.

"Naina, aaj Ayush ko pick karke pizza khane chalein? Usse kitne din se nai khilaya." Sameer suggested as they neared Ayush's daycare.

"Aaj nahi. Weekend pe chal padenge." She wanted to reach back soon, and grab a cup of strong, steaming coffee.

"Chalte hain na. Aaj weather bhi achha hai, thand nahi hai. I'm sure Ayush enjoy karega." Sameer insisted.

"Please Sameer. I don't feel like going anywhere. Agar itna hi dil hai toh tum aur Ayush chale jao." She said in a clipped voice, trying to hide the irritation.

Sameer gave her a quick glance. Her brows were creased.

"Kya hua, Naina? Tum kisi baat pe tensed ho?" He asked gently.

She stayed quiet as they had reached their destination.

"Nainaa." Ayush ran to her, excited to tell her about activities in his new school.

Unlike other days, she did not lift him up, just ruffled his hair, "Aaj bhi ma'am ne star diya notebook mein?"

"Haan diya. Aur ma'am ne bola meri handwriting nice hai." Ayush hopped towards the car, holding her hand.

When he noticed the big, black car instead of her usual one, his face lit up, "Sameer papa lene aaye hain mujhe."

"Hey champ." Sameer gave him a high five as he jumped in the back seat.

"Sameer papa, aapko kaise pata chala mujhe aaj big car mein hi jaane ka dil kar raha hai?" He wrapped his arms around Sameer's neck after putting his bag away.

Naina smiled, "Chal jhoote. Mujhe toh tune aisa kuch nahi bola."

Sameer kissed his small arms, giving her a teasing grin, "Yeh Ayush ka aur Sameer papa ka secret hai, tumhe kyon bolein."

They both waited for her reply, but she leaned back in her seat, smiling plainly.

Ayush came close to Sameer's ear, whispering, "Naina gussa hai kya? Maine uski car ko small kaha isliye?"

Sameer shook his head, whispering back, "Nahi, woh gussa nahi hai. Bas thak gayi hai. Thoda rest karegi toh theek ho jayegi."

"Okay. Toh main usse disturb nahi karunga." Ayush quietly settled in his seat.

Sameer yet again marvelled at the understanding of such a small boy. He was worried about Naina though. Something was bothering her. There was no work related issue, everything in office had been routine. And nothing related to him either... they had spent half a day with each other today, reveling in some blissful moments.

His eyes darted at her, as it hit him. She was probably dreading their time alone at night... because he had teased her. He had to make her comfortable.

"Naina, tum bohot tired lag rahi ho. Aisa karna, aaj jaldi so jaana. Main Ramdhari ko kahunga dinner jaldi laga de." He rubbed the side of her arm.

She merely hummed, keeping her eyes closed. It was indeed a perturbing reaction. Sameer was more worried now, but drove in silence till they reached home.

"Ayush, tu Sameer ke saath apne room mein chala ja, mujhe kuch kaam hai. Sameer, please isko kapde de dena." Naina directed both of them, and quickly walked away.

Sameer watched her retreating figure curiously, then got out of the car. Taking Ayush's bag, he raced with him to his room, in between asking Ramdhari to prepare milkshake and cheese sandwich.

"Sameer papa, main big hun. Aap rehne do, main apne kapde khud le lunga." Ayush opened his cupboard and fished out a set of clothes.

Though Sameer wanted to rush to Naina, he knew that Ayush liked to spend time with them after he came back. Sitting down with him, he listened to his incessant chatter about school, teacher, friends, and even the gatekeeper. As always, he had made friends easily, and everyone had started to love him here too.

"Phir maine guard uncle ko bola mere papa ki aisi moochein hain hi nahi." Ayush doubled up in laughter as he narrated a funny incident.

Sameer pinched his cheek, "Tum bolo toh main rakh leta hun big big wali moochein."

"Nahi nahi." Ayush vigorously shook his head, "Aap aise hi handsome lagte ho. Mujhe school mein Aarish ne pucha tha 'tere papa hero hain kya'."

Sameer laughed louder, "Hero? Phir tumne kya kaha?"

Ayush clasped his mouth, giggling, "Maine kaha mere papa hero hi hain aur Naina heroine hai."

"Badmaash." Sameer scooped him in his arms, "Naina se maar khaani hai kya?"

"Naina mujhe thodi maregi." Ayush said matter of factly.

Sameer agreed with him, then made him sit in front, "Achha Ayush, tum mujhe Sameer papa bolte ho toh Naina ko mumma nahi toh kam se kam Naina mumma bulaya karo. Kyon nahi bolte?"

Ayush slapped his forehead, "Offo, aapko itna bhi nahi pata. Abhi tak aapki aur Naina ki shaadi hi nahi hui. Usse mumma kaise bolun?"

Sameer bit his tongue, "Sorry. Mujhe yaad nahi raha." He then lowered his voice, as if sharing a secret, "Lekin ab tum Naina mumma bolne ki practice start kar do. Bas two weeks mein shaadi ho jayegi."

Ayush waved his head, thrilled, "Main toh already practice karta hun. Maine inn wale mumma papa ko bhi bataya. Unhone bhi smile kiya." He pointed at the picture of his parents in the frame.

Sameer gathered him in his arms again, kissing on top of his head, "Tum mere bohot achhe wale bete ho. I'm so proud of you."

After Ayush had eaten, Sameer played an animated show on TV for him, and went to his room.

Once in her room, Naina dropped her bag on the couch, grabbed a change of clothes, and rushed to the washroom. Feeling a bit relaxed in her comfortable outfit, she called up Ramdhari, asking for a cup of extra strong coffee, and telling him to give the regular one to Sameer as well, who was with Ayush.

She then searched her side of the closet, drawers, even the bag... but medicines were nowhere. Probably she forgot to get them when she shifted here.

"Oh no. Ab kya karun. Ek toh time se pehle, upar se itna dard. Kya musibat hai." She sank in bed, scrunching her face.

A sound at the door made her sit up properly, "Aa jaiye bhaiya."

Ramdhari walked in with a tray, two steaming mugs on it.

"Maine kaha tha na Sameer ko..." Her words died down when she saw Sameer entering the room.

"Woh Bhabhi Sameer bhaiya ne hi kaha yahan laane ko jab hum Ayush baba ka milkshake leke gaye the." Ramdhari stated.

Sameer took the tray from him, "Chal ab jaake jaldi se dinner ready kar de. Naina bohot thak gayi hai, usse jaldi khana hai."

Before she could speak, Ramdhari nodded and scurried away.

"Sameer, aisa kyon bola? Main kuch bhi kha leti. Waise bhi, aaj mujhe dinner karne ka mann nahi hai." Naina frowned.

Sameer placed the tray next to her and perched on edge of the bed, in front of her, "Kya baat hai Naina? Aakhir kis baat se tumhe itna gussa aa raha hai? Mujhe toh batao."

She shook her head, "Kuch nahi. Sach mein thak gayi hun. Bas coffee chahiye."

Sameer handed one mug to her, and took the other one. He sipped his coffee, and made a face, "Ramdhari ne aaj do baar coffee daal di kya? Itni strong kaun peeta hai."

Naina had taken a sip too, and realised that Sameer had, by mistake, taken the one she had got prepared for herself. She snatched the mug from him, and held out hers, "Exchange ho gayi thi. Strong wali meri hai."

"Lekin itni strong toh tum bhi nahi piti." Sameer gave her a strange look, watching her sip the almost bitter coffee, and placing the mug on her belly in between. The frown on her brow eased a little as she did so.

He waited till she finished her steaming coffee, then placed his hands on the bed, on her either side, "Naina, agar tum meri subah wali baat se pareshan ho toh I'm sorry..."

"I'm on my periods." She said looking into his eyes. She had no intention of telling him, but she could not bear to see him form such opinion or feel guilty about what happened between them. Nothing that he did or said had troubled her.

Sameer stared at her, unsure of how to react.

She lowered her eyes, "Sameer, actually mujhe pain ho raha hai. Bohot discomfort hai. Main tumse kehna nahi chahti thi lekin main nahi dekh sakti agar tumhe subah ke liye koi guilt ho. Subah ki kisi baat ke liye at least tumhe sorry bolne ki zarurat nahi hai. Sorry mujhe bolna chahiye, subah ke liye bhi, aur abhi ke liye bhi."

He straightened, and took her hands in his, "Tum sorry zarur bolo... lekin apni bewakoofi ke liye."

She was puzzled.

"Aur kya. Itni si baat ke liye mujhe kab se dara rakha hai. Naina, main husband hun tumhara. Mujhse yeh baat share karne mein tumhe ek second ke liye bhi nahi sochna chahiye. Batao, tumhe kya laa ke dun, jisse tumhe aaram mile." He smiled gently at her.

She bit her lip, before asking with hesitation, "Kya tum... pharmacy se medicine le aaoge? Main ghar se laana bhool gayi."

"Mujhe naam text kar do, abhi leke aata hun." He stood up.

An hour later, Naina felt the pain subside considerably after medicine.

"Dinner yahin mangwa dun?" Sameer asked.

"Nahi Sameer. Mujhe sach mein nahi khana. Bilkul dil nahi hai." She made a face.

"Achha kuch aur khana hai toh bata do. Main order kar deta hun." Sameer offered.

She pursed her lips, "Kuch bhi nahi. Please. Ek din khana na khane se kuch nahi hoga. Mere saath aisa bohot baar hota hai. Raat ko sone se pehle ek aur medicine le lungi, subah tak pain khatam ho jayega. Please tum jaake khana kha lo, warna mujhe guilty feel hoga."

It was another hour later when Sameer came back to the room. Naina was reading a book.

"Abhi pain hai?" He asked.

"Thoda sa." She replied.

He came ahead, and brought out something from his pocket. Naina's eyes grew wide as she looked at the large bar of chocolate in his hand.

"Tumhe kaise pata mujhe chocolate khane ka dil kar raha tha?" She grabbed it quickly.

Sameer shrugged, "Kisi aur situation mein hote toh keh deta ki mujhe kaise nahi pata hoga, main tumhare dil mein hi toh rehta hun..." He smiled sheepishly when she looked at him with narrowed eyes, "Maine google kiya."

She raised her brows.

"Naina, I was worried. Tumhe pain bhi ho raha hai, khana bhi nahi kha rahi, itni strong coffee banwayi... mujhe laga yeh sab normal nahi hai. Isliye google pe check kiya. Wahin se pata chala aise mein chocolate khane se achha feel hota hai." He uttered in a defensive tone.

She opened the wrapper and took a bite of chocolate, "Toh ab main normal lag rahi hun? Ya kuch aur information chahiye."

"Tum deti hi kahan ho koi information. Pehle hi bata deti chocolate ke baare mein toh main tabhi le aata jab medicine laaya tha. Tumhe itna intezar nahi karna padta." He sat next to her, holding the chocolate and making her eat, "Mujhe achha lagega agar tum mujhse demand karogi. Aisa nahi hai ki tum khud nahi le sakti jo tumhe chahiye, lekin ek doosre ke liye kuch khareedna bohot satisfying hota hai. Aur baatein share karna bhi. Tum choti se choti baat mujhe bata sakti ho."

She held his hand and turned the chocolate towards him, urging him to take a bite. After he did, she cupped his face with one hand, "Mujhe ek chocolate wala kiss chahiye. Uske baad tumhari baahon mein sona hai."

He grinned, "With pleasure." Shifting ahead, he held her face within his palms and gave her a gentle kiss. Nibbling at her bottom lip, he savoured the sweetness which was much better than chocolate. He held her delicately, like a doll... she clutched his tshirt, melting in the soft strokes of his tongue. He caressed her lips with feathery softness of his own, without putting much pressure, making an unknown sensation burst like fireworks inside her... till they ran out of breath.

Only when they parted did she realise how unkempt she must be looking, dressed in her worn out tshirt and lowers, her hair tied up in a messy bun, probably some chocolate marks on her mouth... and she had asked him to kiss her. Nervously, she ran a hand over her hair. In a second, he knew how she felt. If only he could tell her how she looked. He couldn't, because there were no words that could do justice to her beauty.

She met his eyes, her own glowing like burning embers in the soft yellow light of the room. He could not move his gaze away. There was something so different in her, that he had not seen in anyone in his entire life. She was like magic. Holding her face again, he leaned in for another kiss. Her scent that lingered around him made his heart go wild, and the kiss turned fierce as he conquered her mouth. Parting her lips, she let him deepen it, her lips moving feverishly against his.

"I'm... I'm so sorry. Main... did I hurt you? Tumhe zyada pain toh nahi ho raha? Tumne mujhe roka kyon nahi?" His eyes filled with regret the moment he moved back.

"Kyonki main nahi chahti thi tum ruko." Her gaze held no sign of discomfort as she smiled, "You don't hurt me... you heal me."
