After everyone took in a nice good breathe in the icy environment of the void, they knew they could relax as the body Actor had taken over was still unmoving.

After a few minutes of quiet and nervous chatter, Dark finally woke up in that body.

It caused quite the scare for a few moments until they realized Dark's other body that he had tried to fight with them with was gone. AND he was actually acting like himself.

Dark yawned greatly in his hand, "I want to sleep for . . . a year"

Mia giggled, "Well I doubt that's gonna happen when you go back home, Dark. You won't be able to get ANY rest at all!"

He gave her a deadpanned look, "Great . . . . . . . . oh no . . . . Wilford . .. . I wonder how much chaos he's caused"

Needless to say when they got Dark back home, Mark was there, too. After the whole fiasco with the 'beast' a couple weeks ago, he decided to stay with his egos for a bit to watch over them since 'Dark' had wandered off in his mission to use Mia.

There was a big bash celebration to welcome Dark back home but honestly he wasn't feeling it and fell asleep in the nearest chair.

The Septics decided to go home, themselves, exhausted. They all cuddled up together on their best couch in front of the TV surrounding Jackie and Anti and Mia stuck close to each other . .. with Jameson and Sean leaning on either side of them.

It only took less than a minute for Mia to pass out but no one was surprised.

She had used up far more power and energy than any of them could have ever imagined.

Anti had his arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer so she laid her head on his chest . . .

but he himself didn't look to even be in high spirits.

Chase grunted tiredly, "What's the matter?" he whispered to him, "You both finally figured shit out, right?"

Anti just shrugged softly.

Jackie stared at the two but he could no longer be mad like he had been before he had died, "You two finally kissed. About time"

Anti half glared at him, "You're the one that hated the idea of us together in the first place"

Jackie shrugged this time, "That was until I actually saw how good of a couple you two really would make. At the amusement park . . .. You dorks are perfect for each other"

"I don't know" Anti still held her, though, "I'm still not sure"

"About WHAT?" Marvin and Henrik were guzzling down coffee together, equally looking as confused.

Henrik scoffed at Anti, "You vere the one pining over her for weeks! I know you were waiting for HER but now she has-"

"What, how did YOU-" Anti didn't like that they could read him so easily now.

Sean stopped him, "He's worried Mia just said that in the heat of the moment. I mean honestly, I'm not entirely sure, either, but I don't think Mia would just say something like that if she didn't mean it. I think you know that, too, Anti"

Jameson rolled his eyes, 'You both are imbeciles when it comes to your own feelings'

Anti snorted, cracking a smile, "I guess"

But something else was bothering him, too, and he didn't know how to say it. Or if he even should.

The next day, everyone woke up sometime around noon, sleeping in.

Mia had finally picked herself out of bed (even though she didn't know how she got there). Did someone tuck her in?

And now she was smelling something wonderful but first thing was first.

Coffee.

Everyone was in the kitchen, even Anti, but she only had one thing on her mind first. She made her coffee and dumped tons of sugar and cream in it, stirred it up and took a nice long sip. Even Henrik didn't chastise her this time. Why not? She deserved it after everything she did.

She turned back to them and took another sip, "Morning"

"Afternoon" Marvin corrected her, "Feels still like morning though, I guess. We ALL slept in"

"I'm making pancakes!" Chase grinned and nudged Anti who was cutting up fruit next to him, "AND I got Anti on cutting duty so you know they're gonna be a perfect bite!"

"Stop" Anti warned the father but he just chuckled to himself.

Mia locked eyes with Anti but then the two immediately looked away from each other, embarrassed about something or other.

Jackie seemed mad but what Mia didn't realize was he was mad about these two idiots acting like yesterday never happened, "So . . . . you guys kissed yesterday. You two gonna finally start dating or what? We all know you two love each other. Stop fucking acting like kids and go for it already"

Mia spat out her coffee in shock and the lights flickered in Anti's own surprise.

Sean stared at Jackie, "Man, you've changed. . . you sure you're our Jackie?"

"Shut it" Jackie rolled his eyes, "I just think it's about time you two stop lying to yourselves is all. Fucking actually talk about your real feelings for one another, please. This cat and mouse game is getting old. Look, it's just . . . . life is short . . . don't take it for granted like I did"

Of course now with that out in the open, the two were even more so nervous.

Chase flipped a pancake and was about to console the two when his phone started ringing. He answered it but everyone could hear Stacey on the other end crying and shouting at him for him to come home already and how worried she and the kids had been.

When he got off the phone, Chase blinked and put his phone in his pocket, handing Anti the spatula, "Take over will ya? So . . . I gotta get going home." he chuckled.

Chase walked up to Mia, though and and hugged her tight, "You did good yesterday, kid. Proud of ya"

Embarrassment forgotten, she hugged him back, leaning into his comfort, "Thanks Chase"

He pecked her forehead, "Love ya, sis"

"Love you, too"

Chase turned to Anti, "As for YOU" he came back over to him and hugged him as well and whispered in his ear, "Stop worrying and just talk to her. Jackie may be a pain sometimes but he IS right" he pat his shoulder and grinned at him before telling the others good-bye as well.

Anti finished the pancakes and everyone ate in moderate silence, Mia and Anti silently glancing at each other across the table here and there.

After 'brunch', it was time for Sean to go home, too and of course, he made the good-bye long, not even wanting to leave them, especially Mia. "I'll swing by again tomorrow. I bet Evelien will wanna check on you guys, too"

And then it was just the Septic egos except for Chase.

Anti gave Mia a look and they wandered upstairs, ignoring the others teasing.

They decided to go to Mia's room and as they shut the door, it was almost sort of . . . awkward?

Anti seemed especially nervous as his neck started to bleed, "I uh . . .. so . . ."

Mia gave in and went to get a cloth, handing it to him so he could place it on his neck, "So . . . .."

" . . . Do you . . . ." he sighed, not sure how to say it, "This is new to me, you know . . . this emotions . .. THESE emotions . . . but I think I DO . . . ." he growled at his own shitty way with words.

Mia honestly didn't know what to say, either, but she couldn't just let him do all the talking here, "I know what you mean . . . . I'm new to this stuff, too. But I think I've felt this way for a while now . .. even before the Ferris Wheel and amusement park."

Anti swallowed loud but it was half blood, half nerves, "I've never in my life felt so nervous around anyone . . . but for some reason . . I like this kind of nervous. It's just . . . I don't want you to one day say that what happened yesterday between us was just a heat of the moment thing."

". . . . . " Mia was quiet but she was thinking, herself, "What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean. I think you just don't want to admit that I might be right. You don't want to think about it. That Celine and Chase and Sean . . . everyone's ideas of what our relationship could be. I know you're scared. I am, too"

"Scared? You?" she teased lightly, trying to sway the subject.

Anti blinked but his stare didn't waver, "Yes . . . . I'm scared because I'm afraid you'll think one day you can do better . . . that one day you'll fall in love with someone that . . DOESN'T look like your brothers. . .the other Septic egos and I . . I don't know if I'd be able to handle it. So just tell me now, Mia. What you really feel"

Mia had always been reserved with contact or relationships beyond brotherly. She didn't know what she was doing when it came to those sort of things. Not that she'd ever know anyway. Anti was the first person she had ever felt this way for.

"B-but. . . .you DON'T look like them . . . not to me"

Anti narrowed his eyes at her, "Okay, well now I'm concerned if Actor hit your head too hard"

"No, I'm serious! I . . . your hair is different . . . your eyes . . . . the way you talk and move . . . your scruff . . . you're completely different from any of them and not only that . . but you were you first person to ever really see me. To support me in the way I felt. To see my pain and . . . loneliness. . . know it or not, Anti . . you saved me from myself"

"I could actually . . .say the same, really" Anti took her hand in his and pet the top of her knuckle softly, "I was a completely different person then than I am now. You realize that, right?"

She nodded, "Yeah . . I mean before I really even got to know you, I knew were you kind of . . .deranged and . . . murderous"

Anti snorted in a small laugh, "Funny thing about that . . . I haven't felt that way for a long time since I moved in here. It's because of you, Mia . . . . everything about you I think has just . . . made me feel all sorts of new things and really, I hated it at first but then . .. you'd just come into my room demanding I play Minecraft with you or to just talk and . . . I stopped hating the feelings a long time ago. All that was on my mind . . was you"

Her heart practically fluttered and at first she thought she'd have a heart attack, "I . . . Anti, I . . . you know what was on my mind when I told you I loved you?"

He blinked at the words but offered his silence so she could answer.

"You were begging me to use your power . . . . to finish off Actor but all I could think about was how dumb it would have been for me to not tell you how I feel before I died . . if I were to die"

"Well that doesn't bode well for me" Anti muttered but Mia swat him lightly on the shoulder teasingly.

"What I mean is . . . I DO love you, Anti. I have for a while. I just always kept it inside and to myself because I was afraid that maybe YOU didn't feel the same way. OR maybe it was just my weird emotions telling me I loved you because you were so different from Jackie . . . but then I realized none of that mattered." she suddenly reached up and took his face in her hands, rubbing his cheeks and she could have giggled at how much he melted at her touch.

"It doesn't matter because that's just how I feel. I love you and I can't help that . . and that's not gonna change as long as you love me, too"

Anti couldn't take it anymore and dove in to kiss her.

Mia felt that powerful feeling again just as she did yesterday when their lips touched. So full of emotion and love. This way, though . . she had never felt love like this before and it was damn near intoxicating. They way he felt and was so gentle with her. She could stay like this forever.

Anti, meanwhile, felt like he'd explode even while kissing her. He felt all these new things rushing through him. Her scent and touch . . . . her voice and the look in her eyes. How soft she was. He always loved how she was just a big chubby. It never bothered him to think about holding more of her.

But now he really COULD hold more of her and that thought exhilarated him. Not that it didn't her, either. Things were getting too much at once but neither cared as Anti shoved her against the wall and tilted her head to kiss her even deeper.

But suddenly, his mind returned to him all at once and he parted from her with a heavy pant, "I . . I'm sorry. . . I . . . I didn't mean . . I love you, too, Mia. I meant to answer you with . . words but . . uh"

Mia pecked his lips softly, shutting him up, "It's . . okay" she was just as riled up, "But maybe . . maybe we take things slow first, huh? I don't wanna rush into a physical . . thing so soon. Is that . . okay?"

Anti pecked her nose playfully and smiled, "Of course it is . . . we'll only do whatever makes you feel comfortable, Mia. I still get kisses, though, right?"

She giggled but kissed him softly again, "Yes"

"Good . . ." he pulled away and smirked, "Now then . . . wanna play a game for a bit?"

She smiled. She was glad this part of their relationship wouldn't change at least.

Epilogue

"MIA! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SUIT!?"

But she was gone, nowhere to be found.

Jackie ran into the living room where Anti was with playing a game of chess with Dark. Since the big Actor fiasco, Mia convinced Anti to come along again to the Iplier house and hang out with Dark. Needless to say, a good friendship was forming between the two. Mia and the others could really tell there was a bromance starting to bloom.

"How the fuck does that thing go THERE?! This stupid game doesn't make any fucking sense, ya pompous asshole!"

Dark rolled his eyes, "Would you rather paly the children's version . . .checkers?"

Anti snuffed, "At least then I'd have a fucking chance, ya glorified encyclopedia!"

"Are you confusing me with Google?"

Jackie shoved Anti a bit roughly on the back, getting his attention, "Hey! Where's Mia at!? My suit is missing and I KNOW she has it! She's doing something to it, I just know it!"

"How the fuck would I know where she's at?"

"She's YOUR girlfriend!"

"So?" Anti snorted, "Doesn't mean I keep tabs on where she's at ALL the time. Geez, no wonder you're single"

"oH fuck off!" Jackie shoved him again before running off calling for Chase.

Anti looked guilty and Dark sighed, "You DO know where she is . . don't you?"

He shrugged, "Not my place to tell. Hey did you know Jackie's being honored in the city or whatever tomorrow? Something about a homecoming or return and a bunch of his volunteering or something"

Dark rolled his eyes, "He's being honored by the city tomorrow for his duties as a hero and his return AS a hero and Mia stole his suit now of all times? Oh boy. You know, I thought maybe she'd grown OUT of her pranking and games when she got into a relationship"

Anti laughed, "Ah . . .nah . . I totally encouraged it. It's nothing bad, though. Don't fucking worry about it. Instead, you should worry about how I'm totally gonna kick your ass at checkers!"

Dark didn't really believe him but it wasn't his business, either.

Jameson was already before them with the checkers game signing about how he wanted to go against the winner.

"Sure, James" Anti snickered, "But only one game. We gotta go to Sean's soon"

Dark narrowed his eyes, "Why?"

Anti wouldn't answer and instead went on with another question, "Hey how's Dark Chica doing? Did she like the toy Actor voo-doo doll I got for her?"

Dark just stared at him but sighed, knowing he wouldn't get anything out of him.

Meanwhile, Mia was actually at Sean and Evelien's place with Marvin and Henrik.

"You sure this is alright?" Sean was worried, "You TOLD him, didn't you?"

Mia didn't say anything which only confirmed Sean's suspicions, "Mia! Again?! You just can't give him a break, can you? One of these days, you're gonna give him a heart attack."

"What can I say? Mess with my candy, you get a free heart attack" she grinned.

Henrik shrugged, "Zhat is why I am here"

"Say what happened to that Cloak ad anyway?" Mia suddenly asked, "You guys never aired it. The one with Jackie and Dark . .. . or Anti and . .. Actor fighting"

"Mark said something about Dark not wanting Actor's face online in public or whatever. Ruins HIS name." Sean clarified, "So we're just gonna do another one next month for the next drop"

"Okay, as long as I'm not in it, sounds good!" Mia would always hate to be involved in their ads. but everyone else, including Anti, were welcome to their fifteen minutes of fame. They could have it. She didn't want it.

Evelien brought the doctor some top of the morning coffee but looked equally as concerned, "Isn't Jackie's ceremony tomorrow? Mia, you know after everything he's done for you lately, this isn't exactly fair"

She shrugged, "He'll get over it. This is too good not to mess with him a bit. At least I know Anti and Chase got my back. This is why I didn't let Jameson in on it"

"Hey what about ME?!" Marvin huffed, "I'm all for it! I'm even helping YOU this time. Without MY magical powers, you wouldn't have been able to do this!"

Mia glared at him, "Well you refused to do it yourself since you think my fashion sense is so stupid! Of course I had to do it, then!"

Marvin just waved his hand in an 'oh whatever' motion.

But everyone halted when there was a knock on the door.

"Wonder who that is?" Sean wondered out loud.

"Uh . . . Food delivery!" the voice from outside hollered and Mia perked at the sound of that.

"Oh really!? Sean, you ordered?! Good! I'm starving!" before Sean could explain that, no, he did not order anything, she rushed to the door ahead of him and swung it open.

To reveal a very angry Jackie.

She shrunk, "Oh hey, Jackie . . . you're early"

"I KNEW IT! YOU STOLE MY SUIT AGAIN! MIA, WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT DOING THAT!? AND YOU EVEN GOT CHASE AND ANTI INVOLVED?! COME ON! I THOUGHT YOU-"

But then he looked over to see his suit and went silent.

"What did you do to it?"

Mia scratched the back of her head nervously, "Well uh . . . like I said, you're a little early so it's not completely done but. . . ."

"JACKIE! WAIT UP!" Chase ran behind him, "Fuck" he panted heavily from the reckless driving and running, "Hold on a second. Whew. I need to start working out again . . ."

Just then Anti glitched in the room with Jameson and Dark and Chase lost it.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? YOU COUDLN'T HAVE GLITCHED ME WITH YOU, TOO!?"

Anti saw the situation and shrugged, "You were already running after Jackie and I was too lazy to stop you. Hey babe!" he greeted Mia.

Anti walked over to Mia and side hugged her to him, "So? What you think of it? She's been working hard, huh?"

Jackie still couldn't believe it, "You . . . you designed a new suit for me?"

Mia blushed, "Yeah . . . I thought you maybe needed an update for your big day tomorrow! What do you think of it?"

Marvin grabbed it and brought it over to him to see, "I thought it was too dark and outdated but now that you're here with it, I can see that maybe it really DOES suit you, you uptight bitch"

Jackie frowned at Marvin but took the suit, "It's . . . It's great, Mia" he smiled at her, "I love it"

They all smiled happily but then Jackie growled again, "But why for the love of god did you have to make me freak out so much? I KNOW you did it on purpose!"

She shrugged, "Eh, it was fun seeing you all scared and flustered. Just like when I painted polka dots on your masks. Remember that?"

"Sean's birthday. How can I ever forget that day?" Jackie deadpanned, "But seriously . . I love it. Thanks Mia"

Anti rolled his eyes, "Oh enough of the soft shit. We celebrating or what? I agreed to keep my mouth shut for food"

Mia swat him with a warning, "Anti!"

"And you" he fixed, "Kept it shut for YOU, too" he grinned and pecked her on the lips.

"Aw, it's about time you lovebirds gave us some PDA!" Stacey peered behind from the kitchen, "You guys are so cute!" she squealed.

"aW FOR FUCKS SAKE! STACEY!" Chase shouted, "I thought you were swinging by later with the kids!? WHY DID I RUSH HERE TO STOP HIM?"

"That's your fault. The kids are with the babysitter and I wanted to see this moment, too, you know!" Stacey giggled but put her phone up, "Just finished ordering for dinner for all of us! Dark, you're welcome to stay, too! We're gonna PARTY!"

Dark blinked at the bubbly woman but shook his head, "I'm afraid I must decline. I've been away from my family long enough as it is today. Anti, I expect you to learn more of chess when I come back by next week. Mia . . . for once, I'm not appalled by one of your pranks. I'll get you more chocolate when I return to Paris next month. Wilford wishes to go to . . .'disco' there . . . something about the best raves or something. Good-bye"

With that, he disappeared and the others started to celebrate. With everyone there, it was a party now.

Jackie was finally relaxed and Chase stopped bitching about being out of breathe after Henrik gave him a placebo pill to shut him up. Marvin and Stacey started to pass around drinks but of course Anti had to get into a shots competition with Jackie and Chase. Chase won but now everyone was drunk. They danced to music and Marvin and Mia made cool lights in the room like their own rave.

The next day, Sean and Evelien started cleaning up but Marvin was nearly immune to hangovers and helped them, too. It was great that Mia finally figured out how to disperse their own powers to them without her using any of HER energy so now they could do whatever they wanted themselves without her help.

Anti snuggled with Mia on the couch and groaned, "How much time do we have left until that stupid ceremony?"

Mia snored in response and he bit her ear a tad just to wake her and she woke with a start, of course.

"The fu. . .. told you to stop that . . asshole"

Anti snickered, "Why? I love the response I get"

"You love my death glare?"

"Absolutely. Turns me on. Now get up. Gotta shake this hangover off before hero's medal of bullshit"

Jackie was leaning on Anti's back but was awake when he started to move, "Gee . . thanks for that"

"Oh fuck off. You know what I meant" Anti shoved him off of him and got up, "I'm sure it's not gonna be all that boring to watch" he stated sarcastically.

Several hours later

"Jaysus fuck that was just too much for me" Anti groaned, splaying on the couch like he owned it.

"Oh don't be like that!" Mia teased, "I caught you smiling! And you clapped once, too! I saw it!"

Anti half-glared at her, "You swore you'd never tell them of my soft side"

Marvin snorted, "Bitch please, we already knew you were a teddy bear a long time ago.

"You vere programmed with human emotions, Anti so it's not all surprising" Henrik jumped in.

"Anti? Human?" Jackie snickered, "Only time I've ever seen that is when he's with Mia, the simp"

"As if you're not the big shot of simps here!" Anti argued, "Get out of here with that bullshit. You were simping for her long before I even got here!"

"Boys, please" Mia tried to stop them from arguing, "You're both betas. Just deal with it"

"Oh really?" Anti whispered in her ear, "You don't think I'm an alpha, baby?"

She looked him straight in the eyes, "If you gotta prove it and talk about it continuously, then no"

Anti fell back as if he got shot, "Ah! Fuck . . Any more and you'll actually damage me!"

Mia just laughed at him but Anti caught a moment and pecked her on the cheek, "Hey . . . I have an idea for tonight. You up for a quick date?"

Anti ignored Jackie and Marvin making kissing faces at him and gushing trying to embarrass him.

Mia was sort of surprised by his sudden mood change but smiled , " . . . .Sure . .. where to?"

The other Septics knew where Anti was planning and didn't say anything. It had been a month now since they started dating and they knew he had been talking about doing something special for her.

Mia was kind of floored when Anti glitched them to the amusement park. The sun was almost getting ready to set, too which made the open sky looks way too gorgeous.

"Here. . let's get some food, yeah?" Anti immediately led her off to the ice cream stand and got ice cream and popcorn.

"Anti . . not that I don't love this . . but why here so late?"

He gave her that signature smirk she loved so much, "Well I heard that this place was gonna try the fireworks display again since last month's . . . . chaos. I figured we'd give the Ferris Wheel another shot" he shrugged.

"Aww" she gushed, "Are you recreating our 'almost' first kiss?"

Anti just sniffed and ignored the question, dragging her off again to the Ferris Wheel.

They chatted about other small things and the ceremony and the night before as they got on.

"How did Jackie end up leaning over me last night? I don't remember that" Anti asked her.

Mia shrugged, "I don't know. You two got really close last night, I think. You both were drunk off your asses. I think at one point you two were crying and hugging each other because you both called each other 'bro'"

Anti glared at her, "That did NOT happen"

"I got a picture of it" she went to show him but he pushed her phone down.

"It . . didn't . .. . happen"

Mia just shrugged, "Eh, well . . . I'll always have this memory to myself then"

He rolled his eyes, " . . . . . . .Still can't believe our lives led us to this"

She looked out onto the ocean and smiled, "Yeah . . it almost seems to unreal"

"Yeah" Anti stared at her. She looked so beautiful to him, especially in the fading orange glow of the sunset, "Unreal." he put a piece of popcorn to her lips and she unconscious opened her mouth, taking it.

"I fucking love you . .. feeding me popcorn, you get bonus points for that"

Anti snickered and fed her another bite, "I love you, too . . . You know I'd do anything for you"

"Who's talking like the simp now?" she teased, "I'm kidding . . . . sorry" she still smiled, though.

Anti knew it was just a joke and smile, too, "You know you'd do NEARLY anything for me, too"

"Maybe . . probably"

The sun finally went all the way done and the stars shone bright in the sky.

Anti sighed but still couldn't look away from her, "The stars look like your light, you know . . . you're my star"

Mia blushed red again, "You're gonna make me faint or something! And don't you mean, I look like a star? Not the other way around?"

"Nope . . . The stars look like YOU. You're more beautiful than them"

"Anti-"

Suddenly a firework went off and they jumped slightly.

The last time they did this, Anti didn't like it because the fireworks made him glitch at every boom. . . but with Mia with him, he looked forward to every loud explosion and crackle. It'd help to mask how loud and fast his heart was racing, anyway.

They watched the fireworks for a moment but Anti had other things on his mind and rubbed her cheek softly with the back of his hand, making her look up at him.

It almost felt like they hadn't left that night, it was so surreal.

They moved in quicker this time, though, and at the sound of another firework, their lips touched. Running their hands through each other's hair, on their cheeks or neck, they couldn't get enough.

The moment was intense and like fire and it was only in a moment of getting a breathe when Anti realized she was glowing, her flames surrounding them but he didn't feel anything but soothing warmth.

She was so beautiful to him and he smiled.

"I love you so much, Mia. . .. ." he leaned his forehead against hers and held her close, "You'll never know just how much"

She kissed him again suddenly, making him glitch but she wasn't effected by it. When she parted, she held him even closer, "I love you, too, Anti . . . . I never want this moment to end . . . ."

Even as the fireworks ended, they stayed close and turning on the Ferris Wheel.

"It'll never end, Mia" Anti whispered to her, "Like it or not, you're stuck with me"

"Guess you were right all along, huh?" she teased, "About me being made for you? But you were wrong about the context"

"Nah, uh-uh . . . It's what Celine said . . . we were made for EACH OTHER. Not that I believe that all that soul mate drivel . . but this is close enough"

Once more they kissed and they knew then and there . . ..

Yeah . . .. this was how it was meant to be.
