"Get your stank ass breath out my face Kasey." I heard Cory said.

"Well get your face out my face then you won't smell my stank ass breath." Kasey said back.

"Crystal if you put your foot in my mouth one more time I'm going to bite it off." Keenan mumbled.

Where the fuck was I? Was I dreaming? Why did I felt swell up?

"If y'all don't shut the hell up. I'm kicking y'all out this hospital." My dad said.

"That's them." Sam said.

Why the hell I'm in the hospital?

"If y'all wake up my baby I'm going to kick y'all asses." My mom said.

To late for that.

"Man you can't do nothing you pregnant......oow, stop auntie damn. You hit like a man." Cory said.

"That what your short ass get." Kasey said.

"Yall some hard head ass kids any. Always cussing..start putting soap in y'all mouth." My dad said.

"Hello good morning everyone." I heard someone said entering the room with us. "He still not awake huh?"

I felt someone touch my forehead.

"No he's not. This the worst he ever got." My mom sound like she was on the verge of tears.

"Do you guys know what cause his allergic reaction?" I guess this was the doctor.

"Naw man. Came home and his tall lanky ass was stretch out on the floor, not breathing." My dad said.

Why does that sound like a lie?

"Well I'm going to send the nurse in here to put some more medicine in his iv. Maybe the swelling will go down. He's a true fighter I tell you that." The doctor said.

"Aye doc you mind going to the vending machine to get me a bag of chips and a mountain dew. I have no money on me right now. I am broke."

Nobody but Cory.

"Don't pay him no attention. He was drop on his head all his life." My mom said.

I started coughing laughing. My eyes open, all eyes was on me.

"Omg you awake." My mom said and rushed to my side.

I looked at Keenan and Cory. I saw both hurt and betrayal in their eyes. I looked away..

My mom hugged me close. My dad walked up to the bed and punch me in my chest.

It didn't hurt just sting a little.

"Glad you awake yungin."

"Why am I in here?" I asked them. Damn my voice sound ugly. I already dont have a manly voice, but damn.

"You ate peanuts or something." My dad said then gave me the eye.

I guess cuz the doctor was still in here.

"Kendrick Jr. I'm going to get you some medicine to get the swelling down in your face." The doctor said then walked out.

"My face swell up?"

"Hell yeah shit look fucked up." Cory said.

Keenan elbow him.

"Man what the hell happen? Why am I in here?" I said again.

"Your girlfriend tricked you and told you the cookie you been eating was a coconut cookie. You ate it. And it was actually a peanut butter cookie..She kicked you in your face." My mom said.

Why would Angel do that to me? I thought she love me.

I swear I don't remember nothing at all.

"Why would she do that? She treated me so good." I said sadly.

Cory and Keenan rolled their eyes upward.

While Sam, Crystal, and Kasey just looked at me with a dumb face.

"Well son she not shit. She the enemy. Her pops was the man your mom and Aunt Nae killed." My dad said.

So this bitch been trying to set me up the whole time?  Turn me against my family? She failed!

"So what we going to do with her?" I said.

Everybody stared at me shocked. What? They expect me not to retaliated back against someone who tried to kill me. Don't matter if I fall in love with her or not. The love was one sides anyway. So fuck that bitch.

"Well we don't know where she at. Or who she working against. Obviously she going to try to come after the whole family, or just you kids."

"Key word, Dad is Try." Keenan said.

"That's my boy." My mom high five Keenan. He just grinned like a little ass kid.

"But what if she working with older people too?" I asked.

"Don't worry about that, I got that. And Sky you not getting in shit. You nor Nae. Along with the girls." My dad said.

"My days of being a thug is over. I rather just sit back, eat, and watch tv." My mom said.

"Won't you get fat doing that?" Cory said.

My mom looked at Cory so fast and busted out crying.

Now why the hell would he say that.

My dad walked over to my mom and hold her while giving Cory the death glare.

"What I say?" Cory asked innocently.

"Nothing just let it go." Keenan said.

Cory shrugged and just looked at my parents shaking his head.

The nerve of this guy.

"Where is Uncle C, Aunt Nae, Grandma Kay, Cat and Grandpa Sam." I asked.

"Lil C and Naenae are coming later. My mama is on vacation. And your other parents the fuck if I know." My dad said.
