"Make a transmission to Earth, Eki!" Purple growled to a irken.

 Eki, a irken with golden eyes, squeaked and ran to the transmission desk to send a message to Earth. 

Purple scratched his collar and called for the other tallest, named Red. 

Red drank the rest of Purple's smoothie and levitated to his co-leader.

 "What!?" He growled.

 "We're almost to Earth. Want to send a transmission to Luna already? I think it's time she knows the truth." Purple's violet eyes reflected the view of jupiter that spun next to their ship. 

Red sighed, "Afraid so. We're about a week away from the planet. She will soon know." Both tallests glared at Eki. They jumped and opened a transmission..

Luna was busy drawing out a blueprint when she got the call.

And answered it almost immediately.

"My Tallest! What do you guys need me for?" Luna said, saluting to her tallest.

"Luna...." Red started.

"Yeah?" Luna replied, sounding confused.

They both sighed.

"Luna, you are no invader. In fact, you're not even a functional irken. Your PAK is defective and broken. Your a DEFECT. You're too weak and kind to fit in with the other Irkens."

I-i don't get it...." Luna says, trying to stay calm.

"Luna, get it through your skull. Your a DEFECT. Your PAK is broken, making you too kind and nice and weak. We lied to you about your assignment. We just wanted you gone." 

Then, Luna finally got the picture.

They wanted her gone.

"Goodbye..."

The call disconnected, and Luna was left staring at the blank screen in shock.

EVERYTHING she believed, was a lie.

She's a defect.

Luna looked at her hands. They were shaking.

She didn't know what this new feeling was, it was unlike anything she'd felt before. 

She felt something wet brimming her eyes, slipping down her cheeks.

 Was she......crying? 

....

She didn't know anymore.

Luna felt her entire body shake as she fell to his knees, clutching her head in her hands tightly as she sobbed.

"Why am i so....stupid?" She asked herself quietly.

"Mistress?" asked Mu, slipping off the sofa and landing on the floor silently. 

Mu had been silent the entire time, only watching as the Tallest told Luna the entire truth. 

"I-i'm....just a defect....i was never meant to be alive in the first place...i-i'm broken..." said Luna shakily.

Mu, sensing that her mistress was in distress, gasped and quickly dashed over, wrapping her arms around Luna in a tight and warm hug.

Luna looked down at her SIR unit, tears in her eyes. "Mu..." said Luna, having the urge to lash out at the kind robot, but didn't have the guts.

She felt a new wave of tears escape, hugging her SIR unit close.

 She just wanted some sort of comfort right now.
