Disclaimer: Though this may be shocking, I am not Japanese(gasp!), A troll-I mean Devil- I mean New York Times Best selling Author, or a British woman. This means, sadly, that I am not Hiromi Arakawa, Rick Riordan, or J.K.Rowling, which also implies that I don't own any of the main/side characters except for Augustine. Sorry to disappoint.
A/N: This chapter is going to be very long, like 3-4k words long when pared with the next chapter. Since I decided that this chapter was getting to long already, I'm splitting it into 2 parts before continuing on with the Golden Trio's POV. Be warned.
Carter stared out of the train window, watching the trees whiz by as the people beside him chatted amiably.
Becoming 11 again brought many memories to everyone. For some, like Percy, Frank, etc, it was a remembrance of a time when they tried to live a normal life. For others, like Annabeth and Jason, it was a time where they didn't know what to do with their perilous lives. And for people like Nico and Hazel, it was a nostalgia of a time long past.
As for how they were turned 11, that was all in the now distant past.
/Flashback/
Carter and Sadie had arrived about 7 hours after Annabeth called them, at 12:00 AM. The camp was dark, and few lights brightened the pathways as Carter and Sadie stumbled towards the Big House.
On the porch of the newly painted Big House, Annabeth and Percy were waiting. Annabeth held 2 bags of toiletries for them while Percy held a change of clothes. Sadie and Carter accepted gratefully, walked up to the guest bedrooms on the second floor, placed everything down, and then headed for the bathrooms and showers.
Once they were done cleaning up, the siblings said goodnight and fell asleep. The night had peaceful and uneventful.
In the morning, the siblings were eating breakfast with Percy when they heard a loud nose behind them, like Freak's buzzing wings. They turned and saw a massive plane fly over the camp. As they watched, 6 colorful objects were ejected from the plane. It took a moment, but once the plane was gone, everyone in camp could heard loud cursing in a mix of English and Nordic languages.
The colorful objects, parachuters, fell on to the grassy area in the middle of the cabin omega.
Immediately the campers grabbed their weapons and ran towards the mysterious invaders, Carter and Sadie included.
However, when they overturned the parachutes, they found Annabeth's cousin, Magnus, arguing loudly with 5 other men in a language nearly no one but Chiron understood. Apparently, judging by his facial expressions, the cussing was pretty bad.
They campers waited for a moment as Magnus calmed down. The other men smiled(almost all. 2 didn't and 1 just did nothing) and introduced themselves as brothers from the Nordic states. Magnus apparently found one of them in the woods, asked for help, and received personal escortment from 5 delegates of Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland. Wow. What really seemed weird was the men's age. None of them could be older than 25, and yet they were delegates at UN Conferences for 5 Nordic countries.
The campers just accepted that. They'd seen way weirder. One of the Aphrodite boys and his sister, Nhya and Xavier, offered to give a tour to the mortals. They could see through the mist, so why not?
While the campers returned to their breakfast, the demigods, wizards, and titaness gathered at a folding table that'd been set up in the corner of the dining pavilion. The campers(A/N: I'm just gonna call the group that right now) discussed their plan of how they were going to start the Incomplete Prophecy. In the middle of the table, the entire time, lay the silver hand mirror.
"Okay. The prophecy doesn't specifically say who our opponent is. I do know from reading ancient texts that this prophecy actually takes place in the past." Annabeth listed.
"Wait. In the past? How's that even possible? What, next you'll tell me it takes place in Egypt?" Leo complained.
"Hey! What's so bad about Egypt?" The siblings asked.
"Anyways, yes. It does take place in the past, but for whatever reason, the effects won't show up until we get there. Sorta weird. Also, if we never go, according to the Athena Cabin's notes, we'll be stuck in a time paradox until we go back. Like a never ending time loop, with none of us ever realizing we're not moving forwards." Annabeth confirmed.
"So that obviously means we need to find a way to go back in time." Frank thought aloud.
"Anyone got a DeLorean or Hot Tub around here?" Leo asked jokingly.
Hazel looked confused. "What does that have to do with time travel?"
Leo looked like Hazel had committed one of the cardinal sins. "You're joking right? OMG, you're not. Come, I'll explain to you the wonders of Spielberg an-"
Calypso glared at Leo. "Not the time and place Leo." She then looked at the group. "So, first off, according to my own research in the Library of the Hesperides, We also need to be at a point in time in our lives physically where we hadn't met each other. An age where we can blend in with wherever we're infiltrating. And based off of that, the prophecy actually takes place in Scotland.
"Scotland?" Everyone asked.
"To recap: We need to go to Scotland, time travel to the past, de-age ourselves to, I dunno, 11, and complete a quest?" Jason asked.
"Yep." Annabeth confirmed, popping the p.
Magnus looked perfectly unmoved. "So what? The god, Cornos or whatever, is the god of time, right? We can just ask him and your magic goddess, He Caty, to help us, right?"
All the Greeks stared at him in shock.
"DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO ONE THING I TOLD YOU? KRONOS WAS ONE OF THE MOST EVIL BEINGS WE'VE EVER MET MAGNUS! HE'S ALSO DEAD! AND IS HECATE, NOT HE CATY!" Annabeth yelled.
Magnus just covered his ears as a furious Annabeth(Who btw, had 0 sleep and feminine problems that day) yelled at him. Once Percy was done calming her, he continued.
"Okay, Kronos won't help. But what about his essence from when you destroyed him? Wouldn't that be able to work?"
Everyone stopped. It made sense, but also it didn't. If Kronos was gathered again, he may be able to reform. Chiron helped clarify.
"Yes, actually. While his physical essence would be gathered, we've already destroyed the conscious. There is no possibility of him reforming. And as for the idea of time travel and de-aging, I've got that covered."
"How so?" Piper asked, twirling Katoptris between her nimble fingers.
"Meet your new Magic teacher, Hecate! And as for time travel, I'll let you know when the time comes."
Hecate formed in front of them, dressed in black robes made of fine silk.
"Hello. I want everyone to stand in a straight line and to face me. This needs to be quick."
The campers did as she asked, and one by one, Hecate gently touched everyone's head before whispering, "Doceo."
Knowledge of magic flooded in, and soon, everyone got the same story in their heads. The quest seemed so much clearer. Obviously Hecate knew what she was doing. They were students(all except Sadie) from a special branch of Ilvermorny for a sect of religion located in Long Island. They had received a special opportunity to become foreign exchange students at Hogwarts, and had accepted. This was their 1st year of proper magic training, although Ilvermorny did host several camps in which they all attended to prep for magic school. The camp was known as Camp Half-Blood, because whether you were pure, halfblood, or muggle-born, you could attend. The students would also either have the choice of staying in one of the four houses and participate in the house games and such, or they could stay in a guest dormitory located near the Transfiguration classroom. They agreed to do the houses, for they could spread out and gain information quicker. They would request a separate dining table however, so they could interact at some point in the day.
Also, when Hecate touched them their bodies tingled.
"That's the de-aging. I'll work for about 10 years, give or take. It activates when you go back, and it'll disable when you return. For us, it'll seem like you never left, but for you, you will all live as 11 years olds in 1999 and will grow up for 8 years in the 90-00's before returning. You must never refer to the future, for that can be dangerous. And as for getting to Scotland, the device you're using to travel through time actually will bring you right where you need to go. Any more questions?"
No one spoke.
"Good. Ron, hand them the Time Turner. Give it to the most responsible one."
"Hecate, I've asked not to call me Ron. And as for this," He pulled a fine golden chain out of his vest pocket. A small golden hourglass with golden dust glittered inside. He handed it to Leo, surprising everyone.
"Why me?"
"Because you have your tool belt. As long as you're the owner of it, it'll only give you what you put in. No one else. And it can't fall out either. Keep the belt with you, but I've put a charm similar to Riptide's on it. It shouldn't be able to go anywhere without you knowing for more than a day." Hecate explained.
"How does the Time Turner work?" Sadie asked.
"Notice how there are 6 rings on the op of the hourglass. You simply just pull on the ring you want to adjust, and then spin the hourglass however many of those units of time you want to go back. Anyone who wishes to leave with the time traveler just has to somehow be able to let the magic run through them like electricity, so I suggest touching the source of the person holding the source. The 6 rings are minutes, hours, days, weeks, years, and decades. Don't worry about setting it up for your trip there, I've already done that. Just spin it 2 times."
And with that. Hecate vanished.
Chiron pawed the ground. "I've written a list and instructions of what you need to get before the school year. Living arrangements have been made at The Bubbled Toad for 1 week, so don't dawdle on buying supplies. And money is in vault 4 at Gringotts Bank. Just hand them this key."
Again, Leo was given the supply. He slipped in gently in his pocket before reaching in again. The key reappeared. Good.
Chiron cleared his throat as he surveyed the children standing before him. "I wish you all the best of luck. Make us proud, young ones." Leo nodded and fingered the Time Turner.
"Ready guys?"
Everyone grabbed ahold of him. "Ready."
Leo twisted it 2 times, and with that, they were gone.

Augustine's POV(B/c why not)(still flashback)
We awoke sprawled across the grass in a gated circle, surrounded by a road. I stumbled on a tree root, and started to fall when Rachel yanked on my arm. I flew back, and fell on my bum instead of my face. Lucky me. Anyways, I looked around, absorbing our strange surroundings. Cars circled us in the roundabout, and the area was small. I pointed at a sign.
It said, "Percy Circus", naming the small circle we were in. Percy laughed as he pointed to a nearby street sign. They were at the corner of Great Percy St and Vernon Rise. Leo took out a map and pointed towards Vernon Rise. "This way. We need to get to the Leaky Cauldron, and because of that, we need to take..." He squinted. "Swinton St to A501 to A400. It's off of Charing Cross Rd."
We all walked, looking at our surroundings as we took in the reality of the situation. We were in the past. Mortals walked all around us, unfazed by our orange and purple T-shirts. I also realized I was 11. Jeez, I was still tall. 5' 5"(152.4 cm). But honestly, it looked way worse for Nico, Hazel, Calypso, Percy, Annabeth, and Jason. They were struggling with fact that their bodies were now either weaker or from literally decades/centuries ago.
We got to Charing Cross Rd about 45 minutes later, and we found ourselves in front of a grubby pub.
"The Leaky Cauldron" Will read aloud.
"Looks like a place where'd they sell drugs and end up in bar fights." Jason muttered.
Thalia and Sadie grinned at each other. "Sounds like my kind of people. Let's go in."
She pushed open the doors to reveal just a little grubby bar. Wizards, witches, and small goblin-like creature ran around, making it look like a regular chaotic scene.
Leo looked at the paper. "Guys, it says to go out the back exit and to tap on the bricks in the illustrated pattern below with a magic wand."
We found the exit and did as the paper instructed. The bricks turned and twisted to eventually make an arch that led into a shopping district. We filed in, and the arch deconstructed behind us. Piper peered at the map.
"Chiron said all of our money is at Gringotts, which should be just up ahead."
Frank inconspicuously turned into an owl and flew above before turning back.
"Yep. There's a Gringotts right up ahead. Just need to get through this crowd first."
Percy looked so anxious that it bothered everyone.
"What Percy?" Hazel asked.
"Hazel, I'm surprised none of you guys have noticed the weird looks we're getting. We are from the 2010's guys. This is the 1990's. We need to adapt to their culture ASAP."
Everyone quickly became conscious of how conspicuous we looked and quickly made our way to the bank. The less time in public like this, the better.
When we entered the bank, Annabeth and Leo talked about the architecture and design while the rest of our group walked up to one of the tellers, who was a goblin.
"Excuse me sir, but can you take us to our vault? Number 4?" Piper charmspoke easily.
The goblin sneered at her. "Key?"
"OH! THAT'S WHAT I FORGOT!" Leo yelled as he ran up to us. He fished out their key and handed it the the goblin. The goblin fingered it for authenticity before grinning maliciously at us.
"Only 4 per cart. And for you easy stomachs, one speed only."
That made us all look at Thalia, Hazel, Percy, and Nico. While sympathy was important, so was our safety. We all agreed(except those 4 of course) that those 4 would ride together. Why not? Everyone else split into groups. Group 1: Auggie, Rachel, Carter and Sadie. Group 2: Annabeth, Leo, Magnus, and Calypso. Group 3: Will, Frank, Piper, and Jason. Group 4: Thalia, Hazel, Percy, and Nico.
The goblin, who was named Meephip, slipped into the first cart with the key. He pulled a lever, and with that, we were off, spiraling into darkness.
