Alexa's POV

    The letter changed back and landed  onto the ground. I picked it up using my magic and stared at the building before me in awe.

Suddenly, the school disappeared and turned into what seemed like a classroom. I quickly - like 3 seconds - looked around and saw other people in the classroom as well. Not wanting to disturb anyone or look like an idiot, I walked to the back of the classroom and sat down at an empty desk. I put up my mini cape-hoodie and read a book. Or at least it looked like I was. I was actually observing the other people in the room and sometimes hearing their conversations. I managed to find out that they were also new students. Not long after, A woman appeared out of nowhere and the class immediately stopped talking.

    "Good morning class! I am you're principal, Ms Maggie (😉)," she announced. "Now I know all of you are new here and you probably don't know much. That's why you have your invitation letter. If you have any questions, for example what's your first class, the answer will appear on it. Anyways, enough of this boring speech. Class dismissed!"

Students started pouring out of the class, probably to explore, as Ms Maggie disappeared. I guess I should check out my dorm. I took out the letter and opened it
"Room 666. Go down the hall way until you reach the first turn. 5th door to the left."

    I followed it's instructions and luckily didn't get lost. I took a breath before opened the big oak doors. Inside were 4 beds that had different names carved on the edge. Next to each bed was a small cupboard with books on it. I walked in and placed my bags on the bed. As I started packing someone came in.

    "Hi!" I greeted, turning around to face them. "I'm Alexa! Nice to meet you!"

    "I'm Scorpio and uh, nice to meet you too!" she replied. "Have any idea who are other 2 roommate are?" Hardly had she asked that when 2 other girls arrived.

    "Um, hey?" The girl in black (NOT RACISM PEOPLE) said. The other girl sheepishly made her way to her bed, the taller doing the same. There was a long awkward silence as we unpacked our stuff. After I few minutes, I spoke up.

    "So since everyone's here, let's introduce ourselves! I'm Alexa! This is Scorpio. You to are?" The taller gestured to the name on her bed.

Artemis.

    The other said her name quietly, too quietly. "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" I asked politely as she seemed like the quiet and shy type.

    "Max," she said, fidgeting with her yukata (white robe). I hummed in response, making my bags disappear in a snap of a finger as I flopped on the bed and closed my eyes. It was pretty comfy to be honest, almost fell asleep. Probably looked like it as the others started whispering.

    "Hey, do you think she's asleep?" Scorpio asked. I assume that someone -most likely Artemis- shrugged due to what Scorpio said next.

    "I say we should play a prank on her. Ooh! Let's draw on her face!"

    "No! That's mean! And it's out first day! It'd be smart not to get one of our roommates to hate us," Max replied.

    "What do you think Artemis?"

    "I really don't care whether you do it or not."

    "Hah! Two versus one!"

    "Buuuuuut, I never said you shouldn't do it. In fact, I want to see how this goes so, do it Scorpio."

    I felt someone lean over me and hear a marker cap pop off. Oh this is going to be hilarious.

3rd person POV

    Right before the marker could touch Alexa's face, the room dissolved to a black void; Leaving only the beds and the girls in. Max screeched and hid under the covers. On the other hand, Artemis and Scorpio looked around the room in panic and fear.

"What's happening!?" Scorpio asked, getting into a protective/battle like stance. Her eye started turning black. Wings, tail and horns growing as a scythe appeared in her hands.

"I don't know!" Artemis screamed, wings sprouting from back.

All three girls looked at Alexa, hoping she knew something about what was happening. However, she was gone. They all turned around and faced the middle of the room, only to find a certain witch rolling on the floor, laughing her guts out. The girl calmed down as the room started to appear again. But that calmness soon turned into confusion and anger.

"What the hell just happened?!" Artemis screeched, wings disappearing. The same happened for Scorpio as Max got out of the covers. Alexa tried to say something but all that came out of her were giggles and snorts. When she finally stopped her laughing fit, she took a deep breath and explained.

"I'm sorry for scaring you like that. But the look on your faces though! It was priceless! Anyways, what you saw just now was just a small illusion. None of us were in any danger. But I seriously, I'm sorry for scaring you like that."

"Har har, very funny Alexa," Artemis sighed. "Just, don't ever do that again ok?"

"Ok, sorry," Alexa mumble. An awkward silence filled the room once again before Max broke it.

"Hey, how did you manage to do that? The magic I mean. It seemed pretty powerful. I mean, you made an illusion where the whole room turned into a black void and somehow got yourself into the middle of the room without us noticing."

"Yeah, she does have a point," Scorpio added, Artemis humming in agreement. Alexa gave a nervous chuckle and scratched her neck.

"Um, I-"

MWEHEHEHEHEHE CLIFF HANGER! Also if anyone of the OC owners are reading this, sorry if you're Character is acting a little bit, off.
