★Chapter Two★

Virgil's POV

Janus and Remus always said, "No Cryptids have dared to interact with the humans." I have proven them wrong yesterday. Three humans are helping me survive. That reminds me about... That. And that.

"Virgil!" What if they found out!? If they did, they would never forgive me! But if I told them, they might- "Virgil. Come on."

🏳️‍🌈Time Skip🏳️‍🌈

We were in the Main Room. It has a couch in a pale gray and a TV on a TV stand (duh) with a Computer right next to it. Roman was tuning his guitar by the couch with Patton playing around with cat pillows. There was also a rather fluffy rug on the floor with a glass coffee table.

"Do you have any rules you want us to follow?" Mm...

"Uh... Yeah. I do. When I'm in my room, please leave me alone. If you need something, knock."

"Then I'm terribly sorry for disturbing you." I forgave Logan and I went back to my room. No evidence of them knowing that I'm not human... Yet...

Roman's POV

"Perfect! So, what did he say?" I stand up from my guitar case, to see a disappointed Logan. " What?"

"He said not to disturb him." Ha! Doubt that will happen, my dear Patton.

"Basing off of the way he was acting when I went in his room, I'm not really surprised that he didn't check about our rules. He seemed anxious about something, and looked like he needed a break." We kept on talking and talking until Patton started getting sleepy. I volunteered to help him get to bed. We all said goodnight and had some sweet dreams.

Third Person (It's mostly speaking)

"You didn't do what!?" A sliver-tounged voice rose in anger.

"... You... Wouldn't let him be independent. Hell! That's the reason he can't transform!"

"Oh!~ Sounds like-"

"They ran. Next time you see them, don't tear their lungs apart."

Virgil's POV

Today is surprisingly peaceful. I was expecting- *ding dong, bing bong*

"I'll get it." I stood up from the couch to walk to the door. "Hello-"

"Oh thank everything holy you're alive!" Pull away! "Calm down! It's me, Joan. Calm down." I stared at them like they were crazy. "It's really me Virg."

"Hm. Oh. Hello. Is something wrong." How did Logan say that so relaxed while pushing Roman

"Oh. I'm Virgil's friend. Name's Joan. They/Them pronouns please." How- Wha- Huh? They're so- d-d-d-du da- CALM! How?! Both of them!? *confused Virgil noises*

"I'm... gonna take a shower." As a way to process what the actual hell is going on.

Logan's POV

I wonder what's taking him so long? Hm. His room is close to the bathroom.

"I'm going to check on him." ... Nothing from the bathroom. I knocked on his door and he didn't respond. He could be combing his hair. "Virgil? Are you-"

"I'm fine."

"I'm a psychologist, Virgil. People tend to not tell the truth or not know they're okay. Are you sure?"

"I'm... I'm sure." Hm...

"Alright." Still not believing him. However, forcing people to talk about their feelings will most likely put stress on them. "He says he's fine. I'm going to take a quick nap." Some sleep is recommended when you feel uneasy.

Why does he seem familiar? He seems... Too familiar. Like, I should know him. As a friend. As a friend.

(Yes. I'm starting Analogical.)
