Chapter III
Chapter III
"Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who wait, and the best things come to those who never give up."
-Anonymous
Andrea got her bag out of her car and slung it over her shoulder. She looked up at the house and sighed. She nodded her head firmly before walking up to the front door. When she reached for the doorknob, a loud scream sounded out.
Her eyes widened as she quickly fought to open the door. When she couldn't get it to open she knocked on the door. Hopefully someone could hear her.
The door opened and Troy stood there, headphones in his ears. He gave her a tight smile before walking away. Andrea followed him inside and shut the door.
Another scream rang through the house. Andrea could hear sobbing come after this one too.
What was going on?
Andrea looked around, attempting to locate the source. She looked towards the living room and saw the others sitting in it. Andrea walked over. Aristide looked up. "Ah, hello, Andrea."
"What's that-" another scream "-screaming?" Andrea asked, frowning.
"That's Timothy. Something's wrong, his eyes turned red and he growled at us when he walked in. So, something is up. We don't know what though, but he seems to be in-" a loud scream came, followed by a ton of crying "-pain." Aristide finished, looking up the stairs.
Andrea nodded. "Poor Timothy."
She looked at the others, who were busy whispering amongst themselves. Andrea sat down next to Aristide and looked to him. "What's up with them?"
"Oh, they have a deep-seeded grudge against Monster Hunters. See, in the past, they were known to simply hunt down and kill. Now, however, they only intervene if a species is getting too close to the human world. Though, that hasn't stopped the Supernatural from hating their guts."
"I see."
"Hey, Andrea?"
"Yes?"
"Did you know Caleb was a Monster Hunter?"
"No, I didn't. I didn't even know the world expanded to the Supernatural. Honestly, I thought only humans existed, and Caleb never mentioned it, so I never even began to consider it." Andrea said, looking down. Why hadn't her brother told her?
Suddenly, a loud 'no' rang through the house, along with even more sobbing. Andrea watched as Darrin came down the stairs, looking both stressed and annoyed. Andrea stood up. "Is Timothy okay?"
Darrin looked up. "Oh, it's you."
Andrea frowned. "What?"
Darrin sighed. "Tim's fine. He is perfectly fine!" Darrin was shouting now.
"I'm sorry I asked, Darrin." Andrea said, looking down.
Darrin said nothing. Instead, he growled angrily and punched the wall. Hard. The house shook slightly. Darrin growled before tearing his bleeding fist away from the wall. He stared at the dent. "I'll go get the stuff we brought to fix walls." He mumbled as he walked out.
Estal sighed. "At least he's fixing it."
Charlotte shook her head. "What is wrong with these people?"
Zoe sighed, but said nothing. Troy shrugged. "Maybe they just hate us and wish our downfall secretly."
Draco shook his head. "I highly doubt that is what they want."
"And who are you to say that? Are you a Monster Hunter?"
"No, but-"
"Then you can't speak for them." Michal said, narrowing his eyes at Draco.
Draco huffed and turned back to Salvin and Rayna, who immediately began to talk amongst themselves.
Andrea heard a shuffling and then turned around to see Darrin carrying in a few buckets. He sighed before he put plaster in the dent and smoothed it out. He was good at making it even, so Andrea assumed it was not his first time fixing a wall. Then, Darrin put white paint over it. Estal frowned. "The wall is tan, Darrin." He said.
Darrin said nothing as he sat there. A few moments later Garroth came down the stairs. "You rang?" He asked, looking at him.
Darrin jabbed a finger at the wet paint. Garroth sighed. "What, you forget the incantation?"
"I'm terrible at them and you know that." Darrin said, narrowing his eyes.
Garroth sighed. "Caleb is better at them, seeing as that's how his weapon works. Why didn't you call him?"
Darrin shrugged. "I figured you'd be better."
Charlotte groaned. "What's the incantation?"
Garroth's face flushed as he looked at her. "Uh, it's, uh-"
Darrin lightly shoved Garroth back. "Easy, lover boy."
Garroth blushed again. Darrin chuckled to himself as he pulled out a slip of paper. He wrote something down on it and then handed it to Charlotte. "I'm not a major in spells, but you are a witch, so I guess you'd be best."
Charlotte looked down at the paper. She sighed before saying the incantation. We watched as the white paint turned to match the color around it. Darrin ran his hand over the paint. It was completely dry. "Perfect, thank you." Darrin said, standing up.
Andrea smiled and looked towards the stairs. Timothy was limping down them with some help from her brother. Garroth looked up. "Caleb, he should be resting!"
Timothy whimpered slightly before responding. "I'm fine, Garroth. I just need to sit down."
Caleb led Timothy over to a couch and gently set him down on it. Timothy smiled. "Liber,"
Andrea watched as her brother frowned. He shook his head and looked around. "How'd I get here?"
Timothy chuckled, but then coughed. Garroth sighed. "Tim, did you put a minor spell on Caleb?"
"Maybe?"
"How'd he manage that?" Troy asked, staring at Garroth.
Garroth sighed. "We memorize spells that takes little life force. We can't perform huge spells, but we can perform a few minor ones at a time."
Charlotte frowned. "I didn't know that."
"It takes a lot of training. I didn't even know Timothy knew how to do that spell."
"I can do many things, Garroth." Timothy said, grinning. However, a pained look came onto his face.
Darrin pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why'd you want to come down here anyways, Timothy?"
"Well, I figured I could tell them now."
Garroth shook his head. "You are much too weak. And besides, what if he jumps out?"
Timothy scowled. "I can control him."
Darrin let out a fake laugh. "You couldn't even control him when you looked at these guys! How are you going to be able to control him when you speak with them? They won't believe a word you say, you'll get angry, and you will probably end up murdering someone! You should know that he won't let you stay calm enough, Timothy. He never does."
Timothy clenched his jaws. Andrea watched as they flashed red slightly, but Timothy quickly snapped them shut. Darrin smirked. "See? You're having trouble keeping him down even now!"
Garroth stepped forward. "Darrin, shut up."
"Why? I'm trying to show him why he needs to stay up in his room. He is obviously having trouble controlling him."
A low growl escaped from Timothy. He looked up, his eyes a dark crimson as he lunged for Darrin. Caleb was there in a second. "Et hic captionem, gentes!"He shouted, flinging his chain at Timothy.
The chain wrapped around Timothy's body and sent him flying to the ground. Timothy growled loudly and tried to break free from the chains, but couldn't. Garroth walked forward and held his hand out. "Somni, requies, regenerare."
Timothy's red eyes rolled into the back of his head and his body went limp. Caleb pulled on the chains slightly. "Veni,"
The chains lifted up and followed Caleb as he led them up the stairs. Darrin stood there, his eyes shut. Garroth clenched his fist. He suddenly whipped around and punched Darrin right in the middle of his face.
Darrin hit the ground, clutching his nose. Garroth shook his hand. He shook his head. "Staltus." He spat before walking to the stairs.
Andrea wlaked towards Darrin, still numb from what she had just witnessed. She bent down towards him. "Are you okay?"
Darrin turned to face her. HIs nose was red and bloody, but otherwise, he looked fine. "Yes," he replied gruffly. Andrea watched as he stood up.
"Excuse me while I go clean up."
They watched as Darrin walked away. Andrea gulped before grabbing her bag. "I'm going to go find my room." She said as she walked away.
What had just happened?
****
I moaned as I laid in my bed. My whole body ached, and the nausea still plagued my stomach. I clenched my jaw.
Stupid Darrin, attempting to jostle him out of me.
Damn him! He knows how sensitive I am right now! Maybe that was his plan, hide everything from the others.
I shook my head. Caleb and Garroth had left at my request. I wanted to be left alone. However, that was all thrown away when I heard a soft knock on the door.
I grunted, and the door slowly opened. Andrea stood there. "Timothy? I'm sorry for barging in, I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I'm fine, Andrea."
She nodded, but didn't move. I sighed. "Is there anything else you want to ask?"
"I- I fell bad asking, but I want to know what happened back there."
I sighed and slowly sat up. "Come in," I groaned slightly.
Andrea came in and shut the door at my request. She sat down in the chair and looked at me, waiting for me to start.
"Well, what you saw back there was my wolf. Well, he's not technically mine as he is a whole other being himself, but he still provides me with our wolf form. Anyways, you've read Norse Mythology, right?"
"You mean like Thor and Loki in the Avengers?"
"Kind of, but more authentic. Anyways, one of Loki's children is named Fenrir, and he's a wolf. He is the wolf that consumes Odin during Ragnorak, which is the Norse version of the Apocalypse. So, every odd something years, Fenrir possesses someone. We don't know the pattern, but we know the last time he popped up, he was in President Eisenhower."
"You mean, like, World War II Eisenhower?"
"Yes. We don't know why, and there is no record of Eisenhower being a werewolf, so we don't know why he was chosen. Anyways, I am that next person. Fenrir is possessing me and I can't do anything about it."
Andrea's eyes widened when she heard it.
It was the truth.
I was possessed by Fenrir, the Norse Apocalyptic Deity.
How fun.

Yes, shorter chapter, but still good, no?
I hope so.
Anyways, what do you think of that reveal? I tried to make it somewhat interesting, but I don't know.
So, I hope you enjoyed it! Just tell me what you think!
