Earlier....

The Avengers heard someone pounding down the stairs and then the door to the stairway burst open revealing an angry, yet intimidating, blond girl.

Now.....

Tony smirked looking at the girl. All she held was a dagger and a tranquilizer gun. "You may have broken in by yourself, but you can't expect to beat the Avengers on your own." He said smirking.

The girl only smirked seeming in that moment like she was the one that held was in control not the Avengers. "I didn't come alone," she said.

And then like in a dramatic movie the elevator opened behind her and several more kids stepped out. There were five of them beside the blond girl. There were three girls beside the blond one. One held a bow, one what appeared to be an electrified spear, and the third had a sword. Then there were two boys. One had a tool belt around his waist and a hammer in his hand, the second had a bow.

"What happened?" asked Tony mockingly, "what daycare did you run away from?"

The leader, the blond girl, only rolled her eyes. "Just give us back Percy and we'll leave peacefully. No one has to get hurt."

Clint chuckled, "That's right, we don't want any of you to get hurt so why not just turn yourselves in now."

Thor squealed. "Oh my Odin! It's the heroes of tales! I am greatly honored to meet you, oh great heroes!!" The Avengers glared at him questioningly. He shrunk back. "Forgive me friends but can you not see the great heroes before you?"

"Thor" Annabeth said glaring at him. "The oath?"

"Oh yes! The oath I made with the dem..."

"Thor!" Annabeth yelled.

"Forgive me, I shall now be silent." He said backing into a corner.

"Aren't you going to help us fight?!" Tony said having called the Iron Man suit to himself.

"I shall not fight these people." He said. Tony rolled his eyes knowing it was useless to argue with him.

" Enough!" Natasha said glaring at everyone. "Avengers attack!" she yelled charging forward.

Steve ran forward grumbling, "that was my line...." He pouted.

Natasha began fighting Annabeth. Annabeth had had to abandon the tranquilizer gun because Natasha was too close to use it. Currently they were both fighting with daggers. Natasha would be lying if she said she wasn't surprised at the girls skill and looking around at the rest of her teammates fighting these intruders she had to wonder if these kids were child soldiers. If they were she was determined to help them. But first they had to be captured.

Steve charged forward but before he was halfway there he was slammed into the wall. He looked around but couldn't see anyone nearby. When he tried to pull away he realized his shield wouldn't budge from the wall. He noticed Tony was in a similar predicament having had his suit slam him into the ceiling. He was also having troubles ungluing himself. Steve looked around as he got his arm free of the shield trying to find who was doing this. There. The African American girl with the sword at her waist had her hands out and a concentrated look on her face. Having freed his arm he charged at her. She gasped losing her concentration as she reached for her sword.

Clint saw Tony falling from the ceiling and thought about all the ways he could use that as blackmail. He was currently firing arrows at the group while dodging arrows from the girl archer. Neither of them were getting anywhere she would normally shoot his arrows out of the air and then he'd be forced to dodge one of her own arrows.

As Steve charged at the girl. Before he could reach her something slammed into his side causing him to be thrown to the side. He looked up spotting a hammer. At first he thought it had been Thor but then noticed it was the boy with the tool belt.

"Booyah! Did you see that Miss Metal Detector? I, Leo Valdez, boy supreme have defeated the Mr. American Flag!" Somewhere in the room Tony snorted trying to hold back his laughter.

"Shut-up Repair Boy."

"Ah, come on! Girls love a bad boy!"

Bruce was kind of standing awkwardly. There wasn't enough room to Hulkify.

Before Hazel and Leo could continue arguing Steve charged again and began fighting Leo who kept taking things out of his tool belt and Steve has to wonder how much could fit inside the seemingly bottomless tool belt.

Tony tried shooting his repulsers at the group but suddenly the boy with a bow transformed into a dragon blocking the blast with its scales. Despite all the crazy thing the Avengers had seen a boy shifting into a dragon was still pretty alarming.

Clint didn't have long to dwell on the dragon because the girl with the electric spear was now trying to electrocute him. He was having to block her blows with his bow in one hand while trying to stab her with an arrow in his other hand. It was also an electric arrow. He would've made some comment about it if he had not been defending himself from the girl with the spear and the girl shooting arrows.

The walls in the room were now scoured with holes, cracks, and blast marks. Frank turned back to a person and Thalia shot an electric arrow at the Iron Man suit disabling it. Tony just called another one in. Steve had meanwhile been trying to sneak back up on Hazel and Leo after having recovered his shield.

"Oh no you don't!" cried Leo setting his arms on fire and advancing on Steve. He had some clothes that Calypso made him so that he wouldn't burn them up. Steve gasped, stumbling back not expecting the boy to set himself on fire. Leo smirked. "American Flags, very macho." He said.

Tony turned as the new suite assembled itself around him. "Doth mother know you smoke?"

"Ha!" Clint called out laughing, having overheard.

They seemed pretty well matched. Of course neither side really wanted to kill the other if they had, well, that would be a different story. I mean, Frank could have turned into a dragon and blasted almost all of them to smitherings. On the other hand, the Avengers probably have some sort of weapon they could have used. As it was the tranquilizer guns the demigods had brought had been forgotten in the battle and the Avengers weapons kept getting blocked.

Natasha and Annabeth were still fighting seeing as they were pretty evenly matched. They kept switching between fighting with their daggers and using hand-to-hand combat.

"Your plan won't work" Natasha hissed, "You'll never overpower us for enough time to free the boy."

Annabeth smirked, "Who said that was my plan?"

Natasha's eyes widened in realization. "Fall back!" she shouted, "It's a distraction." She called breaking free from her fight with Annabeth. But it was too late. As soon as she had finished talking two more kids and Perseus ran in from the other side of the room. Now the Avengers were trapped between the two groups.

"What's up Wise Girl? Miss me?" Percy said smirking. Annabeth rolled her eyes.

Earlier......

Two figures stood in front of a cell . They pressed a button to open it and a boy with black hair and sea green eyes stepped out.

"Hey Percy." Jason said.

"What brings you here, Jason?" Percy said smirking.

"Come on, both of you!" scolded Piper. "Annabeth has a plan."

Present.......

"Ready?" Annabeth called.

"I was born ready!" Percy said raising his hands.

A sound of trembling came from the walls and suddenly pipes broke free breaking through the walls and pouring forth gallons upon gallons of water. The Avengers were engulfed in seconds. Percy maneuvered the water so that the Avengers including Bruce and Thor were trapped in a corner of the room. Though Thor could have gotten out but he was too busy fangirling about seeing the famous demigods in action. Annabeth ran up to Percy.

She scowled at him, "I'd punch you right now but I don't want you to lose your concentration and let them get away." Percy smirked.

"Then I guess I should just stay here then." Annabeth scowled at him.

"Come on guys," called Piper. "We need to get going. Jason and I managed to knock out all the guards we saw when we went to get Percy but they could be waking up and I have no doubt that there are more. I'm pretty sure Chiron would rather mind wipe as few as people as possible."

Piper and Jason had walked over to the rest of the demigods leaving Annabeth and Percy standing together. This was when Black Widow chose to make her move. Percy saw something flying towards Annabeth. "Annabeth look out!" his warning came just in time for her to notice the projectile and leap out of the way. But unfortunately it distracted Percy from the second projectile which was headed straight for him.

It struck his neck causing an electric shock to run thorough him. "Percy!" Annabeth called. But it was too late. The water barrier which Percy had been maintaining collapsed and the water went rushing in all directions knocking everyone off their feet except Natasha who had clung to a ceiling light and so was able to drop down onto the floor gracefully.

She quickly approached Percy who seemed to be the least affected by the wave. While the rest of the Avengers and demigods lay spluttering he was on his stomach propped up by his elbows. He occasionally twitched as a result of the electricity but he was not choking on any water as far as Natasha could tell.

He saw her coming and glared at her. She had to fight the urge not to take a step back. His glare was scarier than Fury's, she thought. He straightened his arms so that they held him up, but they were shaking to badly and soon he collapsed back onto the floor. Not unconscious but with the amount of electricity that had run through his body he would need time to recover. Some Ambrosia would help, but of course Natasha didn't know this. She smirked. She pulled him to his feet his legs still trembling and held a dagger to his neck. By know the Avengers and demigods had recovered and were standing waiting to see what would happen.

"Turn yourselves in an I won't hurt him," Natasha said. Annabeth clenched her teeth but there really wasn't anything they could do. No matter what they tried they wouldn't be quick enough to avoid harm coming to Percy. Even Piper's charm speak didn't work immediately.

Percy saw what she was thinking. "Get out of here!" he called, "Leave me here."

"Stupid Seaweed Brain, I'm not going to let you die!"

"Look, Annabeth, your smart. It's me or everyone. It's an obvious choice. You can't sacrifice everyone for me." Natasha let him talk wondering how it would turn out. Percy's reasoning was true. Any soldier would see the wisdom in it. When it came down to the one man versus the whole the one man often had to be left behind. But she also knew that love often ignored such reasoning.

"I'm not leaving you, so get that through your thick skull!" She turned to everyone else, "get out of here." No one moved.

The demigods looked around at each other. "We're family, and family never leaves anyone behind." Percy groaned. He would be lying if he said the selfish part of him was overjoyed they had stayed, but still he also didn't want them to be captured. But he had seen that expression in their eyes before. They weren't going to change their minds.

"Drop your weapons," Natasha called ignoring the touchy feely moment. The demigods complied making a pile of swords and daggers and shields and spears and bows and arrows and a few tranquilizer guns and a blue plastic hairbrush. "Put power inhibitor cuffs on all of them," she told her teammates ignoring Thor's protests.

The demigods made a defected line as the Avengers led them down to the cells. But of course you can't keep demigods down for long.

Hopefully that wasn't too confusing. I haven't written a lot of fight scenes so sorry if some parts didn't make sense.

So in case you were confused. I had Piper and Jason going to find and rescue Percy while the others fought. I had them go because Piper could charm speak guards and if that didn't work Jason could use his electricity to knock them out. When they come in Annabeth asks Percy if he is ready because Piper was supposed to tell him the plan on their way over to the rest of the demigods.
