Unforgivable

In Nico's defense, he did try and stop Percy. Well, only if holding Jason in place while Percy took a swing was considered stopping. Oh well. He never did like Jason, Percy definitely had a very good reason not to.

Piper, Frank, Leo, and Hazel just watched in stunned silence as Percy continued to beat the hell out of Jason.

Piper finally snapped out of it before yelling, "Percy, stop!" She used every bit of charm speak she could muster up, but Percy seemed to be unfazed as he continued his assault.

After another few swings he stepped back, admiring his work. "Prick." He muttered.

Nico tried his best to not laugh, Jason's face looked like a smashed banana.

"Damn, I guess if I do it I'll end up killing him. Why didn't you leave me anything to hit?" Nico asked.

Percy's face had ichor splatter all over it, his clothes as well. His fists weren't even bruised, perks of having earth shaker powers.

Frank and Leo ran to Jason to help him up. Hazel was trying to keep a furious Piper from attacking Percy.

Jason was obviously unconscious.

Percy turned and faced them, his angry expression still there. "Unless you want to be next then you will leave, immediately."

Hazel and Frank both vanished, not wanting to be around the angry demigod. Piper stayed, unsure if she should try and help her husband.

"Leave, now." Percy growled at the daughter of Aphrodite.

Piper wanted to argue, but the look on his face said it all. Stay and you die.

She flashed away, probably off to complain to Zeus. Percy didn't really care.

"What are we gonna do with him?" Nico asked, curious to know what his cousin was thinking.

"Drop him off in Alaska, let him walk for a few days." Percy frowned at his one time friend. Jason was spread eagle on the ground, most of his face was a gold patch.

Nico grinned and grabbed the son of Jupiter before falling into a shadow.

Percy smiled, Nico was one of the few that stuck by him.

The son of Poseidon turned to find an army of demigods staring at him with apprehensive eyes, "Who are you?" Someone called out.

Percy raised an eyebrow, then he smiled. Good, he wasn't going to be getting that much attention, so he thought.

"Move!" A female commanded from behind some other demigods.

Percy's eyes widened in surprise, he didn't know how she was still alive. He soon got his answer when the said person pushed two demigods out of her way to get to the front. "What are you all staring at?" She said before she caught sight of him.

Never in his lifetime did he think he could surprise Clarisse, but he managed to find a way.

"Percy Jackson?" She asked, shocked.

Percy waved, "Hey Clarisse, I hear we have someone to kill."

The daughter of Ares smiled, "I thought for sure we would never catch the bastard. Now I know we will. Come, I need your help with defending this camp and preparing these kids on how to fight a war."

Percy nodded, "I thought you would have trained them already. Lose your touch since I've been gone?"

Clarisse smirked, "No, apparently Chiron thought it was a good idea to let them slack off. I think he just wanted a break from fighting for a while. Now he might listen to me and let me train these punks." She said as she began to walk towards the big house. The other demigods went back to their activities.

"Nico, can you go and start working on the arena like we discussed?" Percy asked his cousin.

The son of Hades nodded and dropped into a shadow, disappearing from sight.

Percy smiled, not much had changed since he was last here. "So, how do you look the same as when I last saw you?"

Clarisse frowned, "A couple of years after you and Annabeth left, I was sent on a quest to retrieve an apple of immortality. Ladon was there, but he gave no effort to fight me for an apple. Hell, even those Hesperides didn't show up. I grabbed an apple and went to leave."

She made her hands ball into fists, like she was angry about something. "I knew it, I knew something was off. I could feel it in my gut from the second I entered that place, but it was too late. As I was leaving I heard crying. I, being an idiot, went in search of it. I found a cyclops and a dozen other monsters waiting for me."

Percy raised an eyebrow, "Since when does Chiron send people by themselves on quests? I thought we agreed to never do that again after what happened to Castellan."

Clarisse looked annoyed, "Can I finish?"

Percy cracked a smile, "Sure, I guess."

"Smartass." She grumbled.

"Anyway, I managed to kill them all, but the cyclops hit me with its club. One of my ribs had punctured my lungs. I had a choice, either die and fail the quest or live and complete it. Obviously I chose to eat the damn thing."

Percy noticed she wasn't happy about that decision.

"When I got back my father was there. His smile couldn't have been wider. He started congratulating me and praising me, saying I was his most accomplished child in millennia. After a while I realized that he was the one who had sent me on that quest. He sent me there so I would be forced to accept immortality, something I turned down with you and Annabeth if you recall."

Percy began to understand her anger, "Chris, what happened to him?"

Clarisse seemed to be near tears. "He stayed with me, but eventually couldn't bear the thought of me living forever so he went to get an apple of immortality and never came back. That was a year after I had returned."

Percy nodded, Chris had been one of his friends at camp and to hear that he went missing was something that made him sad.

"I tried to go after him, but my father said that I was an immortal now. I wasn't allowed to interfere with mortals."

Percy could feel the anger rising in his throat, "That's how the gods are. They do what they want when they want and don't give a damn about anyone else."

A kid, around ten or eleven, ran up to the daughter of Ares and handed her a piece of paper. She quickly read it before putting it in her pocket. "Gather the counselors and have them meet me in the big house." She said before continuing on.

"What's going on?" Percy asked.

She didn't respond right away, instead choosing to think of an answer. "Let's just say we aren't on the best of terms with the Romans right now. Me and Reyna have done our best to keep everyone together, but many of them are threatening to go back to California. If that happened then our forces and supplies would be split in half and with our current situation it could possibly get us all killed."

Percy thought over her words, he remembered how their relationship was before the war with Gaea. He remembered helping with bringing the Romans to New York before he and Annabeth had left.

"After this, have everyone go to the amphitheater. I will fix this for you."

Clarisse smiled, "Sounds good to me. Just remember, things aren't like they used to be. I don't think they will react kindly to your straight forward responses."

Percy grinned, "They will. I have an idea."

Clarisse smiled before she remembered his last idea. "Oh no." She muttered.

Line Break

The two had gone to the big house and discussed battle strategy with the cabin counselors. He knew none of them and they didn't know him. They knew his name was Percy, but to his relief they hadn't connected him to the legendary son of Poseidon. He just wasn't ready to deal with all of that drama. He had a job to do and he wasn't going to get distracted by anything else.

After that he had a couple of hours to catch up with Chiron who had been happy to see him. He had said that he had been proud of him and Annabeth when they turned down godhood.

Eventually they had to depart because it was about time for Percy to fix the issue between the Greeks and Romans.

Chiron stood on stage while the hundreds of demigods sat segregated between each other. Everyone was arguing and fighting.

"Silence!" Chiron shouted at the hundreds of demigods. There was instance silence in the amphitheater.

"We have a special guest tonight that would like to speak to you. He is a hero and should be treated as if he were a god."

The ancient centaur backed up as Percy and Nico walked forward. Nico had finished with the arena a couple of hours before and had decided to stick with Percy for the rest of the time. The campers all knew Nico, he occasionally popped in from time to time.

"Greek or Roman?" Some kid shouted from the Greek side.

Percy smirked, this was going to be fun. "Greek."

The entire left side of the room booed, but stopped when Percy raised his hand in the air, every Roman going wide eyed at what they saw. His S.P.Q.R tattoo with the trident.

"I am also a former Praetor of the Twelfth Legion Fulminata."

"Impossible!" Someone else shouted from the Roman side.

Percy looked at the kid, "Normally, you would be right. I was voted as Praetor fifty years ago by the legion after I killed the giant son of Gaea, Polybotes. My name is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and Savior of Olympus. I have returned to eliminate this threat and you will all do what you are told by your superiors."

A bright flash appeared next to Percy, something that surprised even him. Poseidon stood there with his trident in hand and an angry expression on his face. "I have come to declare that until this crisis is resolved that my son, Percy Jackson, has full command over the armies of Olympus. This has been decided by the council of the gods. Anyone who tries to defy this order will be dealt with accordingly."

Thunder boomed so loudly over head that some people had to cover their ears.

"Also, Zeus lost the vote. It would seem he thinks his son Jason is more fit. Pathetic." Poseidon growled before flashing away.

Percy stared at the spot his father had been standing a few moments before. "Well, that was.......interesting."

Chiron stepped forward and cleared his throat, "You have all heard Lord Poseidon. Percy is now in charge of this camp. Every order given from now on will be from Percy. Now, go to dinner. The campfire has been cancelled for the night. In the morning you will all be meeting in the arena. All activities have been cancelled until further notice."

With that said Chiron walked off stage. The campers all filed out of the building until only Percy and Nico remained.

"Well, these kids are about to hate life." Nico commented when Percy had spent a few minutes staring off into space.

"Oh, you have no idea. They aren't going to be getting Chiron's training like we had, they are getting the Percy Jackson edition." He said with a wide grin.

"Great, these kids are going to die before they even make it to the war." Nico muttered before he flashed away.

Percy smiled, he was going to like this. These kids weren't going to be so happy they took all of this time to just slack off.
