LOUIS' POV

"Fiona... what's the time?" I asked in a low voice "4 pm" she replied. I was engulfed by sadness again as I recalled what my father told me in yesterday before he left "I don't think I will be able to see you for like a week or two, my Dad needs my help on a stupid project... I don't wanna leave, I'll miss you"

"It's okay, I'd be here waiting for you" Fiona stroked my hair just like she did before, I smiled as I melted into her sweet touch.

I'm so fortunate to have Fiona as one of my best friends, but somewhere deep down I wished we could be more than friends, if only I could summon up the courage to tell her how I felt, if I do it might risk our friendship or she might start acting weird and I don't want that to happen. I need to be a man and tell her now!

I turned my body and placed my hands beside her, Fiona tilted her head as she stared at me like a cute innocent butterfly.

Our noses were just a few distance apart as I stared at her soft pink lips, I stared at her sky blue eyes as I tried to read her thoughts, I needed to receive her validation before I made a move.

Fiona held my face and pressed a kiss on my lips, my eyes widened with my mouth slightly parted, I shifted some strands of her hair to the back of her ears. I grabbed her hips and captured her lips, played in her mouth like it was my little playground and she tried to keep up.

Fiona wrapped her hands around my neck as I deepened the kiss. I could not think straight about the way her body was in close contact with mine, I was tempted to touch her in forbidden places but I didn't want to ruin the special moment.

When the excitement down there was getting too much I jumped off the bed and out the window "see ya!"

Fiona shouted from the window "be careful, you'd hurt yourself!"

"Nah I'm fine. Call me if you need anything okay!" I waved at Fiona with a smile.

"Okay bye, I'd be waiting! Fiona screamed louder. I glanced at her one last time then I turned to leave

"Not today, I can be a man another time" I whispered to myself.

FIONA's POV

I planned to go to the supermarket after I returned from my daily part-time jobs. The sun was burning bright, leaves danced to the tune of the wind, children laughed and played in the park. I inhaled the afternoon fresh air "This is Magnolia"

When I was done buying the ingredients for a new veggie soup I held one bag on my left and the other at my right.

I stopped by the ice cream stand "Strawberry please"

"One strawberry ice cream coming up!"

I quickly paid and walked away with my ice cream. I felt an intense stare a few seconds ago, I was in the supermarket when I had the odd feeling I've been followed.

At first I concluded it was Louis, but why would he be stalking me? Louis will run to my direction the moment he sees me.

I entered a nearby mall but the stalker didn't follow me. After moving around for a few hours I was sure no one was behind me.

I peeked through the door, I sighted only cars parked with families, friends and couples around. I held my bags tight and ran straight home.

I locked my door with the key and bolted it, I turned to the window and did the same. I swayed to the kitchen and dumped my bags on the counter.

I laid on my bed panting as if I was chased by hyenas. I grabbed my phone from my half-opened black purse and was about to give Louis a call.

"No... he will worry too much" I kept the phone on my bedside table and entered the bathroom to freshen up.

I bounced back in my bed staring into space as I wondered what anyone would want from me.

"Maybe a hungry man was after my groceries? There is no other logical reason, I mean I've been doing this every Saturday. Maybe I was just unlucky today" I breathed out as I tried to forget about it.

I rushed my dinner, slipped into my white pajamas and went to bed.

It had been a week since I experienced the weird stalker encounter, I had to go shopping, I couldn't lock myself up without food. I grabbed a random blue jeans, a red shirt beneath a black jacket and black shoes.

I went to the grocery shop and picked up the things I needed.

It had not been long since I left the shop that it began to drizzle with a fierce wind that almost blew me away. I ran under shelter, luckily it had a bench. "I'll just wait a little until the rain stops" I sat on the bench keeping the shopping bags on my legs.

I waited for an hour, the sky was dark, raindrops hit the ground in full force and the wind was as powerful as ever. I had to stand up and get moving before things got worse.

I took the dark alley shorter so that I could get home quickly, I stopped on my tracks as I sensed some life force.

The footsteps began to make their way to the light, men in black suits and glasses about twenty five to thirty in number surrounded me, they didn't look like thieves nor did they look like kidnappers.

Despite my assumption my knees were shaking and my hands trembled. "Who are you? What do you want?" I half-yelled to the distinguished man with a black box

He raised his hand showing what looked like an ID card or badge "We are the M.A.C, Magnolia Alien Control, please come with us"

My heart sank to my belly as I heard his words. "Why? What do you mean? You have the wrong person" I tried to keep my indifferent voice.

"Very well then, boys, arrest that Salvin!"

I blocked the attack of the few men and jumped down with a leg sweep, more charged in my direction, I front flipped spinning my legs in the air.

I sprang to my feet and others lunged at me, I dodged until I felt a sharp kick on my knee, I lost balance and my hands were pinned. I yanked their hands and tossed them. I staggered as I clung to the wall. I felt a sting like that of a needle.

I threw a roundhouse kick but he dodged, my vision became blurry and my body feeble.

"Nighty night Salvin" was the last thing I heard.

I woke up in what looked like a large rectangular container, a big computer was at one side, a white table filled with different chemicals and apparatus, I looked around and saw numerous plants and animal-like creatures I've never seen or heard about. This was a laboratory for sure.

I heard the sound of an opening door and footsteps followed.

"You're awake, that's good" a tall lanky man with an illuminated bald head wrapped in an oversized lab coat stepped in the light

"Mr. Walter will be here any minute" he flashed his coffee brown teeth.

"Something was not right, he just mentioned Louis' name! Louis was behind all these? Urgh! He tricked me with his smile and warm company, and I thought he liked me for real, who was I kidding anyway" my heart ached as I pondered.

Shortly after I heard the door open and more footsteps were coming in my direction, a muscular blonde man suited in classic black and white stepped into the light, I squinted trying to point out the reason this man looked so familiar.

Louis walked to the light, our eyes widened as we made eye contact.

"Behold! The Salvin!" The bald scientist pointed at me.

"What? Are you crazy? T-This is my friend, let her go, you weirdo!" Louis yelled at him.
