Chapter 28
FIONA's POV
"Sure, I'm cool" I answered nodding
Louis walked to the door, flashing a smile as he was about to leave
"Would you bring Mint with you?" he shook his head, my lips pouted and eyebrows furrowed "why not?"
"I'm not allowed to" he replied, reducing his tone more than normal.
"No problem I'll say my last goodbye" I touched his little black nose making it twitch "Bye Mint, I'll miss you" I said rubbing his little feet and hands. Louis smiled at me once more then he left.
I worked in Magnificent fashion house and bouquet style salon before going to Golden Sweetness restaurant and worked for two hours. I remember what Louis told me yesterday and called him but he was not picking up, I walked outside after looking around.
Someone closed my eyes, I smiled, placing my hand on theirs as I felt the presence of a person behind, the hands were warm and slender, a familiar scent and feeling.
I pulled his hand, greeted by his cute smile as I turned "I'm ready"
He took me to the top floor, it had the same golden and silver color. It was as quiet as a library and had sleek brown chairs and tables.
LOUIS' POV
As she walked to her chair I couldn't take my eyes off her purple long sleeves, blue shorts and black sneakers.
We were almost done with the lesson when I was thirsty and asked Fiona if she'll like to have anything
"No, I'm good," she replied, shaking her head.
"Fiona, you don't need water or anything?"
"Uhmm... water is okay"
I called a waiter and he came with two glasses filled with wine. Fiona stared at me with widened eyes as he dropped it on the table and left.
"Louis! I said water" I chuckled at her reaction.
"They are both liquids right? Wine is sweeter and healthier cuz it's made of fruits" I smirked
Fiona face-palmed with a sigh "you idiot, water is healthier"
I rubbed the back of my neck, faking a laugh as I put the glass in front of her. She rolled her eyes then took the cup "thanks, after this we'd finish up"
Five minutes after the drink Fiona kept the book on the table "*hic* open to page eleventy seven" she smiled.
I stared at her, confused whether to open the book or ignore her. I called the waiter asking for the type of wine he served
"What do you mean it was a liquor!? I don't care if it was expensive! It had what... ten percent alcohol?" I darted my eyes to Fiona who was drowsily flipping pages while laughing.
It was 5:30 pm, I waited for thirty minutes hoping for the alcohol to wear off but it didn't.
I was about to carry her on my back when she shoved me "go away! Don't touch me *hic* I want home" she sobbed softly
"I'd take you home... I'm Louis, your best friend"
"Best friend *hic* Louis?" she gazed into my eyes, I nodded moving closer and carrying her on my back "Let's go home"
I slowly dropped Fiona on the bed but her hands were firmly wrapped around my neck, I felt her warm breath staring back at her
"Louis... stay with me" she pouted tugging my shirt, I stared wide-eyed with my lips apart
"I-I don't think that's a good idea, you're drunk, let go"
"You don't want me" Fiona sniffed
"No! It's not like that, I want you but it's getting late, okay" I patted her head and kissed her nose then she smiled shyly
"Louis, would you hate me for having secrets?" I shook my head and she continued "I wanna tell you something, I am not a-"
"Can you tell me in the morning? It's late" Fiona smiled tracing a finger on my chest, my lower body felt an electrifying feeling. I smiled back as I tried to keep my cool.
I sighed in relief when she freed me "goodnight Fiona" I waved before going.
FIONA's POV
It was the end of the summer holidays, I woke up with little memory of what happened yesterday, all I could remember was Louis taking me home after feeding me an alcoholic drink.
I gasped checking my clothes to make sure they were intact, I wondered why that was the first thing my mind thought of, Louis is a trustworthy person, unlike his friends.
"How dare he give me alcohol! I'll get him for this!" I half-yelled walking to the bathroom. I screamed when everything that happened last night replayed in my memory
"Oh no, no, no... I did not just... Phew! He knows nothing about the mystic world. Uh no... Why is today the first day of school!?" I pulled my hair feeling more embarrassed about the thought of meeting him.
