-Chapter 1:When did THAT get there?-

"Welcome, my friends, to Paff Woods!" Destiny shouts, her arms open wide, gesturing to a path behind her.

"This is Paff Woods?" Angelica askes, Loir nodding in agreement.

"Yeah. Is it?" Jessica added.

"Yup!" Nicole jumped in, then turned around.

"Ahh. Memorys. They sucked ass, but I did meet Destiny there." She continued, gesturing to the school across the street.

"Hawthorn Hills. I always figured it was called that due to the trees around possibly being Hawthorne." Destiny sighed, thinking back before snapping back to the present.

"Alright! Here, I'll be giving a tour, and Nicole," she pointed at her, "You can jump in whenever. I think you went here before."

"Only a couple times"

"Alrighty, let's go!"

Destiny walked alittle aways up the path, the four people following before stoping at a small bridge.

"Here," she gestures off to her right, the groups left, "I used to catch frogs. If the waters low, I go up stream to catch more. It was fun."

The area was muddy, and a stream of water flowes across quickly, but smoothly enough to keep your balance if you went in. From where the group stood, there was a stone with the line 'Paff Woods' carved into it and frogs chilling in the water and mud.

"Now, come along! There's more to see!" The second tallest said, all happy and geedy.

Walking along a wooden path, the group passed a stump, ("I like to think a mythical creature sits there.") crossed another bridge, and came to a larger platform that splits two ways. Infront of them was a tall hill.

"This!" Destiny gestures around her, "Is my favorite place!"

Loir looks around at all the trees, and a couple forts others made.

Nicole sits on one of the two benches and does the same.

Jessica jumps off the platform and starts climbing the hill.

And Angelica and Destiny start talking about the forest, and a couple other thing relating the forest.

After a while, Destiny says, "Well, I guess it's time to continue through." She turned to face most of the bevy of teens and shouts, "Alright, everyone come here, it's time to continue through."

Everyone had to wait a little bit for Jess to climb back down, but after that, they went down the path to the right.

They come across a bench and Destiny says, still walking, "I remember coming here in kindergarten to look at fallen leaves, probably brought some in to draw."

They continue up the path that at one point Destiny said people bike up it, until they got to the top of the hill. Walking along, the group looks at the scenery, until they get stopped by someone.

"Um, Destiny? Was that always there? I don't remember it being there."

Everyone looked at Nicole and saw her pointing off somewhere. Looking, Destiny noticed what she meant.

"No, no one should have permission to build in here." Destiny said, walking off the trail to get a better look. Nicole, Loir, and Angelica followed her, Jessica was reluctant, but decided to follow too.

Approaching the building, everyone got an eerie feeling about the place.

It looked similar to a wooden shack, but it also looked like an ancient temple. Angelica approached the door and pushed, opening it, and entered.

Destiny was looking at the wall, taking every detail in to report to the police about a building on reserved property.

Loir and Jessica observed the building as Nicole went in with Angelica.

Suddenly, Angelica calls out, "Hey guys! Come in here! There's a weird object we'd like to show ya!"

Looking at each other with curiosity, they enter and see the one room building's fully lit.

They spot Angelica and Nicole on the far side of the room. Loir and Jessica joined them as Destiny looked at the walls.

'It really looks like a temple now.' Destiny thought, looking at the pictures and familiar symbols.

"Destiny! Check this out!" Loir called over.

Walking over, the called girl tried to see what they were looking at, but couldn't tell. Upon arriving, Destiny saw a strange blueish orb sitting on a pedestal.

"Whoa," Destiny breathed, slowly reaching out to touch it. The others decided to do the same.

Angelica was first, and said it was a relaxing cool temperature.

Loir was next, and said it feels wet a dry at the same time, unpredictable.

Nicole followed, saying that it felt cold, and dark.

Jessica touched it and claimed it felt like touching a flower, or soft plant of some sort.

Destiny was last. She reached out and touched it. "It feels like, I dunno, dark? It reminds me of the moon."

"So we all felt something different?" Loir said, looking at everyone in the room.

"Yup." Was round about what everyone said.

When every one was starting to leave, a loud thump was heard. Turning to the sound quickly, they realized Angelica was on the ground.

"Angel!" Jess called out, running to her side and rolling her over, onto her back.

"She looks out cold..."Destiny mumbled loud enough for the group to hear.

A second thump was heard and Loir was on the ground, unconscious.

"What is happening?!" Jess shouted out.

"I dunno!" Destiny replied, catching Nicole as she suddenly fainted next to her, and set her down.

Jessica, who was still kneeling next to Angel, suddenly fell forward with a thump, and remained.

Destiny, thinking she was next, quickly laid down to prevent injury. The moment she laid her head down, she felt extremely dizzy and her vision went black. 'Thank gods I'm on the ground.' She thought before fainting.

Unbeknownst to them, the blueish orb had glowed throughout the whole ordeal, as if the orb was the one causing all this.

Soon, they will wake in a world unknown to them, and stranger things will only get stranger.
