Daren and Stan took a break training, Daren exited the room seeing Slick looking at him with a serious abnormal glare

"Slick what are you doing here?" Daren asked

"I came here to talk you," Slick said

"About what?" Daren asked

"We found the cult," Slick said

"Are you sure," Daren asked

"I'm defenly sure, After the cult was mostly taken out they laid low slowly gather the resources they needed but now a large group of people has disappeared mostly homeless people so the public wouldn't notice, " Slick said

"Where are they," Daren asked

"Not completely sure my crows saw them taking a unconousioss person near an dead end where they saw a phrase and a green light teleport them away," Slick said

"They might be using a gateway this time after what happened last time it wouldn't be a surprised they became cautious," Daren said

"I know the phrase so getting is shouldn't be hard but we don't know what's going to happen when we get in is the boy ready?" Slick said referring to Stan a long pause became of Daren before he could reply

"No he still needs more time," Daren said

"Shame we could've used his ability to see magical aura," Slick said

"So when are we going," Daren asked

"Once everyone is ready, I already told Katty and Crave," Slick said

"Okay letting me tell Stan whats going on," Daren said walking back to Stan

"What were you guys talking about?" Stan asked

"Slick found the location of that cult and we plan on stopping it," Daren said

"Great when are we going?" Stan asked

"You're staying here," Daren said

"What?! But I've been training for those right so how come I have to stay here," Stan protested

"You are not ready Stan I can't risk your life until I feel as if you can handle it," Daren said

"That's not fair I'm stronger now I'm not afraid to risk my life just give me a chance you proof myself," Stan said

"NO!" Daren said, The locked eyes glaring at each other both gritting their teeth, Daren couldn't help but becoming impressed if this was Stan two months ago he would be shaking looking down avoiding the Lycan's glaze.

"Emilie can you keep watch of Stan until this is done," Daren asked

"I still have my shop open," Emilie said

"Take him there," Daren said

"That's not fair how come I can't stay here," Stan asked

"But-" Emilie used her hair to grab Stan and walk out the place, Daren grabbed his weapons and walked back to Slick

"I'll grab some Lycans in my pack and meet you there," Daren said

"Okay don't get killed," Slick said, half an hour later The Lycans arrived at the destination Slick showed them and were greeted by Slick along with Katty and Crave,

"Hey Daren," Crave said cheerfully delighted to see his boyfriend

"Stan's not coming?" Crave asked

A glowing green door appeared on the wall and with a bright light that took the four magic users to an unfamiliar place, The four looked around noticing that it was just them, the place looked like a room in a broken castle, They saw a man sitting on a shattered throne the same man who was part of the servants that took offered a victim to the Death Queen

"Who are you?" Slick said

"I am Maxir Steylis the Stave of Death, I have to thank you for easily being gullible to fall for this, Did you really think we weren't prepared for you?" Maxir said

"Are you saying this is a trap," Daren asked

"Yes this is obviously a trap why does the dog have enough brain cells to figure this out but the rest out you look like lost puppies," Maxir said

"What do you want from us?" Katty asked

"You don't understand sweetheart? I want to kill you and put an end to this pathic attempt in stopping us, the death queen is eternal nothing you can do will stop her, she is the most powerful being out there," Maxir said getting up and grabbing his staff

"What makes you think you could take us on it's just one of you and four of us, you might have a better chance with your other two friends," Crave said

"I don't get to often show off my skill, and the two you are referring to I have trouble understanding, Maldor is quite short-minded and only cares about becoming more invincible as that could happen, and Raven barely talks she just does her job and she isn't unbearable but I don't her mask," Maxir said

"We talked enough already," Maxir said getting up and grabbing his sending a bolt of green magical energy at Katty hitting her directly in the chest "Now this is where we fight,"
