You watch from the door as your tall, and incredibly handsome boyfriend smokes outside on the roof. You feel the chilly breeze against your skin and shudder involuntarily. The crisp air fills your nostrels and only one thing comes to mind. Winter is coming.

You feel your heart ache as you watch the cancerious chemicals seep through his lips and in his lungs. You felt uneasy thinking about the side effects of this bad habit of his and figure its time to talk to him about this.

You've brought it up in the past a few times however,  he always just brushed you off and started to brag about how his looks never change and that he's very healthy since he works out. You shake your head side to side as you remember, deciding that now's your chance to fix it considering the fact that you two are alone.

"Z-Zen?" You call out. He turns around immediately at the sound of his beloved's voice, his beautiful long hair swaying as he does so. He smiles as his gaze lands on yours, his eyes crinkling as he does so. "Ahh, baby What are you doing out here? I thought I told you to wait for me in bed." He says with a chuckle. You glance at the cigarette balanced in between his long fingers.

"You're not even wearing a coat. Jeez, do you want me to worry? come here." he says as he opens his arms for you.

You hurriedly walk into his open arms and feel warmth wrap around you as he hugs you close to him. "Warm, isn't it?" He asks as you snuggle into his chest.

"Yeah, you're very warm Zen. I like it since I'm always cold" You smile into his chest and he continues to smoke. "You don't have to worry about that my angel, I'll be sure to always keep you warm like this." You smile at his sweet talk and enjoy his loving embrace. After a few seconds, you remember why you came here in the first place and pull away. He looks down at you with confusion written all over his face as you normally liked his hugs.

"Is something wrong?" He asks, you nod and think of how to put this gently. "Zen... It's about your smoking habit." You start.

He sighs and pats your head. "Baby, you don't need to worry. Things like this don't affect me. Don't worry so much my love." He says sweetly however, you don't give in this time.

"No. It's not okay. You're slowly killing yourself, you know? And I'm worried. Very worried that something will happen. Didn't they ever teach you that smoking was bad for you?" You say with a frown. He pats your head and places a kiss on your forehead.

"I know. But I'm different. Remember my leg? It healed in a few days. I'm a monster when it comes to these things. Thank you for worrying about me but I should be the one taking care of you." He responds.

You shake your head and step back even further away from him. "Hey, you're going to get sick. Can't we contue inside at least?" He asks.

You shake your head and cross your arms. "No Zen, I won't go inside until you agree to quit this bad habit. I know it's hard but with the proper-"

"[YourName], baby, my princess. You really shouldn't worry about me. I'm fine, I'm still as handsome as ever and I work out regularly." He says as he tries to step closer to you in hopes to hug you again but you jump back, dodging him.

"[YourName], please listen I'm-"

"No. You listen Zen. I'm serious you need to quit this horrible addiction of yours. And don't get me started on your drinking." You say sternly.

"Babe, I'm thankful that my pretty lady is caring so much about my health but I'm fine." He fights back, he was just as stubborn as you. Possibly even more.

"I'm not going inside until you agree to seek help." You say making him sigh. "[YourN-]"

"Ahhh~ I'm starting to get sick~" you dramatically cry out as you rub your bare arms. He furrows his eyebrows and reaches for you again however you run away.

"I'm gonna strip and wait naked out here. I'm serious~" you call out "h-hey what are you- don't run!" he calls out as he chases after you.

You start to pull up your shirt (which belonged to him) revealing a few inches of bare skin. You look back quickly and blow him a kiss as you lift off his shirt, revealing some of your bra and before you take it off you  look  back again to make sure he's watching, only find him gaining on you. He was a lot faster than you so he caught up easily, he grabs you by the arm and pulls you into his warm embrace.

"Ok, ok,  you win." He says while panting. "Please don't take your shirt off... At least not here I'd prefer it if we did this inside so- a-ahh never mind. I'm getting carried away" he says as his face gets red in embarrassment.

"I wanted to invite an organization to help people with smoking addictions to the party anyways." He says as he leans down and lifts you up bridal style.

"Now let's get you warmed up. My princess can't be sick." He says with a smile making heat rise to your cheeks. "You're so sly..." You mutter shyly. He smiles and leans in for a quick kiss on the lips before speaking.

"Thank you for worrying about me so much. You're the only one to ever treat me this kindly. I love you babe."

E x r a :

"Achoo!!!!!" You sneeze violently while your in Zen's bed. "Zen~ where are you?" You call out.

He walks in with a mask on and brings you some soup. "Sorry babe. It took longer than I thought." He looks at the various used tissues scattered on and around his bed. He shakes his head.

"See? I told you that you'd get sick [YourName]." He sits down on a chair beside the bed and begins to feed you.
