Sitting in the middle of class, the day droned out slower than ever before. Her eyelids began to close and her head bobbed while trying to stay awake.

Honestly, she just wanted to go home and sleep. Though she would have gotten enough sleep if it weren't for her addiction to the game, which made her stay awake until midnight.

She let out a quiet yawn and began to think about her options. Today was the day she finally would try to get 707's route.

"Hm?" She heard the low beep of her phone, telling her that she had a notification from Mystic Messenger.

The teacher was busy discussing the lesson and usually he just ignored the students that were using their phones in class. College was really different once she got to her 3rd year. It was like the entire school was turning careless or lazy.

She checked the title of the chatroom and frowned confused.

707's First Real Chat

"Strange..." She thought. Knowing the Casual Story and Deep Story full well, she didn't remember encountering a chatroom like this one. "I'll check it out once I get home then."

It was already her last class of the day and she impatiently wanted to run out the door once the bell had rung. But she still had time before the next chatroom opened, so she carefully packed her things into her bag and made sure that she didn't leave anything behind again.

After saying goodbye to her friends, she got in the backseat of the car and stared idly out the window as the vehicle began to drive.

Her mind was clouded with thoughts of the mysterious chatroom. Was it some sort of event and she had unlocked a secret chat? That was the only explanation she could come up with.

Or maybe...

The game glitched?

Quickly taking out her phone from her pocket, she checked the notification again and pondered about its existence in the game. If the game glitched and she had gotten a secret chat, then she was probably really lucky!

She grabbed her bag hurriedly and got out of the car as soon as it stopped in front of the house. Inputting her phone password, she instantly turned on the wifi connection and headed inside to her room. Dinner wouldn't start until an hour later so she had time to kill while her mother was busy cooking.

Eagerly clicking the app icon and waiting for the game to load, she checked for walkthroughs on her laptop to see if anyone else had gotten the mysterious chatroom, even going to tumblr to see if cheritz had posted a new announcement. After 5 minutes of searching and having found no results, she wondered how she would do well without a guide.

She entered the chatroom and waited for someone to chat. Checking the names of the people logged in, she found out that only Seven would be chatting with her.

Back when she played the other character's routes, she enjoyed chatting with Seven. Despite trying to choose a specific route, she always clicked on answers that gave the young hacker Hearts.

"Hello...?"

She smiled widely and clicked on the Answer button to choose a reply. However only a blank response box was shown on the screen.

Puzzled by the lack of options, she wondered if clicking it would give an automatic answer. The game did give her single responses sometimes, so this should be one of them, right?

"Might as well since there's no other choice anyway..." She shrugged and clicked it, only to be surprised even further when her keyboard popped up from the bottom of the screen. "What the...?"

"Can you type something?"

Seven's chat bubble popped up after a couple of minutes. She blinked at the screen of her phone and wondered if this was part of the game.

A chat with artificial intelligence, maybe?

She thought for a few seconds on what to say, before typing in her reply.

"Something."

She laughed at her own response, knowing how 707 loved to joke around. She became curious on what his reply would be.

~707's POV~

As soon as the word popped into the chat, I instantly had to hold back my laughter when I read it. Was this girl being serious? That was what I would have typed in if someone asked me the same request!

I felt my fingers quickly began to type my reply.

"lololololol that reply is so overused"

I sent the message, the smile on my face was genuine for once. I mean I finally got the chance to chat the real her! I gave myself a pat on the back for my awesome ideas.

"How was your day?"

A common question but I didn't know what to say. I didn't even expect this to work in the first place. But I was curious, what does she do all day when no one was logged in? Was she really okay when she said she was or did she choose the reply just to earn Hearts for a certain character??

"Pretty okay I guess. The classes are okay but the teachers make it sound so boring lol"

"So she's a student?" I hummed in thought for another question. Anything would do really. As long as we got to chat with each other like this then it didn't matter what I would come up with.

"Ur a student? Didn't expect that~"

"How old are you?"

I waited patiently, waiting as she typed in her responses. The more I talked to her, the more curious I got.

What did she look like?

"I'm turning 19 this year but I look younger than that. What about you, Seven? How was your day?"

She wanted to know about my day? I felt a little flustered and I could have sworn my cheeks turned pink. For all I know, she doesn't even realize that she was talking to the real 707 and not just some game character.

Sighing a bit, I typed in my next response.

"Feeling a whole lot better now that you're here lol"

"Uh-oh." The screen suddenly turned black. "Damn it..."

I tried turning it on again but the screen showed nothing but a black screen. I opened the back case of my phone to check what was wrong, but everything was perfectly fine.

Maybe she had to log out all of a sudden? But that didn't explain why my phone suddenly switched off.

"God... How annoying. I wanted to talk to her a bit more..."
